This is a lovely place to stay. We could not have had a better welcome. Philippa made our stay special in any number of ways. The room itself was very comfortable, and we loved the style of the furniture and decoration. It was clear that a lot of thought and effort had gone into it. Breakfast was extremely good: everything we ate and drank was of very high quality and very well-presented. The location is convenient for the train station, the beach, shops, cafés, etc. All in all, this place is a gem and we would definitely go back.

I loved everything!

Absolutely everything! My Nan and I loved how it felt so comfortable yet such a treat. The whole place was beautifully decorated and each and every detail has been meticulously thought about to ensure guests feel super spoilt and super comfortable! I had read the reviews saying how wonderfully comfortable the beds were and they weren’t wrong! We both slept so well, everything about the beds were just marvellous. Then to wake up to the best sea view was just perfect! I had also read the reviews saying how amazing Philippa and Colin were as hosts, so I was heading there with high expectations, but from even before we had arrived Philippa went out of her way to ensure my Nan and I had the perfect stay. This absolutely wonderful treatment continued throughout our three night stay. So many caring and thoughtful touches, even choccie eggs and an Easter card for us! Colin then fed us super well with the most delicious of breakfasts. These wonderful hosts deserve every bit of praise as they really do go above and beyond for their guests. I really can’t thank Philippa enough for making this trip so perfect for my Nan and I. We have left with our hearts (and tummies!) full of happy (and giggly!) memories and for that I can’t thank you enough. We so look forward to coming back and staying again one day super soon! 💕

This is a B&B with high ambition. Superb breakfast, try the omelette, but all is well cooked by Colin. The whole place is immaculate and a lit of effort has gone into the interior decoration. Very caring hist. Great attention to detail. This place is worth the highest regard and rating.

Absolutely everything! beautiful rooms and so comfortable. Such a great place to stay for a wedding and birthday weekend. So welcoming and loved our stop at the Awel y Mor.

Advise re: booking restaurants etc in advance. Hard to find somewhere to eat in evenings, as everywhere fully booked.

Had the feel of a boutique hotel, decorated to a very high standard, with lots of lovely touches. Very comfortable. The hosts could not do enough for us, we were made to feel extremely welcome. Breakfast was excellent with every option available. Location perfect - right opposite the beach.

Everything was perfect, the accommodation is tastefully decorated and super comfortable, we had a see view which was the best I've ever had. Breakfast was lovely, there was nothing you couldn't ask for in a stay.

Both Phillipa and Colin were very helpful and met all our extra needs. Breakfast was fabulous. The view from our room was not great but this was reflected in the price. The view from the front was great. Easy car parking was available.
