The property is quaint and worked for our stay. The neighborhood is amazing and location was the best part.

This is a good property to stay at. Great view from the upstairs patio and plenty of sleeping space. The proximity to Zilker Park and Barton springs pool is great. I would stay here again.

Everything was great but I would suggest new carpeting. I do appreciate the great communication!

We enjoyed our visit. Good location for all the wedding festivities and enjoying Barton Springs and Zilker park.

This location was fantastic. It's very close to Zilker Park and a cheap Uber/Lyft to the downtown area. The key pad lock made check in and out very convenient, and there was plenty of communication in advance of our arrival. The house itself left quite a bit to be desired. It has a very strong musty odor. I thought once the AC had been running for a few hours that it would clear up, but it was intense throughout the entire stay. There were ants in the upstairs bathroom. There is a portable AC unit in one of the upstairs bedrooms, and it had completely soaked the carpet through. I did alert management to this, and they advised to turn it off and they'd reach out to maintenance. I was never contacted again about it. The furniture is heavily stained, and most corners of floors, counters, and windows have dirt/dust buildup on them. The house needs a deep cleaning, a coat of paint, and some upgrades to the ventilation.

Property owners/managers have failed to send a receipt for my stay after several requests. VRBO says they cannot help because Austin Vacay uses their own system. Queen Bed in second bedroom was broken upon arrival, and uncomfortable to sleep in. Unit has a musty smell, and foul odor from kitchen sink Ants crawling around in bathroom Unit much darker than appears in pictures. Otherwise property clean. Walkable to Zilker park and Barton Springs pool.

The rental was canceled because lack of water and heat (temperature 15oF). Renter did not answered the phone. VRBO agent was very helpful and found a hotel.

Great location!

Needs a deep clean and fresh paint. Lighting is horrible. Chairs isn’t he kitchen are broken and the air fresheners are gross. Towels and bedding were fine.

The property was very clean on arrival and the location was prime! We’ve stayed here before and glad we chose to stay again!

I would definitely stay there again, not far from downtown or other attractions in the city

This apartment was perfect for our family of 6. Easy walk to hike & bike trail, Barton Springs, and a short drive to other parts of central Austin. The kitchen & bathrooms were well supplied. I hope to stay again on future trips.

We had a great time staying at this house for our trip to Austin City Limits! It was such a quick and easy walk to the park. Although the place did not go above and beyond or exceed our expectations, it was just what we needed for the weekend. Spacious and easy parking was a plus.

We enjoyed the deck outside the master bedroom.

I love how the place had multiple beds in one room! Very smart! Very clean and spacious! I wish it did have two showers though!

I had a great stay here with my boys (ages 12 and 13 in the heart of Austin. The front door is up the long stairs shown in the oustide pic. Pack light. Both bedrooms are upstairs but the living area has a pull out couch downstairs and another sitting couch there in the same living space as the pullout couch. We had no issues. We used a code to unlock the door and had no real check in process so that was nice. The house was tidy and clean. Beds were comfy. The location was fantastic. We came in from North Texas and was easily able to avoid I-35 and Mopac (Loop 1) by taking The Capitol of Texas HWY to Barton Springs. I would recommend eating at Magnolia Cafe for breakfast or brunch (on south congress). And Maudies Tex Mex (on Lamar) had excellent cheese enchiladas with spicy ranchero sauce and great salsa and drinks. Chuys is another iconic tex-mex restaurant and is the closest, right on Barton Springs. The Barton Springs natural spring fed pool was still closed since covid but we walked down to it and were able to go down (a few minutes walk) on a trail where the pool spills over into Ladybird Lake. The kids swam there for free and enjoyed the trees and scenery. This where the locals (and many of their friendly dogs) go to play and chill out. The lake has a great trail for hiking or biking and bike rental is just right out in the front parking area of the house. I have no complaints with out stay and hope to visit again! I used to live in Austin so I know this truly the best location to stay! Thank you for a great stay and very fair price for this location. We had a great time!

The rent process was great. It just had a bad smell, like vomit and poop. Also the owner takes a while to reply.

The owners are very accommodating and responsive. They will not show up unannounced and will check up on you to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We had 0 issues and it felt like a second home. Book now!

Five Star for location! What a great little birds nest! Everything worth seeing in Austin, TX is a stones throw from this gem. Sophisticated travelers appreciate the quality of an excellent base from which to explore. The house itself is no frills but roomy and adequately equipped. Excellent King bed and shower. It was fairly dirty. They knew there were eight of us staying there but only gave us six towels. I asked for more but they said they couldn’t provide anymore. I think her name was Elizabeth. There were no extras at this place. No salt and pepper, no napkins, there were two kitchen towels to last eight people five days. The location was great. Hiking was just across the road and easy to get to. The beds were comfortable. But overall the carpet was dirty and there were Q-tips and other trash behind the dressers. The dishes were dirty. I would give it 2 1/2 stars but since there’s no half I’ll go 3.

The property was very spacious, private and has a wonderful view from the second story deck. The apartment was clean, comfortable, with nice bed linens. The management team is amazing, Elizabeth was so kind in accommodating us with a later check out as we needed to wait to speak with our brother's doctors at the hospital before heading out. Very gracious and compassionate, we are truly grateful! PS We all loved the artwork at the property! Thanks Much Jackie R.

This house has a rodent infestation and the beds are held up by rods. The house overall needs to be updated.

You could not have a better location. Easy walk from house to town lake path system and the sculpture gardens. Beautiful views from master bedroom deck. Nice quiet neighborhood. One of my favorite parts of the house were the lovely soft sheets on the beds. House was well stocked with extra towels. We prepared a small( 5 person) Thanksgiving Dinner and kitchen was adequately equipped for that type of cooking. Check in was easy and they were quick to respond at onset when I could not find the email with key codes.
