We have relatives in the area and needed a place for our family of five to stay near them. It was great.

Great location to just relax at the beach.

Beautiful place. Loved the patiio and it was actually pretty quiet.

The house is extremely comfy and roomy with a lovely rooftop deck. Perfect for our mini family reunion.

Property as listed. Great beach house across from the beach(s). Close to activities, shops, grocery, restaurants. Easy drive to Los Angeles attractions, except for Universal Studio Hollywood during morning rush hour, since it is located at the other end of the city, so plan ahead. Quick response by host for minor questions that we had. Great rooftop patio. Would stay here again. Unrelated to the property: Kids bedroom (with bunkbeds) is for kids or young adults, not really for a couple. Lots of oneway streets and stops signs so watch for those. Sometimes you need to drive "two" blocks in the opposite direction to get to where you are going. Garage is in back alleyway, and fits a minivan. Would be nice to have a how-to-manual, but pretty easy to figure out most things.

We loved staying in this home. It is welcoming with a bonus of a fun rooftop that overlooks the area. We will come back

Gorgeous rooftop views. There are also nice views of the beach (which is right across the street) from the upstairs family room. Very comfortable. Lots of cool, tasteful, eclectic decor to look at. Good showers, comfy beds, nice kitchen. Good location. It took us a minute to figure out that the garage access is from the alley in back. Having a garage was really nice. I needed some laundry detergent, and they delivered it to the front door for me right away. There are several separate comfy areas to spread out in, which is nice, when traveling as a family. We felt at home there. We would love to stay there again.

This house exceeded our expectations! It is situated right near the Alamitos Bay and has excellent views from all 3 floors. The rooftop deck is wonderful for meals and sunbathing. The interior decor is very beautiful with Mediterrarean and Gothic touches. Lots of artwork. The bedrooms are very quiet. Having a 2 car garage made it very accessible. HIGHLY recommend for a family wanting a wonderful vacation on the Alamitos Bay!

The best time !

Loved this home. The home is well furnished and included a pool table for additional family play. The property also offered plenty of beach chairs, a small table and even a paddle board for beach use, which is located directly across the street. There were bikes in the garage but did not have time to use as we wanted to take in the multiple decks with water views for cocktails with family and friends. The top deck offered a built in BBQ, large table for family dinners and chaises and additional outdoor furniture for evening socials.

The location is wonderful--convenient to the ocean, bay, and 2nd Street stores, restaurants, and night life. The property is large and comfortable and the attached garage is a real plus. It would have been helpful to have been given a bit more information about the property, either in a pre-stay email or through something inside the home. I really appreciate any insight into unusual appliances or something like a heads up that the microwave is in a closed cabinet. Took us a little while to find that one! It's also great to get restaurant suggestions, etc. The master bedroom is great--lovely room with large TV, elaborate bathroom with whirlpool and shower, and large walk-in closet. The other two bedrooms are really not. I would feel fine about having children in them, but felt uncomfortable that they were what I had to offer to adult children and friends. The beds are not real mattresses, pillows were uncomfortable, and the rooms were poorly furnished--just a dramatic step down from the master bedroom. The kitchen had most things you would need, though the appliances were well worn and a bit tricky. The upstairs deck was terrific with lovely views and a large grill. I hadn't noticed the pool table in the listing, but that was a fun addition! Overall we had a great stay, but I would be hesitant to stay here again with adult friends due to the dramatic disparity in the bedrooms.

Loved this place! Very cool design could use a few updates but other than that has everything you could possibly need in a perfect location .! Owner are great, quick with responses and even let us stay longer because we'll we didn't want to leave. The rooftop was amazing! Over all this will be my go to place in cali!

This was an amazing house with multiple levels and areas to hang out. We spent thanksgiving here with family and had plenty of space. The rooftop deck had the best views and was huge!!

This is our second stay at the proper. Once again, it was awesome. The property is perfect for our family and the location is hard to beat - whether it’s to the beach, the canal, or to Second Street. Highly recommend this house. Looking forward to a return visit.

We came for our annual football adventure, taking in games at the Colliseum, the Rose Bowl, and SoFi in one weekend. The place in Long Beach was a nice respite from the highways and stadium crowds. Enjoyed going out on 2nd Ave

We were here in advance of a cruise and thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations. Particularly liked the neighborhood. Location is excellent for access to restaurants and the beach. The unit is well outfitted with appliances and dishes. We recommend some maintenance and upgrades to some of the appliances including the bbq and dishwasher.

Home is quirky and fun. Lots of interesting uniqueness in the decor. Fun little hideout for the kiddos. Views are great. Enjoyed the pool table in the evenings. Heidi was easy to work with and very accommodating.

What an amazing place , plenty of room for two families , love the roof top views , easy access to the bay . Love that the street is closed down during the day . If we cone back to California we would visit again

Lovely home with all amenities needed. Perfect location to walk across the street to a lovely sandy beach in the bay... and down the block for the waves. Upper deck was so nice to have in addition to the rooms inside the home. There was no parking problem due to having access to the garage, which was heavenly. Host was easily contacted and helpful. Couldn't have been better. Thank you for sharing your home!

This house is amazing and the location is even better. I think this was the best home we’ve ever stayed at. I would definitely stay here again if we visit Long Beach.

Location was great. House had lots of room for everyone to hang out in different areas. Very unique characteristics to the place. Love it!!

From the second-story patio, you could see the bay to the left and the ocean to the right. There were many beautiful places to take a walk near the water. You could find great places to eat, shop, or get a drink within a short walk. The decor was eclectic and th3ere was a lot of space. We enjoyed having a barbeque on the roof and cooking in the kitchen. The master bedroom and bathroom were huge and very comfortable. You had to take a lot of stairs to get to the 2nd and 3rd floors. but it was worth it. We had fun playing pool, too.

Property manager was absolutely amazing…allowed for early check in and late check out. I finally got together with my sisters after too many years due to COVID. Perfect location to be by the water for kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and renting bikes. Thanks!!
