I didn't like the hotel steal my money

I arrived late at night but they sent me a code for the key locker automatically beforehand. The house is clean and quiet. I could walk to the city center. The room was large for one person.

Not clean toilet and their is no clean towels

Large spaces. very clean.

Not very central.

The room was very nice, the kitchen on the floor was a nice place to chill.

The problem was information imprecision: the room was said to be soundproof, it definitely wasn't. And the worst was that on the booking.com page, the time of check in is said to be 13:00-18:00 and that one should call the property 30 min before arrival. We tried to call shortly after 1pm, then wrote sms, then email, there was no answer. Then we arrived (13:40) there was someone from the personal telling us that the room will not be ready until 3pm. Then we got a call back from the hotel administration, we said that we arrived, she said that check in starts at 3pm, we pointed out the information on the webpage, and she simply said that it's not correct and we should come at 3 the earliest. At least we could leave our backpacks in the room, but there was no apology, and no acknowledgement of the mistake on their side. Such mistake can of course happen and it's not a big deal, but i don't like the approach of "you're bothering us with your problems which we don't care about". It spoiled the stay quite a bit, which is a pitty, because otherwise the facility is very nice and absolutely appropriate to the price.

It feels family friendly, a subtle sense of community.

Communication is a bit hard.

The Hansa house manages to have a good balance between a quiet but central location. Therefor it's the ideal spot for travelors who like to spend their time exploring Greifswald while having relaxed nights.

To do the hand over of the keys by putting them into an accessable Keysafe is a good idea while the pandemic times, but it lead to complications, because the combination an instructions for the safe was send via whatsapp(which i don't use at the moment) without further notification. So I wasted several hours trying to reach somebody via phone.
