The location is phenomenal, very close to the train station and the best Gelato in Reggio (cesare). The cleaning lady was super nice and the breakfast was ok. (Don't expect a whole lot, but a little snack and coffee with juice)

The water pressure at night is non existent(this is a general issue in reggio) compared to other places where they have water tanks, therefore you have to plan your shower ... AC/heat pump is Super dirty.. like black mold inside . The unit must be clean. If you have allergies or air sensitivity ,This is a big concern.specially with the heat and humidity in Reggio. The communication with the BnB owner could have been better on certain aspects (as for example when we had a problem with the main door that was broken, instead of finding a solution.. the first answer was : I can't do nothing even if I showup ( we ended up calling someone from another unit)..

balcony was very nice but we are non smokers and a dirty ashtray was still there. provisions in kitchen very basic. Being international and not have Italian phone coverage would. have been extremely difficult as we would not have been able th check in. it was lucky I had urgent business in Australia that day so I had international roaming on otherwise would have cost me $10 to make the phone call.

Amazing unit with a great location.

From the moment we met the host, everything exceeded our expectations. She was friendly and accommodating. The room was bright and clean, and just a block from the pedestrian shopping district, restaurants, and two blocks from parks and the beach. In addition to the sleeping area, a couch, refrigerator, and dining table was included.

Nice room with a lovely balcony and a beautiful view. Located in a perfect location in the center of town.

Our room (3) was very difficult to open. Communication with the host via the booking app was not the best which caused some stress with the payment. Did not seem to check messages on a regular basis. I recommend paying as soon as you can during your stay and everything will be fine.

RighePois is a great place to stay during a visit to Reggio Calabria. It's very conveniently located and very easy to get around. The balcony is a lovely place to just enjoy the vibrancy of the city.

At night you get a bit of noise from the bars downtown, but that's part of staying in a central area and it's not immediately underneath the apartment so it was not too much of an issue.

Good location and friendly host

The breakfast this B&B offering is not a breakfast - a cup of espresso and out of date merendine ( long shelf life pastries) - its better to go outside and have it on a local bar. The persiane (shutters) are broken in the main room and cannot therefore be closed. Some decorations are already broken, so beware accidentally touching them as they could dismantle in minutes.

Nicole is probably the best host I've ever met! The apartment was neat and tidy upon our arrival, she left us everything we needed for breakfast and even a little more, and was very responsive overall. On the day of our departure she even gave us a free ride to the airport :) As for the apartment itself, it was rather good, and a real gem for its price. It's located just a minute's walk from the central pedestrian street with lots of restaurants, bars, and stores, and within 10 minutes from the beach - you can see the seaside as soon as you leave the building. The bedroom is spacious and cozy, the kitchen isn't big but there's everything you might need to prepare your own meals there.

There are just three things I want to mention that you need to be aware of before going to RighePois: 1) The bathroom is a bit claustrophobic, you almost have to squeeze into the shower cabin - and I'm just an average guy. There also seems to be some problem with hot water specifically in the shower: in general, you have to wait until it warms up for a couple of minutes, but on the last day of our stay it just stayed cold, so the shower was a bit too refreshing. 2) The placement of shelves, ceiling lamps, and some other accessories is a little off: for example, I hit my forehead on the shelf right above the kitchen sink more than once. 3) The building is old, and there's a garbage bin right at the entrance, so naturally there are some cockroaches. Nicole is really doing her best to get rid of them, and we only saw them once, but the pests are there, unfortunately. Be prepared to see one or two if you stay for a prolonged time.
