I was in the separate bungalow so it was very quiet. Good shower with plenty of hot water for one person. Cheery decor. Comfortable bed. Nice walk from the parking area, next to an interesting museum (which mow costs 30 dirham, not 20). Nice view from the terrace where breakfast is served (for an extra 100 dirham).

One of the two windows was painted shut - would be nice to have the view from that window. Sheets felt like cheap cotton or polyester- comforter would have been better than sheet with blankets. But all in all, we’ll worth the price of the stay.

La maison traditionelle is a really magic place! You can feel all the energy from the valley! Property and services are really perfect! Food is amazing... I don't know if I'll have another possibility in my life to come back, so I'm really happy and grateful to having been here! Thanks for the amazing experience 😊

The house is in a beautiful old village with a wonderful view.

Very simple place, not very comfortable. Disappointing breakfast and diner.

The location is splendid with a view of the Amelne valley from the terrace and the surrounding pisé houses. Neighbour is the real Maison Traditionelle, from which the hotel has taken the name (same owners). The Maison Traditionelle is a an ethnographic museum showing traditional kitchen utensils, earthenware, carpets, fabrics, clothes. The hotel is 6 km from Tafraoute which is known for production of babouches and the starting point for reaching the beautiful Aït Mansour valley where palm trees are forming a canopy above your head.

No hot water for a day. Breakfast very traditional bread, jam, honey, a triangle cheese, yogurt, tea/coffee. There is very little light at night along the 300 m long stony path across the oued from the P-area to the house

It was a simple house, off-the-beaten track with basic facilities....just what we wanted. It was in a small village nestled into the hillside, with stunning scenery. The roof garden is lovely. Nice walks through the old part of the village, now mostly with deserted, crumbling houses. Next door is a Berber museum.

Google maps (using name) sent us on a false dirt track into the middle of nowhere. Use GPS co-ords.
