The place is amazing 😍 it's spacious, comfortable and spotless. Mr. Ulrich is extremely kind and pleasant person. The guesthouse is his family home and it's easy to feel how much he cherishes everything about it. It's relatively close to the center in a quiet place. The beds are comfortable and we slept like babies. Fresh bread and everything you need for a great breakfast were really good addition to the amicable service.

Really “perfect” stay: cleanliness of “hospital” standard, fantastic owner, who left full refrigerator of food for us, served table for breakfast like in nice restaurant, brought fresh bread in the morning. 10 of 10!

The Hosts nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast provided was exceptional especially the fresh rolls each morning. Honesty Bar lots to choose from.. Beautiful garden to relax in by the pool.

Great place to stay. Location near historic buildings you can visit. Extremely caring and attentive hosts. Breakfast was very tasty and varied. I will definitely recommend it to others and we will get back there again and I think more than once ;) Thank you!

The owners were very nice and helpful. Freshly baked bread for breakfast, yum! And thank you for the proper kitchen! Meissen Altstadt seems to only have German and Italian restaurants which get old fast. The fridge has everything you need for breakfast (unless you are vegan), yogurt, eggs, milk, cheese, cold cuts, butter, jam, juice, even some beer. A proper coffee maker with a decent coffee (it was even ok by my coffee-snob standards). The place was cleaner than clean, it felt like we were the first occupants ever. Location: NoOaks is located on a scenic route, which means that during the day you might hear occasional motorbikes and cars passing by, but during the night it is very quiet. The place is located a bit further away from most of the touristic attractions compared to other hotels in the area (about a 10-15 min walk), but the walk is very pleasant: under trees with a nice view. A huge bonus for us was the swimming pool, as we traveled during a hot summer weekend. Bonus round: we accidentally burned a hole in the bedspread, when we were ironing, and the owners were very sweet about it and did not charge us for it. Thank you!

Just a note for the owners, it took us 5 minutes to figure out how to open the door. FYI: After you touch the knob with touch key and the green light starts to flesh turn the knob clockwise. When it feels like it does not turn anymore turn it further with force and it will give.
