Leuke locatie, de kamer was comfortabel en de badkamer ook. Voor de badkamer moesten we wel even de hal doorsteken, maar voor ons geen probleem. En de gastvrijheid van de eigenaren is fantastisch. Aan alles is gedacht! Ook een heerlijk ontbijtje en aanbevelingen voor wandelingen.
Het matras was niet helemaal naar mijn smaak.

Hotel situated along rather busy road, even at night, so rooms on back side should be preferred if available.
Room #2 on road side was also very small with small and uncomfortable bed for 2 people. Bathroom had rather obsolete electric heater for the bath/shower and no hot water for the basin.

The property is very old and quaint and has loads of character . Excellent if you want to take the dogs. Very dog friendly.

Traditional breakfast and dinner was delicious! Great selection of whisky and profesional consultation. Communication with holders was great as well. Parking nearby.

We were welcomed to the White Stag by the owner who was very friendly and professional. It is clear that the present owners have made, and are continuing to make, a lot of improvements. Keep up the good work and preserve this gem in the Highlands.
Its a pity that the locals do not go to the White Stag more often.

What a great place to stay The owners are so helpful and welcoming
We arrived after a long journey and were made very welcome which was greatly appreciated They couldn't do enough for us. Parking is easy too which was good after such a long journey
The beer is great and there is an excellent selection of whiskeys
We had a really nice room v comfortable room Huge bed
V nice breakfast too

A lovely bedroom with excellent facilities and thoughtful touches such as a fridge and a caffetiere with proper ground coffee in the room. We took our dog with us and found a dog bed, bowl and a small box of treats in the room too, another thoughtful touch not found elsewhere. Definitely the most dog-friendly place we have ever stayed. Mark and Audrey are exceptional hosts and can't be faulted. There's a well stocked bar and everything was scrupulously clean.
There is not much to dislike about the White Stag, though rooms at the front are subject to a bit of traffic noise, which is undersandable as the inn is on a main road (we had to keep the window open as it was a very warm night).

Great room in a stunning location in small village of Strathyre. Owners couldn't have been more accommodating after we arrived rather late on our cross country cycle. Absolutely delicious, and much needed, evening dinner served and provided us a breakfast tray to enable us to make an early start the next day.

We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was spacious with a private bathroom. Dog friendly. A large bar area with a great selection of drinks and the bar food was superb, highly recommend the "Big Ma(r)k Burger"
Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Audrey is a bubbly host and can't do enough for you, and Mark made us a fantastic Full Scottish.

Perfect for our 1 night stay doing the nc500. Room was a bit small for 3 but it was only for a night so its fine. Really enjoyed the pub and variety of drinks and friendly and helpful staff.

We had a lovely two-night stay at the Stag Inn. Myself, my wife, and my Dog. Audrey and Mark showed outstanding customer service throughout the weekend. The room was lovely and clean. They couldn't have been more accommodating.
The food in the restaurant was really delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a lovely, relaxed stay at the White Stag. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and accommodating. We stayed with our dog and we really appreciated all of the extra touches in place for her (dog bed in room, treats, welcome in bar). Room was very comfortable and lovely atmosphere in the bar.
