This was our first stay in this area and it is so peaceful and relaxing. You can see the lake from the house and it's only a 3-5 minute walk with a path going along the lake as well as boat docks where you can sit. Tennis courts are a 3 minute walk from the house. We rode bikes, walked, walked, walked and just enjoyed our family. Kathleen was very helpful with all of our questions and even booked my son and husband a tee time. The area is beautiful and the house is great!

We loved this location and well appointed vacation home. It had everything we needed to feel at home and more. The beds were super comfortable and the fireplace and master bath were special features. They had everything we needed and more. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time having morning coffee on the screened in porch overlooking the golf course. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there’s a well equipped kitchen. It’s a very comfortable house and there are lots of golf/lake activities in the area. Very peaceful and quiet street and an excellent location close to shopping and golf, and lake activities.

Great Waters Lake Oconee is a special place, beautiful and peaceful. We had a great time hostessing family and friends in this lovely, cozy cottage. We couldn't have more pleased and will definitely be back. Kathleen and Jeff were great hosts!!!

My family and I truly enjoyed Kathleen's home!!! The house is even more beautiful in person. There were refreshments in the refrigerator for us and she even left a gift for us under the Christmas tree. The neighbors were very friendly and welcomed us when they saw us walking through the neighborhood. Any questions we had were quickly answered. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for a wedding in the neighborhood. When not at the venue, it was nice to have a nearby cozy home to stay in with some of our friends. The owner is amazing at helping out any way she can and the house is beautiful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kathleen's property. We've been to the great waters area before and found it very accommodating for our young family. Its a 3 min walk to the little beach, the lake docks and the pool, not to mention the picturesque hole #9 out the back door. The house itself was very spacious and accomodated our family of 5 very well. It could easily house two families with the way it is setup. Very clean and tidy with charm. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and might be back again next year!

Kathleen, the owner, was just the best. She even reached out before our stay to make sure we had all the check in information. She again checked in during our stay. I can't say enough about how nice it was and all the amenities in the house. We cannot wait to come back!

Kathleen was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with, and upon arriving at the home we were thrilled with all the small thoughtful touches that made it a comfortable and enjoyable few days. Games for kids, beds as comfy as home, CLEAN, and all of the kitchen utensils/tools you could ever need. We’d gladly return anytime!!

This home is better than the photos! It is beautiful, clean and comfortable. So nice to have comfortable seating in the den, even though we spent most of our time on the screen porch. The kitchen was very well stocked. The master suite is luxury! And for our girls weekend having 2 queen beds in both of the rooms upstairs was very nice. Kathleen was an exceptional host. She was easily accessible with questions and information. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you Kathleen for sharing your sweet home!

We found out on Sunday that we were being forced to evacuate due to Hurricane Dorian. After looking at some places, we settled on this property and Kathleen responded to us immediately, she worked with us on our check-in and check-out times to accommodate us the best she could. The home was spectacular and comfortable, with everything we needed for two families with kids to stay. It was a very short walk over to the lake to swim and fish with the kids and there is even a marina where you can rent a boat if you choose. We will definitely use them again!

We had a fantastic weekend getaway for the whole family. The home is beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. The shower in the master bath is spa quality! The water is walking distance and the golf course is in the back yard. Great communication with the owner. A+ Experience!
