This is the second time my family and I have stayed at this house. I hope there is a third time in the future. The house is in a great location, and is the perfect size for my family.

There is lots to do within walking or short driving distance of the house - several different beautiful beaches for swimming and kayaking as well as a nice town with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. Very family friendly area that satisfied my husband, our two teen age sons and their friends, and myself. Several other beaches and towns are within an hour's driving distance and the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket is just a few minutes from the house. The house was comfortable for our group of six with a very well equipped kitchen for cooking at the house. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

The street is quiet and the backyard is private and relaxing. The location is very convenient to town and the many beaches.

We stayed in this home for out family vacation. House is exactly as described. Beautiful private backyard. Neighborhood is safe. I loved how close the Craigville Beach was to the house. Main street is very close as well.

My partner and I and our 4 teenage children lived our stay in this beautiful home on Cape Cod. It was minutes from the beaches and downtown Hyannis. The location is terrific, situated in a delightful neighborhood, a quick drive into Hyannis and surrounding Barnstable towns, and an easy walk or drive to the beach. The house, deck and grounds were roomy for family and friends to visit and enjoy. The Cape's wonderful restaurants, ice cream places and other amenities are within easy reach. An excellent rental opportunity.

We loved the location! It was centrally located with easy and quick car access to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The house was very clean and the owner was super quick in responding to any questions.

Very central to activities in Hyannis. Quiet neighborhood. House is very pretty with comfortable layout; just needed an ottoman or two in the living room. Gas stove in the well-appointed kitchen was a plus. Only real disappointment was lack of pool access. Closest pool was several blocks away and have to pay to use.

We spent a very nice time in this property. Great location.

We just got back from our stay at Gene's home, and I already want to go back. Staying there was like visiting a friend's home without the need to actually have the friend there :) The house is spotless and comfortable. We are a family aged from 4-60's, and everyone enjoyed staying/playing games/cooking dinner/watching movies on the amazing tv. We saw rabbits and chipmunks and bluejays and cardinals. We went candlepin bowling and to the car museum and the carousel and to 2 arcades. And the house is close enough that I ran to the beach every day to play and fly our kite. We will definitely try to stay again next year, and I know it will book up fast because it's truly a wonderful house that is really your HOME when you stay there. Thank you so much, Gene!

This home was very clean and exactly as described. It is about 2 miles (or less) from the Craigville Beach (great beach) and the owners provide a beach pass. The home is in a quiet neighborhood which provided quiet, peaceful mornings on the back deck with your coffee! Smallish back yard, but home is very convenient to the town of Hyannis, Melody Tent, larger grocery shopping venues, and road to Falmouth. It is in the western part of Hyannis but very near to the harbor. We would definitely recommend this home-fully supplied with towels, kitchen supplies, etc. No negatives here-

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was in a nice location close to all of the shops and beaches. The amenities inside the home were great. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. There were games and puzzles available for the kids. The rooms were spacious for everyone and there were plenty of spaces for people to be away from one another. The back deck was wonderful and a great place to hang out at the end of the day. Gene, the owner, checked in with us at the beginning of the trip and was easily accessible if we needed it. There were really no negatives, other than a suggestion. Since we were not coming from a close by place (Chicago), we had to purchase towels for the beach and then ended up just leaving them in the house. It seemed silly for us to pack an entire suitcase with 4 towels and to pay the fee for baggage. I would recommend the owner provide towels for guests (especially for those traveling across the country). We highly recommend this place! We truly enjoyed our time in Cape Cod!

Property was in good condition, other than some small concerns with outdoor shower in need of good clean out, master bed headboard needing replacement/repair and back door to deck sticking badly. House is in good location within long walk to town and short drive to a few nice beach options. Town has great shops and dining options. Owner is very responsive and attentive. Overall good value option in good location

Traveling 3000 miles with 3 kids was made fun and easy with this experience. This property is located on a quiet street and has a large front yard and a large private back yard, we found turtles and bunnies out there daily. The outdoor shower is great for rinsing off sand on the kids after a long day and we loved the kid friendly quiet neighborhood. The house provided everything and more to make our vacation comfortable and convenient, from beach toys to beaches passes, this home had it all. We enjoyed being close to the Cape Cod Melody Tent and took the kids to a concert on our second night there. I have to mention the amazing central air conditioning that kept us all cool and happy, this added a huge level of satisfaction! The property is close to beaches, great dining, shops, and provides easy access to other parts of The Cape. .We can’t wait to come back! Thank you guys!

The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. I went down with my husband, our three yr old and my parents. Also, my two older children came down for a night. The house accommodated all of us comfortably. We were a short distance from Craigville beach in which we spent the day. The beach passes saves you $20.00 in parking, thank you Gene. In regards to Gene: he is so nice to work with. He is so kind and personable. Also, he responds to your emails promptly which helps with any questions you may have. Gene has everything covered especially when it comes to activities. He provides you an email with a lot of info and tips in regards to various activities for the family. I carried a copy of that email in my purse wherever we went, lol. That same information is posted at the house in case you misplace the original info. My family and I couldn't be any happier with the choice we made in renting his home. My mom even wanted to know if the house was for sale as she loved it so much. My husband felt right at home. We will be back again if you will have us. Our first Cape Cod house rental and house rental in general was an excellent experience.Thank you Gene for all of your hospitality! The home totally says "Cape Cod" in its appearance and warm atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were both spacious and cozy. Everyone felt quite at home, especially me! I was thrilled to find that there was actually a cabinet filled with pots and pans, pyrex bowls and baking dishes and all of the little extras that a chef can appreciate. Needless to say, I did spend some time taking advantage of the kitchen. I would like to thank the owners for that. Although ample air-conditioning was provided throughout the home, we found that we did not need to use it that much. We enjoyed the nice cool evening breezes through the doors leading out to the deck. As for the outdoor space, again, it was wonderful. The deck was large; the grill was great; a nice, quiet wooded area in the back to enjoy the serenity. We looked forward to seeing the rabbits every afternoon, especially my three year old grandson. I would like to thank the owners for everything. It was a pleasure working with them throughout the entire process from start to finish.

Property is well maintained, lots of room for a family gathering. Lots of parking. Except for beech towels and food, everything is supplied including cable TV and WiFi. Large deck with seating for at least 8 was the favorite hangout area. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and rent again if I have the opportunity. Dave T., Sarasota, FL

Very nice home, maintained perfectly inside and out. We used it to house our employees while doing a project in Hyannis for 5 months. The owner was flexible and cooperative with us, very professionally operated. I look forward to doing business again with Gene and recommend his home for anyone looking to stay close to beaches and activities in Hyannis!

Nice home. It slept six of us. We sampled the local Barnstable beaches (free with owner's pass). We started at Kalmus Beach and although very scenic, there was a lot of seaweed and very rocky / shelly area for wading. We tried others, but concluded that we liked Craigsville Beach best. Great sand and large area to share with the other locals. The house is well equipped and the room air conditioners in each of the room were adequate considering that I get hot very easily. We would stay again. Make sure to do the Whale Watch tour if you have not done one - it was fantastic since the whales appears to use the boat as a "backscratcher" -- yes, they get that close.

Just came back from a week at the Cape. Loved the property. The cul de sac allowed my toddlers to ride their scooters/bikes without fear of oncoming traffic. Home was fully stocked with all the necessary cutlery, pots/pans, plates, etc. Communication with the owner was seamless and very efficient. Response time to emails was usually within 1-2 hours. Instructions were very clear. Great recommendations on mini golf, bike trail, restaurants, etc. Convenient location to downtown Hyannis/Main Street and only 5mins away from Craigville beach - which we loved. You can't go wrong with this rental!

I can't say enough about this home and how lovely it truly was. We came to the Cape with 3 different families (including 3 little ones 4 and under). This was an absolutely perfect home to accommodate all of us. The house was stocked with everything we needed (including the perfect beach gear), it was spacious, and clean. Gene is extremely easy to work with, reliable, quick to respond, and takes pride in his rentals (which shows through in the property!). The neighborhood is quiet, which makes you feel like you've actually moved in yourself. The house is close to everything, especially downtown Hyannis, which is full of wonderful shops and restaurants. It was a truly enjoyable experience!

This is a beautiful property.. Neat and clean with great owners! The home is super close to the Main Street which has some beautiful stores and restaurants.. It's also peaceful and a perfect vacation getaway for anyone who needs a break from the city life! super comfortable.. I can concur with the reviews that are listed here. The place is great, and matches the feedback provided overall. The problem I'm having it is now nearly a month after our rental, and we haven't received return of our deposit, despite meeting all requirements of the contract. In communication the owner did mention that there were personal issues that were delaying the return of our deposit, despite that fact that we're beyond the agreed upon contract terms my wife and I were trying to be reasonable. But I don't think it's fair to still not have our deposit returned now that we're so far beyond our rental date. The owner was very pleasant to work with on the front end, but our patience is wearing thin. I'm giving 3 stars because the place is great, but because of this issue (which is still unresolved as of 10/4), I can't go higher. And my wife thinks I'm being generous. All I can say is buyer beware.

I recently stayed here with a few girlfriends. The house was spotless when we arrived and the owner's instructions were clear and helpful. We were even given the Wifi password. There were plenty places to sleep and two full bathrooms. The beach and downtown Hyannis is very close! We were easily able to walk or get cabs to many restaurants and bars. This property is perfect for a Cape vacation with family or friends!
