Although the apartment was a self-catering one, Alessia, the owner, very kindly left some breakfast items and milk, water and juice to get us started. She was very friendly and helpful, as was her husband. We were well placed for getting by car to Agrigento to see the wonderful Temples and Garden, but also for walking to local attractions like Scala dei Turchi and Lido Rossello. We also drove further south to Ragusa and further north to Sciacca. Some handy local shops in Realmonte, well stocked « Conad » supermarket, with helpful staff, and a brilliant baker with fantastic cakes! Lots of nice swimming places, too. By the time we left, the sea was a very good temperature, having been a bit chilly when we arrived.

Nothing. This was our first trip to Sicily. We had fabulous weather. It was hotter than expected (30+ on some days in late May), but usually with a breeze, so bearable.

This property was beyond clean and ready. Alessia was the perfect host - so friendly and helpful. However - booking told me I was “pre-paid” and when we were about to leave Alessia told us it was “cash only”. There were two problems 1. We didn’t have cash so my partner needed to find a cash machine and we were on a schedule 2. There was NO notification of this. So I would love to give this place a perfect score but I can’t. I would recommend that the owner contact every customer directly to tell them this in advance. Apparently this has happened many times. She’s so nice and sweet. I just wish I knew about this in advance.

Andrea and Alessia are wonderful hosts making us feel so welcome. Even the language barrier was not a problem. Nice comfortable apartment. We had the swimming pool to ourselves.

Location is a bit far out from main attractions.

The Residence was an entire apartment which was very clean & comfortable & well priced. The host was welcoming & friendly. Short drive to Scala de Turkey.
