Wonderful trulli very close to the town center. Beautifully renovated, very comfortable and stylish, and perfectly clean. Equally wonderful is the hospitality of Anna Maria. Breakfast is prepared fresh every morning from typical local products which she buys in nearby stores. All in all a perfect stay in Alberobello and a strong recommendation for Astra B&B.

Wonderful! You won’t find a better place to stay in an authentic trulli. Walk 2 minutes through the quaint streets to reach town, quiet, fabulous traditional local breakfast served in a beautiful garden with 300 year old olive trees! Pleasant hostess who makes you feel like family !

Property was extremely clean and confortable. The truli was extremely special and very large! It was right in the middle of the city and walking distance to everything!

Loved everything about these beautiful trulli houses, Annamaria is a fantastic host, she told us lots of interesting facts over a Prosecco and the breakfast was outstanding with fresh local produce. and coffee. The fittings and decor of the trulli was high end and had everything you need, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The beautiful garden and ancient olive trees was stunning and breakfast in the garden was just beautiful! A fantastic experience! ❤️

The actual experience to sleep in a trullo and location in the village is very good. The place is modern and clean. However, although the place itself is a peaceful location you do hear the church every 15/30 min even during the night. The breakfast timing wasn't made fully clear to us upon arrival, but althoght the first morning we were a bit late, the owner is still provide is with breakfast.

As advised the offer of the breakfast is changing every day. However the expectation of the basics like fresh fruit or yougurt was not available. In case you want it, advised the owner in advance, no in the same morning, as I did because there wasnt available. The only fresh constant offer was the local mozarella (instead of puglia burrata) and cured meat. The salty pies were quite heavy and not very healthy. The sweet options, like croissants there were package not from from a fresh bakery or handmade (this is usually what you can expect from Italian bed&breakfast) If you want your room to be clean and made you need to leave before 11 and advised the owner that you are leaving. Otherwise you will end up in our situation where even that we leave the room before 11 as our supruse the room was not done, because we did not advised the owner we were leaving to visit the city. I would have expect that who ever cleans would have checked the room. The reply from the owner when we discover at our return around 5pm that the room was not done, was that we needed to advised to her that we were leaving and they can make the room. Our comments and feedback are based on regular business and pleasure travelling within italy (as we live in Italy). Hope this feedabck helps travellers and the owner as the current high rating is  inflated against expectations.

Anna Marie was a great hostess. Nothing was too difficult. She organised a park outside the gate on our arrival. Coffee at different times of day. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend.

it’s partly the experience of staying in a Trulli with so much history. the property is very nice, very clean, comfortable, and walking distance to everything we need in town. Anna Maria is truly one of a kind. She even took the time to show us around town to get our bearings. it’s very personalized, and we’re treated like her own family being introduced to her friends around town. She hooked us up too with a guide when we went to a nearby town of Matera, which was inexpensive and a true delight. This property is so historic that it’s the home of multiple trees over 100 years that is being protected and monitored by the city. The trees are visibly included in their tourist maps

there’s really not to like. I even accidentally left the property umbrella while dining in a different city, and Anna Maria didn’t care.

The location is great, in the centre of the town. The trulli are a piece of jewellery, with all the comfort you can expect to have. Anna Maria, the host, is the best, always helpful and providing amazing tips on what to visit in town and nearby. Breakfast was just fabulous.

I absolutely have no words to describe the extraordinary experience we've had in Astra, with Maria Anna the best host I ever met. The place is unique, extremely cozy, spotless, gorgeous garden, very comfortable bed, heated floor, breakfast was fantastic! Maria Anna goes out of the way to satisfy the guests. Such a warm and pleasant woman! The b&b is located in the perfect spot, close by foot to all the interesting zones of the special village - Alberobello. We loved it so much! We wil definitely be back!

Location within the the main restaurant & store neighborhood, but on a very quiet street to secure a good sleep on an excellent bed and waking up like you lived 150 -200 years ago with all the present day amenities. Anna Maria prepares an excellent breakfast with local specialties of focaccia’s, hams, burrata and outstanding pastries and fresh coffees. It’s a privilege to stay here.

We've spent a wonderful time in the Astra Trullo, it is very centrally located in Alberobello with a wonderful garden, very quite and very clean. Anna Maria is a very nice and helpful host and did everything to feel us like home. It is highly recommended!

Everything was perfect!

It is like going to a "friend's house" (but most probably, cleaner). The hospitality was like no other place (or person). Our "friend" Anna Maria went out and beyond of what is expected from a host, and we are eternally grateful for that. p. s. When you stay at Astra, you will understand the "friend" reference (better)

A serene, magical place right in the center of Alberobello with the most amazing hostess willing to help with everything.

Anna Maria is a dedicated and passionate host and the trulli are amazing, really well equipped and super comfortable. Breakfast was a delicious mix of local produce. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to stay here if you want an authentic stay in Alberobello.
