A very clean and spacious common area. The shared bathroom was very clean too. The kitchen was vell equipped. The hosts were helpful and friendly.

All the interior and furniture was high quality. Hotel seems to be in a remote place, but just couple minutes of walk and you are in one of the most beautiful small Portuguese towns. Narrow streets, nice restaurants and not so crowded as in other tourist towns.
Maybe I am just not used to self check-in, but you have to like all the codes, keys and instructions before getting in your room. I got lectured over the phone for being late for check-in, although I kept texting that I am running late (well, I am in Portugal to enjoy myself, not to organise meeting with hotel staff). You also have to like sharing with other people, as bathroom is shared with other apartment and TV and rest area is also a shared place for several rooms. We didn't see other people, but we didn't go to rest area neither.

Cool people - helpful, and friendly - and they also have good surfing tips - great location to get around Burgau and als away from Lagos which is too busy, and too much of a "High Street Party Crowd", easy access to Beaches.
High Season pricing - for the level you get is a bit extreme here in the region, but it is what is.

There are only 2 beds in the room.
The village is so pretty!!
No privacy bed (I ve got like with the girl so respectful)

The hosts were very polite, warm & engaging; great value for money, rooms were very spacious, clean.

Room was good, beds comfy, bathroom lovely, location good and Burgau a nice little town with lovely beach, bars and restaurants. Communication was excellent. This area was generally expensive for accomodation, and Aloha offered a more affordable option on the hiking trail.

Would of been nice not to share bathroom, maybe an on suite would be better. Then I guess the price would go up.

We were very lucky to get the last room as we needed safehouse from a bad thunderstorm. The hosts are very friendly and they have the cutest dog Fiji. The house feels very cozy, the room was very comfortable and bathroom clean.

Owners really accomodating . We arrived on bicycles a bit earlier than agreed check-in time .Very hot day . Although off-site., organised to check us in earlier. Relaxed, clean & well organised . Enjoyed company of house dog, Fiji. When due to leave it was pouring with Rain. Again Rita sent an early morning message advising we could take bicycles on bus to Lagos . Even prepared to help us get our bicycles and luggage on bus . We decided to cycle but touched by concern and preparedness to go the extra mile.

It was a really warm and welcoming athmosphere where we felt home.
We couldn't have wished for a better stay during our holiday in Portugal.
