The lady I spoke with was very nice and had everything clean and comfortable. The pool on the property was great. And shower was very nice.

I thought I booked a room with a bigger bed and the pillows were really flat. I also thought no one else was staying there for some reason, so I didn't expect other people at the pool with us. Other than that it was a great location and place to stay for the price!

The apartment is so nice and spacious. The beds are massive and very comfortable. The pool was perfect temperature and the owners that live above were very helpful. Wi-Fi was also great. Cannot recommend enough.

The location was perfect. They are right across the street from the beach, boardwalk, shops and restaurants. We borrowed their beach chairs & towels and lounged on the beach, sat by their pool, rode their bikes to Turtle Inn for dinner, walked up & down the boardwalk/beach and enjoyed every minute. We traveled with our 2 adult children and appreciated that we could rent the main floor with 2 rooms and also the studio downstairs so we could each have our own space. It was safe to drink the tap water which was a bonus. The kitchen & bathroom had plenty of counter space and everything we needed. The balcony & decks have hammocks, tables, chairs and several places to relax in the shade of their palm trees. Phil & Megan who live on the top floor were so sweet & answered all of our questions. They also created a booklet on the coffee table with important information about the area as well as a list of their favorite restaurants. We tried several of them and especially loved Tutti Frutti gelato, Barefoot Bar, and Tipsy Tuna. We highly recommend staying here!

The location is walking distance to both the lagoon and the ocean - also close to all the restaurants. Our room had a very nice screened in porch. The room was on the first floor but all the windows had decorative bars which made you feel safe leaving open and/or sleeping with them open. Very nice stove and refrigerator if you want to cook. Nice pool to cool off. Bikes are available. Nice walk in shower. Very friendly owners live on site. Reasonably priced.

Nothing bad I could say about this property.

Great location right in the center of Placencia, Belize. We stayed in the one bedroom and it was fully equipped with everything we needed for our week long stay. The unit had much needed air conditioning units in both the living room and bedroom. There was grocery store across the street and all of our tours/expeditions started from a company located right next door. This is an awesome location with restaurants, bars and beach all in throwing distance.

There literally wasn't anything not to like.

Great host! Very comfortable. Spent four weekends in Placencia and driftwood was my favourite place. Great value for money.

Our hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The location is perfect and the studio was very clean and comfortable. We could use their laundry machine, which was great.

The location was excellent as it was close to everything (bars, restaurants, supermarket) and within walking distance. It was very comfortable and it had everything that you needed in the kitchen. The homemade sourdough bread was a nice surprise! I definitely would stay here again.

It was very clean and owners were friendly

It was advertised as an apartment thinking it was more spacious than it was. And I thought it was on the beach but that was my fault. Shower did not have hot water it was Luke warm.

This was probably one of the best vacations we’ve been on. Phil and Megan were so friendly and very helpful. The property was close to everything and we walked everywhere.

We couldn’t do much at the beach due to the seaweed

The staff were wonderful. We enjoyed the free bikes so that we could get around the village quickly. There was a grocery store right across the street. Sitting by the pool was very relaxing and pleasant.

We chose the studio room and were sorry we didn't get a large unit. It was quite small. I would stay again but would get something larger for sure.

The place was very nice. There were bikes available, which made my stay much easier, as getting around was not a problem. The host also shared some homemade bread when I arrived, which I really enjoyed. Kayaking was def my highlight.

. The guest house was located in the heart of the village with bars , restaurants and shops nearby. The hosts Phil and Cath where great hosts and flexible when we wanted to change our booking slightly. Nice plunge pool to keep cool Good air con, TV and shower and hammock. The room came with lots of kitchen equipment if you wanted to cook for yourself including fridge

Everything was lovely! Super close to all bars,stores, and 7 min from the airport. The bikes places downstairs were really convenient, make sure you take them for a ride! We didn’t use the pool much, that was because we were at the beach so much, but really really beautiful. The house is so comfortable and very clean. The owners didn’t bother us much at all, and when we did see them they always asked whatever we needed. very pleasant. 💕

A superb place to stay with amazing hosts. We had a last minute change of travel plans and so booked here with about 90 minutes notice. Phil and Megan had the room ready for when we arrived and it was spotless. They have thought of every little detail and made everything as easy as can be. For value for money and quality Driftwood Gardens cannot be faulted. The bed was nice and comfortable and the area was quiet so a good night's sleep wasn't difficult at all. The fastest internet we had found so far on our travels too! Definitely a place to recommend.

Excellent accommodation, location and facilities. The staff were available by message the whole time and really helped me out with the bus times.
