It was the best home in all my travels. One view from the window or from the terrace decides everything. The house is very cozy, it has everything you need for a rest. 2 spacious rooms, one "children's", the living room is large and cozy with views of the sea from all sides. Access to the sea 👍 Accessibility in 10 minutes on foot to the center and 20 minutes to the train station. Arturo is a very warm and pleasant man. Always in touch. Organized a bbq with no problems complete with everything. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the surprise when we returned from a walk in Taormina. It was my birthday and Arturo left goodies on the table with congratulations. We liked everything, recommend!!!

The location was great, so close to so many places! We picked the area because of its proximity to areas we could do day trips to visit, and it indeed was very convenient. The house itself is stunning - it's HUGE and has this wonderful old-school charm to it with vintage furniture and furnishings. We had THREE private terraces, including a gigantic private rooftop. The house literally is the furthest one out on the cliff we were one, so every other house had us in their pictures :-) The view was incredible, so much so that we actually canceled our plans one day and just hung out there, watching the boats and waves and drinking Aperol spritzes :-) It was that good! Also, it's a few minute walk from this great seafood restaurant that blew us away. The host also was very responsive, answering Whatsapp texts immediately and helping us with a lot of stuff in general.

Parking is a real issue, not just a mild nuisance. There is no parking on the property, and the only nearby option is a short strip of road. The problem is that, when it's full, we literally have nowhere to go. Once we had to spend over 30 minutes in a non-parking area, just waiting for someone to leave so we could take the space. Our stay was wonderful and we have amazingly positive memories, so this is not a deal-breaker, but guests do need to be made aware that this is an unusual situation. Another issue, also not a deal-breaker, is that the hot water is limited. Basically, it's enough for one person to take a comfortable shower, and it takes a while to recharge, so if you have two or more people, you might have to stagger the shower schedule where one takes one at night and one in the morning.
