Best breakfast abroad we have had

The villa was 5 star, everything we needed for a wonderful week. The views were exceptional and the pool area emaculate. The staff at the 19th Hole were so helpful and friendly and the food was fabulous

Great location far enough away from the busy parts, but close enough for supermarkets, restaurants and bus routes. 19th hole had great food and situated right next to golf course. You don't need to play golf to enjoy this place. Staff at 19th hole very friendly. Nice pool, would stay again.

Very spacious and well equipped

we stayed for 10 days in villa 6 views were amazing, the all round terrace was brilliant, we usually struggle sleeping abroad, but the air conditioned bedroom and exceptionally comfortable beds meant we had no problem at all, loved being adjacent to the golf course and marina, the 19th hole is connected to the accommodation, the service, and friendliness of the staff was brilliant, beautiful food at good prices, and beer from 2 euros a pint was a pleasant surprise. Marcos the owner and Bene the manager could not be more helpful, a special thank you to Sebastian who drove to san blas and picked us up when we struggled to get a taxi home. 10 out 10 for me confidently recommend this accommodation to any one.

The hosts at the 19th Hole - I wanna book again

Excellent location, near the golf and ocean. Lovely attitude from hosts. Beautiful apartment and view to ocean, golf and mountains too.

We loved the apartment and the host is very friendly. We travel a lot and stay in very different apartments all over Tenerife including Golf del Sur. But this penthouse is really special because of its stunning colorfull view to the ocean, harbor, golf courses, mountains, Teide. And there is a wonderful view from the bedroom as well. We enjoyed every sunrise with a cup of coffee and every sunset with the glass of wine. There is also a huge sunbed on the terrace where you can sunbathe and meditate on stars. The beds are comfortable, the kids' room is a little a bit small though. The kitchen equipped with new furniture and all necessary stuff for cooking and dining including grill and toster! We would love to come back to this apartment one day. And without a doubt we recommend it for everybody who is looking for the best views of Tenerife.

The apartment space, 4 separate bedrooms, 3 shower rooms, lovely pool (cold in October) with a fantastic bar and restaurant. Staff great. Beautiful views over the golf course. Vast terrace / balcony space for daytime lounging. Secure key entry from main road or via restaurant.

Only the living room air con worked. The bedrooms 2 units didn’t work at all. We tried to get them fixed, the motor was to be replaced the next morning but sadly it never was. No one came back. The beds were comfortable to lie on but we were all too warm and restless through the night. Our son took his bed in to the living room for the last 4 nights to try to get some sleep. 2 of our outdoor doors didn’t lock at all. (Main bedroom & 2nd bedroom) As we were 3 floors up this didn’t concern us too much but it would be an easy fix. I would be reluctant to put young children in them. We were advised by our neighbours that someone had attempted to get in to their lower apartment door one morning at 5am. Access to the pool and apartment area from the golf course would be easy.

It is a roomy and modern apartment with a large terrace with a wide view of the ocean and El Teide. We enjoyed our breakfast outside. The beds were good and the Wifi Excellent. Airco in the living room and master bedroom. Free parking and always enough space. For us this was very important because in a lot of places parking is difficult. It lies in a quiet area. We had a nice stay overall.

It is nice and modern looking but the finishing of the complex and apartment is questionable. Everywhere you look it looks like cheap labour was used. Also things like table tops were damaged. It took away a bit of the luxurious idea we had of the apartment. Also when we arrived there was clearly no effort put in the presentation. Lounger mattresses were flung in the living room, some cleaning equipment just lying around on the terrace. The terrace plants that were in the pictures are gone. Also a mess of cables hanging under a nice white TV. We've had better first impressions. Functionally all is not a problem but it is just missing that final touch. It has more potential we felt. Keep in mind that it is close the airport so a lot of planes flying over closely. For us this was not a problem. The terrace is very windy and no shade from midday. We used it mainly in the morning. The bathroom is in direct sunlight and gets very hot in the morning since there is no sun screen or anything. We needed to shower early. All in all we had a great stay but for the price we expected just a bit more.

We are frequent guests to the Amarilla area and it was our first time staying at the Amarilla Golf Villas. We enjoyed the whole complex and especially loved the apartment, as it offers exactly the view we fell in love with some years ago: blue ocean, green golf course and the white sails of boats moored at the marina…. a sight even more enjoyable from “19th hole” restaurant when sipping a drink or two. The terrace with its sun loungers is great to capture the sunrise and enjoy a book as well. Golf-aficionados will appreciate the direct view at the (formerly 13th, now 16th) green and to evaluate the skill of approach shots and putts. AGV is a great homebase to explore the vicinity within walking distance (e.g. SanBlas or even Los Abrigos along the scenic coastal boardwalk) and is neighbored to a good selection of other bars and restaurants and smaller supermarkets. Reservation process and associated communication with Jon was swift and friendly and surely a big shout-out to the whole local staff is highly deserved: all were welcoming and really caring to give us a brilliant time there! Apartment was clean, bed was comfy and WiFi was superb, so the essentials were covered .

Other reviews already mention some imperfections and yes, not everything in each corner is as glitzy and shiny as the confident homepage shows. Massive free space in the apartment but we wished it would be more cleverly used, so to avoid that all personal stuff is cramped on just a few spots (to quote my wife: “no woman was involved in the practical design of bathroom/kitchen”). Warm water will not arrive the second you open the tap, but that’s a common thing at many places. Kitchen is fully equipped to enable self-catering, but it features different styles of cutlery, plates and glasses instead of offering them all of a piece.

An outstanding view and a great, helpful staff

We loved the balcony and the view over the golf course, the marina and the ocean was exceptional, kitchen was lovely and furniture was very comfortable. Having a shower and still being able to watch the golf was amazing.

The apartment had some damage eg skirting in bathroom, the doors from living room to balcony did not lock. The oven was too high up, I had to stand on chair to reach, and carrying hot food was dangerous. We were never given fresh towels or linen during our 11 day stay.

Everything was great. Nice apartment, a lot of place. Nice hosts. Good equipment.

A little bit cold water in pool but not a big problem.
