It was a super lovely guesthouse run by a family. They were very accomodating, for extra fee let us check out later. We did not know which room we ordered but the offered us private one on ground floor with pretty private access, little terrace and view directly to the sea, which was no more than 10m away.

Everything was great! One thing to keep in mind is that over years the sea part of the beach was washed away and now majority of hotels with access to beach have more a view to sea, than actual beach area

I stayed at three different places on this particular trip. Hong Di was the best location and for the money it was hands down the best deal of my trip so far. The food was very good and very good value here too. Staff was polite and relatively helpful and I was quite comfortable and enjoyed my couple of weeks here. The place is close to a few places to rent Windsurfing equipment but the water is very rough and its not the easiest place to launch for that sport. Kite Surfers have a much better choice too for rental locations. As far as food and massages the place is close to quite a few good places. I will probably be back next year for two months here, its really very convenient and for the Wind and Surf crowd its very very convenient!!!

The beach in front can get a little bit grungy, but the tide tends to wash it away generally...
