Good basic bach, space a little tight inside if more than 4 people but sleep out was clean and tidy. Quite an awkward driveway if you have a big car or more than 1 car. Nice big deck but should have a railing to keep toddlers from falling. Great to take the dogs.

Instead of buying presents for my many grandchildren this year i booked a bach for a memorable experience. Each family had a week with me at the beautiful whangamata beach. We all loved it. Thankyou to the owners for having us.

Fantastic - quiet - and relaxing stay.
Limited turning area for parking - trees could be trimmed to provide larger area.
Bathroom cold tap also needs a new washer - as drips.

Ideal spot for a summer break, with beach, town and estuary all within close proximity, and a nice quiet location. May well head back next year but for a few more days.

4th Time back, nice to see improvements each time we come. The air con was heaven with the humid weather this time. Only downside was the lawns, making the place look untidy. The grass appeared not to have been mowed for a number of weeks and was quite long in places all around the edge of the house, by the bins and especially out back by the clothes line where it was almost knee height. Every time you went outside you felt the urge to mow the lawn, which is not ideal on holiday.

A lovely weekend away, with our family and our dog. Full fenced section, which was great for the dog. The place had everything we needed for our time away. Thank you, we will be back. If we could give feedback, the only thing would be to prune back the trees near the decking area.

A nice place to stay for that break away but close enough to hear the ocean at night. A great spot for us and our fur baby to spend the weekend. Easy walk to the beach. Great communication and house set up with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing weekend. Ultra fragrant plants outside providing a nice surprise.

Nice weekend away as we enjoyed the walk to beach and dairy close by . Great space on deck, great space in sleepout for teenagers . Bedding comfortable for our family of 5. Use of air con to cool or heat us great bonus. Appreciated it was dog friendly but the driveway gate was easy for them to slip thru large gate rails.Happily our dog does stay close to us all the time, but needed to be tied up or confined if we left the property without her. Thanks for excellent communication and extra items available for use at the holiday home.

The kids enjoyed climbing the Feijoa tree and eating the fruit. Drive or pram to beach.

A nice little beach house, 10-20 min walk to the beach and/or estuary. The outside room was great for our teenager to retreat to. It really had everything we needed for a weekend away.

Rainy week in Whanga, but we were comfortable and dry at the bach. Our third time there now. Wifi and netflix kept us going. Nicky was extremely accommodating and caring given the flooding and slips occurring around whangamata. Thank you Nicky. We will be back again, hopefully to a sunny Whanga.,

We enjoyed our stay at whangamata, 10 walk to the estuary, the batch was clean and tidy.
Great communication.
The only issue we had was there is no turning space down the long drive way and the trees and shrubs are very over grown, which resulted in our car being scratched.

House and Bach accommodation was great especially for our teen daughter to have her own space😂😂, beautiful spacious outdoor area even with the rain we still had a BBQ 😋😋 everything was just perfect 10/10

We had a wonderful few days in this bach, situated in a quiet convenient location. Everything we needed was provided. The furnishings were good and the beds were comfortable. We were able to take our dog and he loved lying on the deck in the sun in between great walks on the beach & estuary. We hope to stay again.

Perfect for us
This is a great wee house to stay at! We took two young Norwich Terriers with us for two nights.They were happy and settled but we didn't let them loose outside, (probably more through our paranoia and a couple of hens hanging around). It was really quiet and we were close to everything we needed. The house was very clean and tidy. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for being dog friendly Nicky.
