as per other reviews the street is noisy but this would be true in any other place in this great location - so for us it was worth it.

The apartment is fantastic! It has all you need for a great stay: location, comfortable, good value for money, great communication with the host.

It is loud outside but with the windows closed you do not notice

The location is perfect if you want to explore Porto mainly on foot. There's plenty of really good restaurants all around the place (we could even sneak out across the street for a glass of Port wine and leave the kids home alone for a short while). 2 bathrooms also make the stay more comfortable (we stayed with 3 kids and having our own bathroom was perfect). The street is quite busy (lots of busses that can take you places), but all windows are equipped with shutters so the noise is minimal. Great contact with the host, they let us into the apartment a bit earlier once it was cleaned up.
