The apartment is well located directly on the start of tourist paths, about 500 m from the sea and Binz centre. Well equipped, all working, clean, The kitchen is small and not suitable for bigger cooking (e.g. no baking).

The big drawback of renting through Rujana Ferienwohnungen is the communication. While my booking on the web was in English, all communication via email comes only in German. The communication is quite extensive, contains important information, though prefabricated. I have basic understanding of German, but needed translation software to get an understanding of the messages. On a polite request to receive at least the key information in English there was no response. I would understand language issues at a private individual, but not with a firm managing tens, potentially hundreds, of apartments.

Good furnished and clean apartment. Hosts were very kind and helpful.

I liked that the apartment had everything I needed, including coffee filters (I brought my own coffee) and that it was very close to the forest. You can literally just cross the road and start hiking to Sellin, along several trails. It's also less than a 10 min walk to the beach. There was a drying rack available in the garden too, helpful to dry swimwear.

The process of getting and dropping off the keys was more tiring than expected: first long wait in line to the office, and the keys have to be back there BY 10 am. Since there is considerable distance between the apartment and this office (about 20 min walk with a heavy suitcase, including a hill), this is really tedious if you are not traveling light or with a car. There is no sound isolation on the door, so I could hear all my neighbours going through the main hall in the morning; this woke me up again and again. There is a church and a construction site right next to the building. On Sunday, there is noise from mass, on weekdays, from the construction site. It's less noise than expected, but it will not be restful if you plan to sleep in.

The location is really good and in walking distance from the main pedestrian streets. The property has a parking and the room we booked had an opened balcony as well as a closed winter balcony - so great in case of bad weather and if you are a smoker. The property was clean, towels and bedsheets included in the stay. The kitchen has some small appliances that are handy in case you stay more days (coffe machine, microwave…).

The property has a parking space behind the villa (that is a big deal) but bare in mind that the passage from the street to the parking space is quite narrow so it is not suitable for a larger/bigger car.
