quiet and great location nice breakfast

Lovely room, felt very like a home from home. The B&B is in a very good spot to reach the old city and has lots nearby to encourage strolling around. Parking is an issue at times but our host let us use a parking permit so we were able to park close by for free. Our host was lovely and catered for everything we needed and I am indebted to him for all the help he provided us when we ran into difficulties in Venice. He was a star!

Santo Stefano is in a prime location on the river of Verona. It's opposite the ponte pietra and within walking distance of the city centre. Luca was the most welcoming host and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was perfect and there was more than enough with a fantastic selection of continental foods.

Beautiful view from the penthouse apartment over Verona. It was very spacious and clean. Everything worked and our host was excellent.

Mattresses are over their age and should be replaced. Also it is the typical Italian interior, ok but not very modern and/or stylish, but a beautiful old house.

We were in the top floor apartment. First things first, the views across the river to the old town are absolutely stunning. Indeed, it almost justifies the cost of the room on its own. The living area was spacious and reasonably well appointed too with a cosy lounge/kitchen arrangement and a separate bedroom. Cooking facilities are available if you want to be bothered and everything is provided that you might need. Air-con is excellent and although it is is close to main road, I thought the double glazing worked well. Great value for money. Luca also organised an airport transfer (€35) for us. It was definitely worth it as it takes away all the stress from making an early morning flight. Highly recommended.

Nothing to report really although I do have a few caveats. Steep steps are just the other side of the apartment door which itself is fairly low. If you are tall (luckily I'm only 5ft7in) it may prove tricky when you exit the room. The second one is probably down to me. I thought breakfast was included but this is not the case for the top floor apartment. I'm not sure it makes that distinction on the BC website.

The room, the view, the location and breakfast were incredible. A particularly charming place to stay overlooking the bridge, river and Bell Tower. The owner really made our stay special.

Perfect location for exploring Verona. The B&B was absolutely immaculate and the room had all you could ask for. Luca was the perfect host, he couldn't do enough for us during our stay. We will definitely be returning

The location and facilities are excellent. Breakfast was really good and served at the room. The host is great, he is very friendly and welcoming.

The location was great, we arrived early and the host was very accommodating. The accommodation is on a busy road but with the double glazing and blackout blinds you would never have known.

Stefano is an outstanding host. We booked the penthouse apartment and it really was a home away from home. Great facilities and close to all attractions in Venice. Stefano even gave us some tips on where to go and eat. If the bus is running, it stops right outside the B&B. Would book it again in a heart beat.

There was some confusion with the breakfast. On booking.com it was marked includes but due to CoViD19, there was no breakfast. However, Stefano gave some snacks to make up for it.
