Great location (especially if you're chasing Aurora's or looking for an amazing experience) We really enjoyed our staying at Fjordhotell, a very calm and beautiful spot the staff was very kind and joyful to speak with as they didn't save any good information from us. the breakfast was very good, the dinner menu is a surprise every day and we loved it. and highly recommended.

breakfast has been disappointing: not wide range of choices and the food wasn’t fresh. yesterday the hotel gave the possibility to listen to a live music concert. Even if we were guests at the hotel we had to pay 200 kr per person to stay longer at the restaurant. There were not other common rooms to hang out so we felt obligated to pay 200 kr otherwise we would have had to go back to room at 8 pm. To cut a long story: it’s not kind to ask your guests money to allow them to spend their time in the only and one living room in the entire hotel.

Breakfast was very good, versatile and delicious. Room was spacious and clean. View from the room and from the dining/breakfast room out to the sea was nice. Hotel was very quiet, just like we like it. Staff was so friendly, special thanks to my namesake Johanna who was at the desk when we were checking out. Overall our stay was enjoyable and we will visit this place again if we come back to Senja someday.

Location was a bit far from the Northern side of Senja where the famous peaks are but then again Ånderdalen national park was close by. Luckily we like to drive around so it was not that bad :)

Difficult to get to/ from hotel- hardly any public transport at weekends. Need to use car.

Lovely hotel and excellent newly renovated rooms. There isnt anything bad to say about rooms! View was beautiful and district was lovely. Food in the restaurant was tasty and staff were friendly. Location is perfect if you want to go to Ånderdalen national park.

Only problem to us was that we wanted to rent a sauna and it was already reserved so you have to be quick if you want to go to sauna and swim.
