Susie has thought of everything and it comes in the package of a beautiful home, immaculately presented and a wonderful base to explore the area. Susie was a great host, providing all the info we needed, letting us get on with our holiday while ensuring the pool and gardens were kept in tip top condition. Benahavis is a nice little village/town with enough places to eat that you can happily try somewhere new every day. If your looking for a good base to play golf, have time away from the beaches and feel relaxed and at home, this is an excellent choice. Thanks for you care and attention to detail Susie.

GREAT VALUE AND FUN

Susie was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. Her communication was great all through the lockdown years and during the holiday. Before we travelled she gave us loads of useful information. The directions to the villa were perfect. Susie met us when we arrived and was very helpful. The villa was perfect; very spacious inside and out and it had everything we needed, even toys and pool inflatables for our 17 month old granddaughter. It was also super clean and in a perfect location to explore the village without needing to drive. The village itself is lovely and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We went to El Guarda 1926 where we all enjoyed our food and we found the staff friendly and accommodating. Los Abanicos was excellent and for a different foodie experience we loved the restaurant at the Amanhavis Hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Benahavís. Susie goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests and is definitely a super host! Thanks very much, Susie!

Apart from everything about the villa being incredible, the up front information and service pre-arrival is the best we have received by far. The villa, pool area and gardens are all stunning. The villa is equipped with all you will need. Benahavis is 10 minute stroll away (although it isn't all flat) and is beautiful with lovely restaurants. Best overall villa holiday we have had.

Nothing that hadn't been thought of - Simply perfect. Our trip to Villa Paraiso was a special holiday for all the family. Villa Paraiso offered a luxurious stay with spectacular views and a beautifully presented interior - the perfect spot for any family wanting to enjoy the tranquillity of Benahavis while still being a short drive away from Puerto Banus. Spotless, spacious and with a picturesque view from every angle, Villa Paraiso not only ticked all of our boxes as a place to stay but also as a destination to visit. Benahavis is a pocket of calm, hidden in the hills from the bustle of Banus, with great restaurants a short stroll away from the villa. The heated pool was a bonus, with many hours enjoyed every day by both the children and adults. With a real home-from-home feel, all the basics were provided for in the kitchen, from bin bags to cooking oil. Susie, Villa Paraiso's owner, was a fantastic host who quite simply had thought of everything we would require as a family of 11. From recommending places to eat and explore to being extremely responsive to any questions our group had before and during our stay, Suzie offered great insight into the local area and provided recommendations for activities and restaurants. The 'river run' which is just opposite was a favourite and is a MUST for anyone who visits. As a family who always loves to visit somewhere new, we rarely stay in the same place twice. However, Villa Paraiso we simply couldn't fault, therefore we will be back again in the future. Thank you for a brilliant holiday!

The property is in a quiet street with great access to the village and amenities. The house itself is large, spacious, with large bedrooms and bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and lots of places to sit and relax

Excellent. Beautiful villa furnished to a high standard in a fantastic location. Everything exactly as described and we had a wonderful time. Susie is a fantastic host. She keeps very much in touch, provides a wonderful warm welcome and gives you all the information you could ever need. It certainly shows that she loves and takes pride in her property. And rightly so..its a peach Benahavis is a good base to explore the costa del sol with the village restaurants just a short walk away earning deserved praise. Thoroughly recommended

A group of 3 couples came to Villa Paraiso to celebrate my 60th birthday The villa was just as beautiful as pictured. It was perfect for our group in that there were plenty of spaces to be on your own an get some work done or quietly read a book as well as fabulous spaces for us all to be together for morning chats about the previous day, take a swim, dine alfresco and ,of course, drink some yummy Spanish wine! We enjoyed wandering around Benahavis and had some great meals there. We also did day trips to Old Marbella and Puerto Banus which gave us a great taste of both "old" and "new Spain (I preferred Marbella) Probably our favorite find was Chiringuito Victors Beach which lies between these two Beautiful little beach where you can call and reserve beach chairs and umbrellas, have a refreshing cocktail made at the Tiki bar and have a delicious lunch of fresh seafood and other yummy offerings. The staff could not have been more accommodating (we went there 3 times:) Finally, speaking of accommodating Susie, Villa Paraiso's owner, was a dream to work with!! The information she sends in advance is unlike anything I've received from any VRBO property in the past. In addition, she is quick to respond to any random questions you may have both prior to and during your stay(and we had a lot given we were there during Covid) via Whats App It is a long journey from the United States but would definitely consider it again in the future!

We had a fabulous week at the villa. It is as beautiful outside as the pictures suggest. Pool, gardens lovely, plenty of shade and with spectacular views. The interior of the house is spacious and beautifully presented. Benahavis village is lovely - a ten minute stroll away and, having no desire to drive, we found it very easy and cheap to use Uber to get to the nearby supermarket. The owner could not have been more helpful and thoughtful in any respect - nothing too much trouble. Very highly recommended!

A really lovely property and Susie was a great host. Spotless and with everything you could ask for. Great location in Benahavis (short walk to the lively village with splendid places to eat). A particular treat was watching the sun rise each morning from the balcony of the master bedroom. Am already planning the next stay!

On our second night we asked Jose the Paella guy to come and cook for us at the villa. For 12€ per head we had superb Paella. There are lots of sunny and shady areas in the garden - it was possible for all the couples to find some private space if they wanted some. Having the pool was a perfect place for becoming ‘children’ again. The weather was sunny and very warm so we had the opportunity to cool off whenever we wanted. The magnificent kitchen allowed us all to share in the cooking. The Mercadona a few minutes away by car was an excellent source for provisions. We had a trip to Lidl and Aldi on a couple of occasions. The youngsters enjoyed eating and drinking out in the village on several occasions. They were serenaded with guitar music, listened to an end of summer musical celebration - live music and impromptu art exhibitions were also available. On our last evening we all went to a cafe/restaurant called Luck. Carlos was a fine host and we enjoyed some very fine cocktails and very delicious food. He promised us a good evening and he did not disappoint.Cannot praise this beautiful villa too highly. For a special holiday it satisfied every requirement and Susie looked after us so well. It was literally a dream come true which will leave all of us some very happy memories.

We had a brilliant time in paradise villa! The villa is well equipped and gave us everything we needed for a wonderful holiday! A short walk to the main village which has lots of bars and restaurants. The maxi bar was really useful as was the online shopping which is available! Susie was really helpful also and always there to help! The beds were comfy and there was plenty of different living spaces around the villa to enjoy the sun or the shade! Brilliant pool which the whole family could enjoy! We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone!

We had a fantastic week at this villa. It is very well-equipped and perfect for large family groups of all ages. It is in a scenic location which is walking distance to restaurants in Benahavis. Susie and Ian were great hosts - we were provided with plenty of useful information in the run up to the stay and they were very helpful in dealing with any questions that we had when we were there. Very happy to recommend to others!

Villa Paraiso and Benahavis are an absolute gem- the views from the villa are stunning and yet it's just a short walk into the main village with a great choice of restaurants and bars (the walk is hilly for the less mobile). The villa is filled with everything you could possibly need for your holiday including a maxi bar. A great convenience stocked with essential provisions to start your holiday: including drinks, snacks and enough to cook a few meals before you need to get to a supermarket- you simply pay for the things that you use at the end of the holiday. Susie's organisation and communication is impressive, she promptly responded to all our queries and has a great insight into the local area and can provide recommendations for activities and restaurants. Our favourite was the "river run" just a few minutes walk from the villa.

We spent 1 week as part of a group of 3 families, including 5 children under 5 years old- villa was brilliantly equipped and everyone had plenty of space. Villa is well located centrally within reach of Benehavis town with plentiful restaurant choices and a short drive from Marbella and beaches. Susie was very helpful and provided some great advice and ideas. Would happily recommend.

Well maintained Villa with all the facilities required for a relaxing holiday. Easy walking distance of Benahavis village with its restaurants and local shops. 3km from Supermarket. Nice golf course around 2 km away. San Pedro Alcantara and Marbella/Puerto Banus are within easy reach if you wanted shops, beach and nightlife. Easy trips to Malaga or Ronda(both less than 1 hour) if you need a diversion from the pool.

Our family group of 10 aged from 8 months to 68 years loved this villa; it's even better than the photos suggest! It had everything we could have wanted, from baby equipment (playpen,cot, highchair etc etc ) toys, a well equipped kitchen and more. Susie gave us lots of helpful information by email before our holiday and was there to meet us when we arrived to show us where things were and how they worked. The location was good for days out - I particularly highlight Ronda, which is very impressive and well worth a visit. However we were happy to spend lots of time relaxing in the lovely garden with it's fantastic views. We all really appreciated the heated pool and the children played in it for hours. ( I think that the water could have been a bit chilly in early May without that.) Some of us had fun swimming in the river pools, only a few minutes walk away. The village of Benahavis is pleasant to stroll around although it is up a bit of a hill - remember your Blue badge if you have one, then you can park up in town. It has lots of places to eat (Susie can give you recommendations). All in all I would really highly recommend this villa for a great family holiday - we are thinking of returning!

Stayed here before and would most certainly stay again, scenic place and gorgeous village! The maxi bar is a life saver 😉everything you could possibly need is there so you don’t have to shop straight away which makes my hubby happy. Thanks to Susie and Ian for another lovely holiday .

Villa in superb position at edge of lovely village. Great for large numbers and fabulous heated pool. Villa owner is extremely helpful and we had wonderful holiday. Some nice restaurants in the village and fantastic walk in gorge.

A beautiful Villa with absolutely everything our Family could have wished for. The maxi bar was very much appreciated upon our arrival as we arrived late in the evening and it was nice to have all necessities on hand without having to go to the supermarket.Susie is an amazing host, she was always available to answer any questions. The Villa is perfect for families with young children as there are many toys to keep them occupied and the “ family wing” of the Villa worked well for our Son and Daughter In Law and their two children, a King size bedroom for the Parents, a large bathroom and a separate bedroom for our two small Granddaughters. Thank you Susie for making our vacation a huge success!

We were an extended family of 8 visiting over the December holidays. The villa was simply amazing and perfect for a group our size. The rooms and bathrooms were well-appointed, the kitchen was huge with everything you need, and the heated pool offered plenty of opportunities to swim in late December. At the same time, the villa has plenty of outdoor areas to get away and enjoy some privacy. The setting is convenient with the beautiful town of Benahavis just a few minutes walk away, along with dozens of walks in the surrounding countryside. Susie was a kind and generous host - responding right away with any questions we had. I can't recommend this villa enough and hope to be able to come back in the near future. An absolute gem!

The property was located in a lovely peaceful setting with wonderful views of the mountains close by. It was just a short stroll to Benahavis and all the great restaurants.We couldn't have chosen a better villa to stay in and Susie the owner has been tremendous in helping with info and anything that would help us to get the most from our holiday.I don't do reviews of places that I visit but this time I've decided to make an exception as we enjoyed the villa so much. Would most certainly recommend and I hope to be going back in the not too distant future.

We stayed in the villa as a family of 10 with 4 children. The entire group loved the villa and the kids had a great time in the pool, which had the added bonus of being heated. There were plenty of toys and DVDs for the kids and the Maxi bar got us through the first night and a few days after. Susie was amazing and easy to communicate with during our stay. The village of Benahavis is amazing with lots of restaurants. Location is 20mins from Marbella and is worth visiting. My brother and I did the river walk on our last day. This was a highlight of the holiday and is definitely recommend. Would definitely recommend.

A great house with 6 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, big kitchen and best of all; a lot of different seating options out in the garden and balcony. We were 10 people in our party and we went there to celebrate my 50th birthday. When we came to the house, the owner Susie, had decorated the entire kitchen for the birthday celebration! It was lovely! Such a personal welcome! Susie also guided us through everything we needed to know about the house, the village, things to do, what to see etc. Susie's maxibar was filled with everything we needed for the first couple of days. Food, snacks, drinks, ice cream...you name it. No need to rush to the supermarket :-) She lives in the village, so if we needed anything she would be there in a few minutes. We felt really safe and very well taken care of.

Fabulous villa with all the amenities you could wish for – it felt just like home! Susie, the owner, really looks after you before the holiday, with lots of useful information – even pictures of the road signs and supermarkets to look for on the way from the airport! On arrival she talked us through lots of useful local information and has gone to a lot of trouble to type it out so you can read it at your leisure. The pool was heated to 31 degrees and the gardens are well kept, with some fruit, which you can pick. The Maxi-Bar really is well stocked at normal supermarket prices. Their website gives lots of details, which you can trust, because they are all true, so I don’t need to repeat them here. The street leading up to the fabulous town of Benahavis is very steep and tests your fitness, then continues as a gentle slope up to the village centre, where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Our group of 3 adult couples plus 6 youngsters ranging from 6 to 18 all thought this was an amazing place to stay and so much better than a hotel. Even our refundable deposit was returned quickly to us! Thanks Susie!

We stayed here with other family members and no one had a bad thing to say. The only complaint that any of us had was that we couldn't stay for longer. The villa is lovely and in super location with plenty of views to enjoy. There is plenty of space within the villa to get away from the rest of the group to relax in the peace and quiet. There is plenty of seating areas throughout the villa and around the pool. It is a short 5-10minute walk in to the village where there is plenty of places to eat/drink. Would recommend doing the river walk which takes about an hour (5mins from villa)
