We traveled from Florida and Texas (family of 10) to celebrate my 60th birthday. Staying at Villa Scorpio was the perfect choice. We had 3 families and the home is modeled to provide privacy for all parties, yet large and appointed perfectly to all gather for meals and lounging to discuss the wonderful daily adventures. Hosts Niko and Dena were the best assisting us with every detail from private shuttles to daily excursions. They know their wonderful country well and helped to make our trip an adventure we will NEVER forget. Thanks for the beautiful memories...we'll be back!

We were nine people (age ~25) and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house absolutely. The rooms are a good size and are all perfectly equipped and clean. There are two large dining rooms and lounges and a spacious living room with great view. Also many spacious refrigerators, storage and dishes. Both in front of and behind the house you can sit and eat in a large group. The pool is very clean as well as the entire garden. On a small path you can walk directly to the sea and after a few meters you are already on the rocks and in the water. You can go swimming in the sea easily. The lessor ist very nice and has taken care of everything. We got a detailed house inspection and afterwards a self-prepared food which was very delicious. Also everything you needed was already in the house prepared like toilet paper, dishwasher tablets and plenty of foods and drinks. The barbecue was very easy and made a lot of fun. The only problem that we had was when all 9 people showered after each other the warm water was empty but with a bit of agreement this was not a problem either. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very very much and can warmly recommend this great villa. Especially the pool with the breathtaking view has thrilled us.

We stayed at villa Scorpio for a wonderful week in July 2017. It perfectly accommodated 9 people and all promises were met. It exceeded our expectations! We had an amazing week in Villa Scorpio during June 2017. We were 6 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 pre-teens and one five-year-old looking for nice relaxing holiday in beautiful Greece. We chose Villa Scorpio because of the great reviews and the place was beyond all our expectations! As soon as we drove through the main gates with very friendly Mr Nikos, the beautiful villa took our breath away before we even got inside the villa! Friendly Mr Nikos introduced all the area and rooms. Every bedroom has its own toilet/shower and provide good pricacy. We had a chance to enjoy an amazing weather, the sun was shining all week and the pool area was definitely our favourite place to spend relaxing time together. The private rocky beach with clear water was at the backyard, and everyday we also swam and dived there. The kitchen was very well equipped and we didn´t miss a thing (this was also a professional opinion, one of us is a professional chef). We cooked our own meals in the kitchen and in the cozy grill room downstairs. It was also lovely to eat breakfast in the beautifully decorated living room with a breathtaking sea view! This villa is well situated, grocery stores were near at the city of Lavrio. We also found supermarket Jumbo, which was a paradise especially for us girls, full of beautiful decorative items at a cheap price! We also made day trips to Athens, designer outlet stores, little villages at the shores of the peninsula. The temple of Poseidon at the cape was amazing! The children (and the adults) were having a good time at the pool, which had an exceptional waterfall effect and beautiful sea view. During night time, pool was beautifully lighted and it was amazing to swim under the stars! Mr Nikos and his wife Dina made we feel like we were most welcome and were available to help in everything 24 hours a day. A perfect trip for us, amazingly beautiful villa with privacy! We are most definitely coming back one day! 10+++ ❤

I have recently returned from staying at Villa Scorpio and I miss it everyday. The view of the Aegean Sea is amazing and changes constantly. Sunrises are a must see. If you get tired of the view the infinity pool is wonderful. You can also swim in the sea. Dina and Nikos make you feel like family. The rooms are clean and spacious and the patio perfect for getting together. This is a perfect place for a family or friends reunion . Easy access to Athens. I would definitely recommend this paradise

The greatest home we could ask for our family vacation! Strtarted with Nikos and Dina's warm welcome, went on with day swimmings at the pool, and bathing on the rocky private small laguna. Kind Nikos and Dina were always available for any quesion or advise. The house is fully equiped and each section of the house has full privacy. Just 30 minutes from mthe airport, 10 minutes from the small town Lavrion and 40 minutes from Athens (by car) - You can Enjoy both the peace and quiet of this solitary vila and the nearby "civilization". Some evenings we coocked our meals together, some we drove to Lavrion; every morning we had our coffee in front of the sea, and just relaxed... the great memories we have from this villa worth these 5 stars!

We had a great stay in this wonderful house. The view was fantastic, and was emphasized by the ship-like architecture of the house. We were 7 people, but the house would easily accommodate 1-2 more families. We took several trips around the peninsula to Suonio, Lavrio, and Athens, and found the house to be well placed for excursions. We were also thankful for the help we got from the very helpful and friendly host and hostess. Thank you for a great week!

La baignade en mer à quelques pas. Un couple accueillant et toujours disponible pour vous informer des atouts de la région. Pas de vis à vis, tranquille, au calme. Le village de Lavrio à 15' bien fourni en supermarket, bars et restaurants. Aéroport à 30' et Athénes à 45'.

The Villa Scorpio is the perfect location for a large, self-sufficient group looking for a luxurious stay near Athens. The common areas, including two well-appointed kitchens, a huge living room with HDTV and Bose speaker system, have breathtaking views through floor-to-ceiling windows. These windows can be partially or fully opened, depending on the weather. Each of the bedrooms is a mini-suite, with self-contained full baths. The master bedroom is fit for royalty, with a private deck separate from the rest of the villa and a jacuzzi. Each bedroom is equipped with whisper-quiet AC units, affording cool sleeping conditions, regardless of the wind, temp or humidity. The villa itself is a two-minute walk to the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean and an topographically interesting ten minute hike to a small, pebbly beach. In all my days of travelling, I have never seen accommodations cleaner nor in better repair. The owner took great care in helping us understand all the features and benefits of the villa, including the dishwasher, oven, espresso-maker, pool, etc. He insisted we call at any hour with any question and we did. At 11:45 PM one night he happily explained how to turn off a particular outside light, whose switch we couldn't locate. This part of Attica is not densely populated. The nearest town, Lavrio, is about 15 minutes away by car. But, the "Mini Market," a mere five minutes away, is as well stocked as a small US grocery store. Lavrio is a very pretty town, with a very large market every Thursday. Dining out in Greece is inexpensive--a full lunch for ten, no drinks, cost a mere 120 Euros. Driving in Greece is surprisingly easy. All the main roads are well lit and moderately travelled. The drivers are just as crazy as any you would find in the US. Like all of Europe, gasoline is quite expensive, 1.89 Euros/liter while we were there. Villa Scorpio is about 40 minutes away from the airport. The Acropolis is about 55 or 60 minutes away, including the traffic you'll find once you get in the city. We were anxious about parking near the Parthenon, but found a lot near the Acropolis Museum for 8 Euros all day. One last and very important feature of Villa Scorpio. Nikos is friendly with a pair of local chefs who will prepare a grand feast on one or more evenings. We used them twice, once for a meat dinner, the other for fish. Both were wonderful. The patio and pool are elegant and peaceful. All in all, a marvelous week.

The place is beautiful, especially in spring with flowers covering the whole garden and turtles hiding. The architecture is perfectly functionnal with large common spaces inside and outside and a lot of separated places for those wanting to sleep later. It is decorated with taste and you really feel like in a home or in a boat looking at the sea. The equipment of the kitchen and more generally of the house is incredible, including beds, chairs and toys for babys and children. The swimming pool is amazing and the taverna downstairs ideal for BBQ. The owner, Nikos and its wife are just perfect guests: they even cooked a traditional roasted lamb with accompagning salads to welcome us on the day of our arrival on Easter Sunday. Unforgetable.

Our time at Villa Scorpio was fantastic. We were a group of five couples and the house worked out perfectly. The owners, Nikos and Dina, are wonderful. They met us at the airport, guided us to the villa, showed us around upon arrival and were always available by phone for any questions or concerns. We asked Nikos to recommend a chef for three separate evenings and he found us an amazing talent in Chef Drosos Xynogalas. The meals he prepared were delicious, made with the freshest ingredients. The table was decorated beautifully, and his assistant Vicki explained the dishes and accompanying drinks. Nikos also recommended several restaurants, which were great spots as well. Villa Scorpio is a little piece of heaven on the Aegean Sea. We would highly recommend a holiday at Villa Scorpio. Thanks Nikos and Dina!

On the day of our arrival, when Nikos the owner guides you around his fabulous villa, he keeps saying that this villa is now YOURS ! And we were astonished how quickly we were convinced that this was the case ! What a pleasure not to have to go shopping for food on the first day ! The refrigerator, the freezer and the kitchen's cupboards were full of food and drinks, You could find soap and shampoo in the 4 bathrooms, no need to rush for dishwashing product, salt, sugar or coffee. The kids went mad when they discovered the Xbox360, the large LCD screen and the Home Theater in the living room and they had a great use of the laptop with Wi-Fi connection. The swimming pool was simply great with a wonderful view over the Aegean see. In a nutshell, there was only one difficult moment with the Scorpio villa, it was when we had to give back the keys of OUR HOUSE to Nikos and his charming wife!

It was like a dream. Everything was perfect,the villa, the pool, the sea... We want to repeat this wonderfull experience.

We were two families of 4 adults and 7 children. The house was great for our kind of families with rather small children. The swimming pool was very soothed for children and 4 of the children learned how to swim during these two weeks. The house is very big but at the same time cosy and warm. We had no urge to leave the house during our stay because of the facilities in the house. It takes 5 minutes by car to buy groceries and 12 minutes by car to go to a village nearby with a big Carrefour and nice restaurants. The owners of the house are kind and service minded and will help you at any time. I will recomand this house to anyone who wants a relaxing time in wonderfull Greece.

Upon arrival to Athens airport we met Nikos, the vill owner and Followd him to VIlla Scorpio.It is very difficult to locate the villa for the first time since most of the road signs are in Greeke, and very hard to pronounce in English , Villa Scorpio is located in a Village by the name of Vgethi, but in Greeke they don't pronounce the letter G , so before coming to the Villa learn how to pronounce the word. We were 2 Famelies of friends with small childrens all in total 9 pax . Upon arriving to the Villa we received a nice welcome including Greeke sandwiches, and food for the first days from Nikos the Villa owner. Villa Scorpio is built as a ship with large windows in the living rooms and round windows extactly as in a ship.the Villa is located just 12 meter from the sea and it is Beutiful. The villa consist of 5 bedrooms but 2 bedrooms are in a seperate bulding next to the main main Villa.The 2 other bedrooms are in front of the swiming pool, and are very nice, this layout is a good solution for 2 families , but may occur an issue for a family with small childrens since you have to go outside to the 2 other bedrooms, the bedrooms are all with air-condition aside from one bedroom which is with a mobile air-condition. The villa was clean, and well maintained the Swiming pool was clean and very beutiful since it is infinity pool and the view of the pool with the sea is stunnig! During our stay we visited Athens just 1 hour drive from the Villa, recomending to Visit Posidon Temple in Sounion ?? Sunset it is very romantic, and very beutiful, T
