We stayed here for 3 nights driving up from Brisbane and it was perfect! Susan was a fantastic host answering all questions promptly and have some great advice. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

The villa had everything we required for our 5 night stay on Fraser Island. It was clean, comfortable and spacious for the 4 of us. The only negative I have is that if you returned from your daily adventures late, most car parks close to the villa were taken. We would happily stay there again.

Had some issues but Susan was quick to call back to try and help. Villa has most of the essentials you need but some things missing which the resort should have checked on such as no batteries in air con and no dustpan and brush. Kitchen is well stocked. Carpet needs replacing in lounge area and curtains very dusty.

This villa has all you need for a short or long stay. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds.

Enjoyed our stay at Kingfisher Bay very much. The unit was comfortable and in a quiet location that was an easy walk to main resort facilities.

We had a fantastic time on Fraser Island. Family of 5, all kids under 7. Susan was very helpful in providing information and responsive to all requests.Fraser Island is an amazing place, truly one of a kind.The Villa was clean and well appointed. It provided all the mod cons (The air conditioning very much appreciated) but the resort is setup to retain its natural feel for example there were Gecko's wandering around outside. It had a very new kitchen and generally felt very well maintained. We read some comments before our stay that the resort is dated, but we thought it was nice and a very welcome refuge after a day exploring !We took our own 4WD and entered via Inskip Point and exited by the Kingfisher Ferry. We spent a week in the villa and most days we took off to explore the Island, but two or three days we just stayed put and relaxed at the resort. The kids also loved the resort facilities and even participated in the organised activities (Eco Rangers etc). Travelling around the island took longer than I expected. We needed to help move a bogged vehicle from the tracks (not us) every time we went out which slows you down. You really need to plan where you want to go and when (tide dependent) if staying here. It takes a while to get around but there are places like Lake Mackenzie that you can visit for a half day. We got as far north as Champagne Pools. There is a shop with basic facilities but limited range and convenience store prices. We self-catered all meals for start of our trip but just had dinner at the resort restaurants toward the end (tried all 3). The resort meals are "island prices" of course and quality was OK. In summary a fantastic holiday and villa, would definitely recommend !

Very clean and tidy property, easy access and great support from resort

Property was as described, clean and well-maintained. Owner was super helpful with all types of relevant info and assistance leading up to stay, great for our family (2 adults + 1 child) - would recommend
