Comfortabele B&B, zeer schoon, warm welkom door de gastvrouw

Je komt uitsluitend om te wandelen of te fietsen, niets in omgeving te doen (dat weet je van te voren)

We werden goed ontvangen. Een leuke kennismaking met Lisa en Tjalle zonder dat het opdringerig werd. Ze gaven de optie om hen in te schakelen mochten we iets nodig hebben of willen weten over het eiland. Het ontbijt was zo'n beetje het beste wat we hebben gehad gedurende al onze reizen. Vers, lokaal, heerlijk en met een uitgebreide keuze. De inbegrepen koffie was heerlijk. De accommodatie was compleet en van een hoge standaard voor deze prijs. En het ligt heel dicht bij sommige van de mooiste plekjes van Texel.

Er is niets wat tegenviel. Het enige wat het voor mij nog beter zou maken is een echt Texeler dekbed. :)

A lovely studio apartment in a very attractive village. The bed was super comfy and there was loads of space. The bathroom was at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the main room but still within the self contained apartment. There are no cooking facilities but the fridge is full size and there is a full set of plates, cutlery , dishwasher etc and an excellent supermarket within 10 minutes walk. The host is lovely and provided a very beautifully presented breakfast (room service!) everyday.

We had an incredible stay here. The hostess, Lisa, was wonderful. She answered all my questions before we arrived and met us with the keys. She prepared what I think were the best breakfast baskets we've ever had during stays with Booking.com. The food was healthy, delicious and plentiful. These breakfasts were a highlight of our stay. The apartment itself is large and very comfortable. The location was perfect and parking was available right in front of the property. The apartment is in an historic building that I believe was built in the early or mid-1800s. It has large windows that look out onto the garden in the front, and even though it is located on the main street, the village of De Cocksdorp is small and very quiet during day and night. The shower was great, as was the bed: we slept comfortably at night. Thank you, Lisa!

It was the second time I've stayed with these lovely people. So I have written a review last year already. Lisa, Tjalle, Stella and Mira and not to forget Pieps the cat always make me feel so welcome. And the lovely basket of breakfast waiting for me every morning after coming back from photographing the sunrise on the beach, is just yummy! The room has an own entrance, which is nice, because you don't have feeling of intruding into someone else's home. I had 9 wonderful days! Hope to be back again next year!

My hosts, Lisa and Tjalle together with there 2 girls and cat Pieps, made me feel so welcome. The basket of breakfast every morning was delicious and enough food for me for the whole day. The appartement have your own entrance and is totally seperated from the hosts' part of the house. Everything was just perfect for me.
