This property fit our needs very well! We are avid boaters and the dock was great along with the wonderful canal location!! The hosts are very responsive and helpful!! We appreciate staying at one of their 2 properties whenever we can!

We really enjoyed our stay in Key Colony. Owners were great to work with. Except for a little hurricane winds and rain for 2 days the weather was great. Beautiful sunsets.

The cabana club is a must… a chilled pool after a long hot day is perfect. We enjoyed the location on the canals. It was easy to pop out for a sunset cruise or shoot out to Sombrero reef. The bunk beds were great for kiddos and the pool is the perfect size. It was easy to cook dinner and watch the kids out the front window. We would love to stay here again.

We were very comfortable in this home. It was very clean and convenient. Everything was just as advertised, the owners were very nice. We will definitely rent again.

House was perfect! The size, location, all of it! The silverware was dirty in the drawer and the queen size bed in the spare room was extremely uncomfortable. All in all, I would still stay again!

Spent a week with adult children in Marathon for fishing and diving. This home hit all of the marks: close to end of canal for easy come & go by water, long sea wall set back from the canal, fish board, freshwater wash down, covered porch for hot afternoons, didn’t use hot tub but it was nice, private pool, full kitchen with walk-in pantry, tons of closet space, comfortable beds & bedding, very clean, and responsive host. Can’t wait to return!!

We chose the property due to the location on the canal. The area was peaceful and serene. When we were at the house, we stayed busy fishing (the bait cooler in the garage already had bait!), in the pool and hot tub, and watching the wildlife. Kitchen was stocked nicely. Pool floats were provided as well as paddle boards. Linens and towels were quality and beds were comfy.

Huge dock for fishing!!! My kids caught so many fish! The pool was the perfect temp and so clean. The house was stocked with hand soap and had trash bags, tp, even bait! So nice to have some starter supplies !! Thank you!

Very nice house, great location

The house was well appointed with all of the necessary amenities to make our stay enjoyable. The bunk bed room was just what we needed for our 3 college age boys. The pool and hot tub were a lovely way for my friend and I to relax while our "boys" were off fishing. The bulkhead made it easy to hop into the boat and go whenever they wanted. The close proximity to shopping and dining were also a plus. We would definitely return to this home given the opportunity.

From start to finish this was one of the BEST VRBO experiences we have ever had. This house was absolutely perfect for our family of four (17/19 yr old sons). Spotless, perfect location, amenities were well thought out and very comfortable all around. The memories we created will last a lifetime. Thank you Lackey's for making this vacation absolutely perfect. We can't wait to visit again.

This property was amazing, inside was immaculate, exactly as pictured and the hosts, you couldn't ask for better, above and beyond accommodating our needs. The pool in front was private and full sunshine, mid-morning to afternoon, when we could enjoy it most. We filled the afternoons exploring the nearby restaurants and hot spots. or hanging out at the Cabana Club and beach about a mile away. The evenings sitting in the backyard by the canal and hot tub was more than relaxing. Would we stay here again? Absolutely, looking forward to it. We had a great time. House is hosted by great folks. House location on exit end of a wide canal close to Vaca Cut. Quick in and out. Nice pool right on property. Also had access to Cabana Club. Close to sunset beach and plenty of parking.

Wow- I can’t say enough about how amazing this home was! It was your own piece of paradise without even leaving! We vacationed with our in-laws and had something for everyone including privacy:) We stayed Thanksgiving week and the weather was a perfect 70-75. The pool made for a sunny relaxing morning and the hot tub was wonderful for the chilly evenings. Our teenage boys loved fishing from the dock in the backyard at all times of the day… we saw a bit of every kind of sea life :) The kayak was great .. I recommend enjoying a ride around each canal area to see how amazing the area is from the water.. the bike ride was a must! The homes in the Key Colony are breathtaking- what a wonderful and safe area! We drove to Key West for the day but recommend 2 or more days to enjoy all it has to offer! The Turtle Hospital was my daughters favorite and enjoyable for the whole family! We fished on the Marathon Lady and really enjoyed ourselves.. the owner and mates were great! It was a perfect first fishing trip for ages 8-75:) Sombrero Beach was the best! Nice clean beach area and plenty of places for beach chairs. We snorkeled at the Bahia Honda State Park. Lazy days is so yummy! The owners were amazing and would respond quickly and always available if needed:) The home has a new tile floor all over which was great! The rooms are spacious and the closets are all walk in with plenty of space! We honestly did not want to leave! The garage was nice to have as well! We fell in love with this home, community and area!

Great way to segue to Fall and College Football! Key Colony Beach is the best of best of Florida Keys.

What a fantastic place to stay for a vacation in the Keys. We had a wonderful time, we loved the pool in the front and the canal in the back. The house had plenty of room and was well stocked. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.

This is the second time we vacation at Key Colony. The first time had a blast, but this time it was way better and that was mainly due to being able to stay in this great property. The owner was quick to answer any questions. Plenty of docking space for my 35’ boat, super clean hot tub and pool. The enclosed garage was very useful to store our car and other all the water toys. Kids used the bicycles and kayak. The house was very spacious for our party of 6 + our Maltese. Very clean with plenty of items in the kitchen to prepare any meal you can think of. An all around winner!!!

My family of 5 had the absolute best time! The house was exactly as described, perhaps even a bit better. The house was very spacious and had everything you could possibly need. The pool and hot tub were amazing! And you can't beat having the canal access. Showers were perfect, great water pressure. Beds were also very comfortable. Key Colony was such a nice little community. We took the bikes one day over to the beach club which is just a few blocks away, and was super nice. Great central location to be able to easily explore all the Keys has to offer! The Turtle Hospital was right down the street which was so nice. We also had fun feeding the Tarpon at Robbie's and Sunset Jet Ski tour with Wakezone Watersports. We also rented a boat for a few days with Fishin' Fun. Overall it was one of our favorite vacations and staying here made us feel right at home! Definitely going to be a repeat customer! :) Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!!!!

This house is great for families. Very comfortable with plenty of space… Pool Is perfect when coming back from fishing or sandbar to relax and have a drink. Close proximity to everything..would definitely stay here again! Realtor and owner are quick to response if needed 😊

Very nice stay. We've lived in Key Colony Beach off and on for years and this was bar far the nicest place we've stayed. Very nicely furnished. Enjoyed the front pool but wish it had one of those sail awnings for shade though. Minor issues: Hot tub was a little small and only had one jet. Garage didn't have (or we couldn't find) a clicker so we didn't use it.

The total bliss and relaxation is contagious. Perfect, perfect, perfect location in Key Colony Beach (KCB). Amazing neighborhood with a cool old Florida feel. Jump in your boat from the back yard and you are literally minutes from the Gulf side or the Atlantic side, and bait and fuel docks. This place is great and the host is top notch. We will be back very soon!

We try to stay here every May and sometimes August as well. We love the house and Key Colony Beach!
