This trip was an absolute dream for me and my family. We could just sit in the dinning room and watch the ocean come in and out all day long. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us. The home was clean, the pm readily available, and the location quiet. We can’t wait to come back!

This house literally had all you ask for and then some. We had a girls' weekend here and had plenty of room to spread out. The place was so clean with so many cute touches including artfully arranging the tissue in its boxes. Everyone agreed the beds and linens were the most comfortable they have come across in a rental. We enjoyed how private it was, eating dinner on the top deck while taking advantage of the breathtaking views, taking a hot tub and making a fire in the fire pit. Wood is even included and they had plenty on the side of the house. The gas fireplaces in the kitchen and living room were also a plus. The beach was very private as well. We only saw a few people here and there with their dogs. Explicit directions and suggestions were left in the house which were so good to have at our fingertips. Just a half mile from downtown Gearhart, we had a fabulous brunch at Pacific Way Cafe. The coffee shop was great along with A Great Gallery next door. I can't wait to go back and spend more time. We only had two nights and we took full advantage, but I would recommend at least three nights. It's also just a couple of miles from Seaside with even more restaurants and a major grocery store.

Our third stay here - it never disappoints. The location can’t be beat. Fabulous views from the windows and decks. To be able to stroll out to the beach so easily is such a luxury. Whether you walk along the sand or through the dunes filled with grasses and wildflowers, it’s a delight. We were here with our teenagers and my sister-in-law’s family- 8 in total and we had plenty of space to ourselves and to come together for meals, puzzles and games. Roasting s’mores around the fire pit in the quiet of the night was a highlight. We’ll definitely be back. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommend.

We loved the location of this house, right on the river and easy access to the beach, with wonderful views all day long.

This house is in a perfect location! Great views, nice and private, and all the comforts of home. Very clean throughout the house, the kitchen is fully stocked and the beds were super comfy. With all the extra fun amenities this is a great choice!

There are not enough words in the world to explain how wonderful our experience was with the property manager and this beautiful home. From the moment we booked this magical home to the moment we left, our hearts felt seen and deeply cared for. You could feel the care and the smiles through all communications with the property manager, and the property offered countless opportunities for lifelong memories. When we walked into the home, it smelled fresh and prepared with thoughtfulness, and the view was life-changing. Peace and an escape from the worries of this world were given to us. We are eternally grateful to the property manager for offering this home to us/world. It's truly a gift. We can't express enough gratitude for giving us this epic moment in time.

We have enjoyed our stay at this Gearhart house. The location of the house is absolutely perfect, with amazing views of estuary and a feeling of peace and privacy. The house is very clean, beds are comfortable and there is enough space to spread out. Two bedrooms with king beds have spectacular views. The house is very well stocked with household supplies and fun items such as kayaks, bikes, foosball and table tennis, crab pot, razor clams tubes, firewood and fire pit. We lacked for nothing. At higher tide estuary is perfect for kayaking and crabbing off shore, at low tide it allows for walking to the del ray beach. Lots of hiking trails and easy walking to a coffee shop, and couple of restaurants in town. Very relaxing, thank you!

We appreciated the layout of the public areas, lots of sitting areas and places to chat. Especially appreciated the dog friendly amenities. The location is outstanding. The view from the house is unparalleled. The kitchen is extremely well appointed. Loved our bedtime hot tubs and the stars overhead. Everything was welcoming and very clean. Good communication with the hosts. We had a wonderful stay there.

We were in town for our son's basketball tournament. We arrived just minutes prior to sunset and it was stunning! The house is so comfortable and spacious. The location is outstanding and we cant wait to return when we have more time to enjoy the Estuary. The home was very clean and stocked with amenities. The hot tub, kayaks and firewood the owners provided was such a huge bonus. Thank you for sharing this incredible home with us!

This was our second stay at this vacation home, perfect for our extended family of eight (ages 13-81). Few cleaning and maintenance details were passed on to the host - odd in that they were things that seemed to have been broken and/undetailed for some time. I do hope standards stay high in this beautiful rental property as it is a wonderful house in the most beautiful of locations. We certainly hope to visit again and would recommend to others.

This property is out of this world! The beautiful tidal estuary right out the back door is such a unique experience and photos can’t do it justice ! We enjoyed every part of this house - the epic views from the hot tub, the cozy fire place, the comfortable beds, the large kitchen table for eating and playing board games, and the incredibly well stocked kitchen! We were there as two couples, a baby and two dogs and wish we could have stayed a week! The communication was clear and helpful and this truly feels like a luxury property. We mostly cooked but there’s lots of food options nearby. We were here in February so didn’t use them but tons of sand toys and bikes, ping pong, bbq etc. This is truly a special place and we will be back!

Great location, amazing views, well-maintained and equipped property. Plenty of room to spread out, wonderful great room on main floor for meals, games, relaxing around the fire. Highly recommend!

We crabbed, we clammed, we jacuzzied, we ate, we relaxed, we had a great time.

Wow. Exceptional, private location. Buckets of amenities. Sparkling clean, spacious, homey and had all the kitchen stuff we needed. Took advantage of the kayaks, baby gear, hot tub, crabbing and local (walkable) eateries. Honestly one of the best coastal we’ve stayed at on the Oregon coast and trust me we’ve stayed at many as we live in Oregon. Perfect for our family with a baby, toddler, adults and seniors. Cannot wait to go back.

Wonderful property and an amazing location!

We stayed for five nights as a break during a month-long camping trip and it was a wonderful experience. I reached out prior to booking to confirm that our camper could be parked in the driveway during our stay and the property manager's communication was prompt and professional (if you are considering the same request, the city allowed our camper in the driveway as long as no one was staying in it and it wasn't hooked up). Overall, communications were excellent. The property itself is very charming and exactly what we expected from the listing, and even a bit larger than expected. This is the first VRBO we've stayed in that has been up to my cleaning standards, including the kitchen cabinets and knobs, around faucets, around the trash can -- all of those places that quickly accumulate gunk were clean and sparkling. The cottage is exceptionally well stocked, with everything you need and none of the junk that accumulates in drawers and cupboards at so many VRBOs. We had our two dogs with us and other dog owners will know that there is a marked difference between "dog friendly" and "dog tolerant" -- this property is absolutely dog friendly! There is an antique wash kettle right inside the front door that has stainless steel bowls and old towels for the furballs. We had direct access to the beach, as expected, and beach walks at sunset were a highlight of our stay. Overall, a wonderful experience!

This was our second time staying at this incredible house in Gearhart. I still can't get enough of the view and we had the whole house filled with extended family (grandmother, caregivers, and children) plus our 2 dogs. We really enjoyed having our family meals at the long table, the hot tub, and having immediate access to the beach. We definitely will be making an annual trip to this property!

Had a great little vacation with the family. Property owners really nice and quick to respond. Place was clean and it has a view that’s so amazing wish we could have stayed longer. Plenty of things for the kids to do as well. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay! Kids enjoyed walking along bay and kayaking.

The house is very comfortable and accommodates a large family group. The setting is spectacular and very relaxing, great for walking the beach. We enjoyed all of the extra amenities like ping pong and the kayaks and the fire pit. We could have used more light in the living room for reading. We hated to leave because the place is so beautiful and comfortable.

Stayed for a long holiday weekend with my almost-2 year old, my husband, and three grandparents. The house really is RIGHT on the beach, with a gorgeous view and a few easy steps to sand or water depending on the time of day. The house was perfectly clean, provided not only some essentials like a pack-n-play and highchair, but has a garage packed with fun extras. There were plenty of beach todays for kids, a ping pong table we made great use of during a rainy afternoon. The hosts were very communicative, but know there are definitely several requests of guests for the check out process and clean up. Nothing unreasonable at all, but if you're looking for a hotel-like experience, this isn't it. Personally, I loved it and am hoping to come back.

We had an amazing time at the property and really enjoyed the beach, privacy and views. The kitchen was very well equipped for a home cook. Slight negative (but not a deal-breaker) ... some of the indoor furniture and top deck chairs weren't very comfortable especially for my 75 and 80 yr old parents, lots of hard edges. But the beds were super comfortable, the hot tub was perfect, and our dog had the time of his life coming and going from the beach to the back patio. The kids didn't want to leave. I'd recommend some more cushy seating next to the windows so that the amazing view can be enjoyed when the weather is bad. Luckily we had great weather and were outside most of the time. Will definitely return!!! Thank you!

We wanted to spend a few nights on an Oregon beach and this place was perfect. The estuary was beautiful and the fact you could walk to the coastline through the estuary was just very unique. The place was very clean and just as advertised. Loved it.

Great property for family gathering.

We brought our adult children and their families for a getaway. Everything was wonderful and we had a blast: crazy foosball and ping pong games, hot tub, fires, biking to town, bird watching, kayaking, golfing and seeing the elk come out at night. The house was clean, had everything we needed and communication was easy! Our kids want to come back.

My family and i had an amazing time. For my grandson and our dog it was " heaven". The location of the house is perfect and the tranquility of Sunshine Beach is wonderful. Best relaxing 5 days ever for the whole family. Thank you Malia for being such a good host.🌺

Ocean Breeze is a wonderful home base while visiting this lovely area. The location is situated between Cannon Beach and Astoria with an easy drive to each. The home was very clean upon arrival and supplied well. The views are to die for! We had a great stay and definitely would recommend this property.

The house and property offer privacy and convenient access to all things. The kitchen includes everything you could possibly need. The home is clean and well appointed. If you’re on the fence for some reason, don’t be! It’s wonderful. We will be back!

House nicely accommodated our family group. Setting is very quiet and, given location, is ever changing with tidal variation and many birds (terns, geese, ducks, seagulls, crows, eagles, osprey, etc.) Terns retrieve clams, gain elevation and drop them to slightly crack, then zoom down to retrieve contents. Pretty cool.

Beautiful home with lovely views and amenities.

We absolutely loved our stay! Our group included a three generation family, some based in Portland, some who flew from the Midwest, ages 6 to 70, and this house and location was enjoyed by all. Immediately upon arrival we marveled at the view, and found the house immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well stocked in terms of appliances and utensils. Communication with the owner was always quick and easy.
