Quiet and relaxing location, lots of places to walk and ride bikes, with the beach close enough to enjoy every day

We loved the house: 3 young children, their parents and grandparents-all had space to enjoy by themselves and also altogether. The kitchen, grill, deck and screened in porch were all well used. The garage option with bikes and beach toys was an added benefit especially having a place to keep sandy beach gear instead of bringing it into the house.

We had a fabulous stay at this home on Kiawah Island. It was exactly as advertised - note their video description - and very comfortable for our family of four. It was a short beautiful walk/bike ride to the beach and two of the bikes have baskets to bring home all your shell treasures found during your stay. Extremely comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Short drive to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you again for sharing your home with us.

We stayed with our two kids (9 and 11) and had the best stay. Location is easily walkable to beach and loved having the bikes and access to the garage. Wonderful family dinners and evenings playing games.

Our family enjoyed the visit. We made good use of the bikes, beach chairs, and toys in the garage.

The house was older and hasn't been updated (but we knew that going in from previous reviews). It was very clean and extremely well stocked. The kitchen had every imaginable utensil, pot, baking sheet, anything you could possibly need. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows in all of the bedrooms. No extra towels so we did have to wash towels several times throughout the week. The washer/dryer appeared to be brand new. The garage has probably 18-20 bikes of all sizes and even two tandum bikes - although we didn't need those. There were 5 or so boogy boards, sand toys, a cooler, a wagon and 8-10 beach chairs. That was a big bonus to not have to worry about renting bikes or bringing our own chairs. It was about a 8 minute leisurely walk to the beach - kids rode their bikes there in two minutes. Great location on a cul-de-sac street. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room in each bedroom. Would definitely stay here again despite the fact that it could use some upgrading.

We loved how close the house was to the beach and bike trails. Quiet neighborhood and the layout of the house was superb! Lots of room for everyone and every family group had their own bathroom. We enjoyed our visit on the island!

Overall, my family and our friends had a pleasant trip. Kiawah is very relaxing and the location of this house is excellent. We have been to the island before, but this is the first time at this property. Based on the photos and lower price, we knew this house had not been updated in 30+ years. Once we got inside, our suspicions were confirmed. Furniture, carpets, bedspreads and decor are very dated and have seen lots of heavy use. Doors and walls have grime on them from many hands and years of going without being washed. The beds were fairly comfortable. Towels were all new and is excellent shape. Kitchen was large and had an exorbitant amount of cookware and dishes. All appliances worked well. Utensils leave a bit to be desired but were adequate. TV in living room is a smart TV, is large and has cable. Also had a Netflix account. The detached garage has 20+ Adult beach cruiser bikes in it. They all required some TLC but were functional. Garage also includes beach toys, about 8 beach chairs which are in good working order, and a big wagon to pull down to the beach. There is an umbrella but it’s a massive market umbrella and would have been difficult to take to the beach. Check in was a bit of a confusing ordeal for multiple reasons, but that has been rectified. Owner is fairly responsive and attentive to issues if you need anything fixed or adjusted. Overall, the trip was a success as we ate a lot of fresh seafood (bought at the local store), spent a lot of time on the beach, and even played some twilight golf. The house was just a place for us (4 adults and 4 kids) to cook and crash. It wasn’t atrocious but it wasn’t spectacular. It is a solid “average”

Great location at the front of the island. Easy access to the beach leisure trails and fresh fields village. Good family space and large deck.

Great location for a holiday getaway. Kitchen was very well equipped, comfortable bedding, close to beach. We enjoyed the golf view and watching the golfers pass by. The owner was very accessible for questions.

Location is unreal, right off the 13th fairway at Cougar Point and 7 min walk to beach. Drove family 1,700 miles here from Colorado to work from home with kids in remote school. Spent a month on the island, and as much my family loves Kiawah, this location made this experience that much more special. Walks/runs/biking on the beach in the mornings, and hitting golf balls and throwing the football on the fairway after all the golfers were done in the evenings. Also, for those focused on internet speed like me, house had more than enough for me to work and both kids to log in for school over Zoom (150-200 Mbps :). Spent extra for the garage access which I highly recommend as they have beach chairs, a ton of bikes, coolers, etc, which means I didn't have to buy/rent that stuff and made the trips to the beach that much more convenient. Owners super responsive over text to questions, which made the experience easier as well.

The location was perfect ! Beautiful views of the golf course . We enjoyed the screened in porch both in the mornings and evenings . Check-in was smooth . Owners were attentive to any questions of concerns

Cozy home. This is our 3rd year to stay in this house. Great access to beach. Kitchen well equipped. Great floor plan and layout of house. Great front and back decks. Perfect for our family of 6 adults and two young children.

We had an awesome family vacation in a beautiful home. The perfect size for our family and close enough to the beach to ride a bike even carrying all the beach accessories. We will definitely make this a yearly vacation.

THe house is nicely laid out for vacations; Mom and Dad can sleep while the kids play. It's not really near the beach, but there's a beach entrance directly at the end of the closest street that goes to the beach. The house has been recently painted. The beds are comfortable, and it is spacious. It backs onto the fairway of the 13th hole of the Cougar Point course, but there isn't a lot of noise from golfers. The kitchen is fairly well outfitted. This is our 3rd Christmas in the house. The carpets are a bit worn, as are the floors, but nothing extreme. Our only real complaint had nothing to do with the house but with the fact that it had not been cleaned very well.

My family of five spent a week in this house, also hosting my parents and my wife's mother for their first visits to Kiawah. Finding a suitable property wasn't easy because we needed wheelchair access. There simply aren't many properties that fit the bill on Kiawah. This one was perfect, accessible using our portable ramp and with plenty of room inside for a wheelchair or scooter. Everyone felt comfortable. The location is great -- on the golf course and about a five minute walk to the beach. Even with an unusual heat wave, we were comfortable on the large, shaded deck and spent a lot of time out there. The property owners were a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond to ensure the house met the needs of our elderly guests. Just a tremendous trip and a great house. Highly recommend.

Our second family beach week in this home was as wonderful as our stay 2 years ago. The large, well equipped kitchen was great! The house was comfortable and provided plenty of space for 5 adults and 5 children. When we can gather our family all together again, we will certainly return to this lovely KI home. Very comfy house with plenty of room for lots of people to spread out...bedrooms are very quiet..you can't hear talking or the tv. Mattresses are also great. Big kitchen with most of what you need..we enjoyed this house thoroughly. Short walk to the beach. The neighborhood is peaceful as well.

We have stayed in this home for the last three years and look forward to our vacation all year long! We have stayed in other homes on the island and even owned one in the west beach for a few years. It's very important to regularly maintain A/C, pest control, appliances, etc. and this house has always been in great shape. My kids love the new bunk beds and we love the short bike ride to the beach and beautiful fairway views.

Your house was very comfortable for the 2 families and teenagers that came to Kiawah. Easy walk to the beach and tons of trails to jog or ride bikes on. Of the 4 bedrooms, one room has 2 sets of bunk beds so the teenagers were able to comfortably sleep together. All beds have nice linens and memory foam. Towels are plush. Kitchen is well-equipped. Large porch overlooking golf course with plenty of room for a large crowd. Great family beach memories!
