We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Very clean, well stocked, comfortable. Everything as promised. Travel to downtown Nashville was a little longer when traffic cooperated, but well worth the drive. The setting is a nice contrast to the city crowds. We were even greeted by deer when we arrived. We would stay here again if we return to Nashville.

Great cabin. Set up was amazing for a girls weekend. 4 ladies, and 3 bathrooms - what more could you ask for? The setting is very relaxing and beautiful.

Easy check in/out. Such a great cabin. Very clean/organized. As far as the driveway, you can avoid the potholes easily. Just go around them. Our vehicle isn’t 4 wd and doesn’t have awd Toyota Highlander, although it does have a little bit of clearance.We didn’t have any problems at all. I think a small car could handle it. Once inside the house the road noise is not an issue. Even if you’re outside it’s not a big deal. Lots of birds ~ nice to listen to them. The deck is pretty big ( 2 sides of the house) it worked out for our dog. She enjoyed going for walks around the property, taking in all the new scents. Highly recommend. Next time my husband has to be in Nashville for work, we will definitely book again. Thank you for sharing this wonderful property.

We loved the spacious cabin so much. The views off the deck were amazing and it was very peaceful (except for the nearby rooster that kept crowing). The driveway was just as the hosts described it with the various potholes in it and it was a bit of a "climb" for our car to get up to the cabin. It gave my mom a little anxiety every time I turned the car around to go back down. We loved that there were 3 bathrooms and that everyone kind of had their own space.

My husband and I had a wonderful mini vaca at Monty’s cabin The cabin was immaculate It was a very hot weekend in Nashville TN, but the cabin was very comfortable. We were able to relax in the evening watching NETFLIX The wrap around porch was perfect. We were able to get our dogs out and relax on the porch Only 30 minutes from our daughter and son in law All in all we had a great stay💕

We enjoyed our stay at Monty’s Cabin. It had everything we needed. Nashville was close enough to travel to, and still enjoy the seclusion of the cabin.

The cabin was nice. There are issues with things being not level. The drive has some serious potholes. If your looking for a cabin in the woods that is secluded and has a nice deck, this fits the bill.

We are from Miami, Florida and have always stayed around town for birthdays and trips. This year my family and I decided to surprise my partner with a trip to his favorite city which happens to be Nashville. He loves the outdoors so Monty’s cabin was a great choice to incorporate his likes. The cabin was amazing, clean and cozy. Felt just like home where we watched movies after a day out in town. Great place to stay!

Cabin was so cute and decorated so cute! Everything was perfect. My girlfriends and I had a great time. Would definitely recommend. The couches were so comfortable and made it easy to nap on our first day after driving 7hours to Tennessee. About a 20 minute drive from downtown Nashville which was great when we spent the day on Broadway. Thank you for letting us stay!

Lovely little cabin nestled up in the woods - we were in town for the Nashville marathon and looking for a dog-friendly location outside the city. Communication with the host was great, check in was easy, and the cabin was clean and well-stacked. Driveway is a bit of an adventure, especially in the rain. And the road noise does echo up the hills a little bit - not noticeable inside the cabin, but can be a little noisy when outside. The property was great for our dogs - isolated and mostly fenced in, with nice yard space and woods to explore. Access into Nashville is easy, and there are tons of food and activities in the surrounding towns if you don't want to deal with the Nashville traffic. Highly recommended - we would gladly stay again.

5 ladies came to Nashville and this was perfect place! Very large! Yet cozy. Huge wrap around deck for enjoying the surrounding woods. Some traffic noise but couldn’t really hear it inside. Decorated so cute and had absolutely everything to needed to cook and entertain ourselves. DVD player with dads and Cd player too. Will stay here again next time. Driveway is steep and needs some regrading but sure they’ll tend to that now that winter’s over.

Everything about property was outstanding! Easy, clean, and met all expectations.

My family and I enjoyed our second trip to the cabin. We loved it even more this time. The cabin is in such a great location. We love the town it is in and how close it is to Nashville. It is so nice to come back to the cabin and not be in the city at night. It is very relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed the deck every morning we sat out side and drank coffee and read the Bible together. It’s so peaceful out there. We look forward to coming back again. 💖

It was a great location. It was quiet but easy to get to the city. The road up is a little rough, but everything else was great.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was three friends on a friend trip. It was a quick 20min drive to Nashville. We was able to Uber to Nashville one night and it was not expensive. Gail was great and allowed us to check in early as we arrived way earlier than we expected. It was so nice to sit on the deck and have a few drinks in the peaceful space. The house is stocked will with everything you need to make meals. I will say the driveway needs maintenance so bad. If I would have had a car I might would have knocked my bumper off. Also the showers are super tiny, but have really nice showers with great pressure. Also i would suggest maybe getting better WIFI and a smart tv. We did watch some of the movies that was there. Our phones worked better without WI-FI. But I will say this is a place we would stay again. As it’s out of the city and a beautiful place to enjoy Nashville and surrounding city’s.

We stayed there for 3 nights to celebrate my husbands birthday. When we walked in it smelled like really bad mildew. The beds had bed bugs myself, daughter and husband are covered in bites from them. Then they questioned us about bringing a dog there and we never had one there. Was very disappointed in this place and will not be coming back here again.

We flew up for a heartbreaking funeral service for our nephew. We couldn’t have been happier with this cabin. It is roomy and so comfortable. We were pleased to see how clean and welcoming it is. All of us were happy with our rooms. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. We couldn’t think of anything that was missing or lacking in our stay. I can’t say enough good things about Gail, our hostess. She was so kind and helpful with any of our needs, including taking care of forgetful me for leaving our Kindles on the table. Seems I’m not as thorough as usual when I departed at 4am. Thank you Gail!

Wonderful setting.. Private.. Great place..

My 2 cousins and I were looking for a place to stay outside of the bustle of Nashville. This was a wonderful place because it was about 25 min from everything in Nashville. The house was clean and inviting. Gail was very very attentive to questions I had up until the evening before our arrival and even on the day of. The house was perfect- the kitchen was well-stocked and had everything you need to make meals. We stayed Thursday through Sunday and the only complaint was that it wasn’t long enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the house. I would highly recommend renting this property. It was exactly what we were looking for!!

This was a cute little cabin away from downtown. The owner was very responsive when we needed her. Our coffee maker stopped working after a few days and she had a brand new one delivered by that afternoon. She gave us a list of things to do and we accomplished about 70% of the recommendations. We had a blast. The kitchen is very well appointed for a VRBO. If we had a complaint, the 2nd king bed was squeaky.

Monty's cabin was great. A beautiful property, very secluded, quiet, and comfortable. The driveway needs some attention. It was difficult not to drag the bottom of our car, a SUV probably would have had better clearance. We were warned that ants might join us in the kitchen and they did even though we were careful with food. It was a good fit for our group and we enjoyed it.
