We had a wonderful time. The cabin was amazing and the property and view was breathtaking. We spent nights around the fireplace and days walking around Woodstock and shopping. It’s such a little town and it was lots of fun. It was definitely an experience that will last us a lifetime.

Wow! My fiancé and I booked this rental for our family and a few friends to spend a weekend together. We absolutely loved everything about the cabin. The views were incredible and more beautiful than the photos. The cabin is very modern and updated which was great, and we enjoyed using the kitchen, movie room, and game room during our stay. Just a note that the mountain roads are very steep so it's best to access the cabin via a larger car with 4 wheel drive. But we had no issues once we got the cabin and knew the way! We also pinned the location on our Apple Maps which was helpful. Appreciate the communication with the host and the cleanliness of the cabin. Would love to stay here again in the near future, it is a real treasure! If you're considering booking, open your heart to this wonderful little cabin and prepare for a fun, relaxing vacation--even if just for a weekend! Thanks again Jenny for being a wonderful host.

The pictures don't do it justice. The cabin is really cool, and a great amount of space with the second floor loft over the living room. The huge A-frame windows on the second floor and wall of sliding glass doors on the first show off a seriously impressive view. The wraparound deck with grill is awesome. The fire pit area with hammocks is very cool as well. And the volleyball court was a lot of fun! Plus with ping pong and home theater room in the basement the property really offers a lot. We stayed in the summer and were lucky to have perfect weather and access to the loft over the garage which provided nice extra space to spread out at night and adds another full bathroom. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Exceptional!
The property was truly one of the most beautiful I've seen. The house was large, beds comfortable, and kitchen very well-appointed. The grounds were beautiful, very remote, and had a great view of the surrounding area.
The one caveat is that there's limited service, and the wifi was a bit slow our weekend. This didn't bother us since we were able to be even more present throughout the weekend. Truly had a blast, and hope to return soon!

Great House, loved the porch!
Enjoyed a great weekend at the Glenford house! Spent most of our time out on the porch enjoying the amazing view during the day and the stars at night. I'd say it was even better than advertised! Inside was clean, comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities we could need. Jenny was a pleasure to work with and we'd definitely recommend the Glenford to anyone who wants a lot of space at a quiet peaceful house with lots of activites.

We spent an awesome weekend at this location. From the very first contact with Jenny until the completion of our stay everything about this location was excellent. The house, grounds and views are beyond amazing! The game room & movie room in the basement as well as the horseshoes outside was an added plus. Highly recommend staying at this beautiful cabin!

An extraordinary place and experience.
The property owner was very kind and helpful. The place is spectacular. We saw some amazing sunsets and could wake up in the morning and overlook the clouds in the mornings. The little fire circle was a special experience. I had a small teen retreat (which I should not have done because I did not have permission). The kids were in awe and found it a life-changing experience. For families with children of any age, the bunk bed rooms are perfect. I recommend this place for anyone.

Beautiful mountain cabin in secluded woods. Complete and thoughtfully arranged facility. The hosts attention to details is amazing.. don’t miss the opportunity for a sunset dinner on the balcony. PERFECT weekend away!
We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The space was perfect for a group of friends looking to get out of the city for a while. The shining star of the property was the beautiful deck overlooking the mountains, with just enough adirondack chairs for our whole group. The kitchen was also beautiful, and we took advantage of both the indoor fireplace and the outdoor fire pit. Definitely keeping this listing in mind the next time we want to get away again!

To celebrate rate my husband's 30th birthday we rented the cabin , We had a wonderful weekend of relaxation and celebration with our friends and family. best part of the cabin was the views from the deck!, i cannot even explain how amazing it was to sitting at night looking at the clear sky and stars!

I would just say when you plan to go, reach there before sunset as the roads are little confusing and narrow once you start going up towards the cabin and with little or no network you might get lost. so better to reach before sunset.

The view is magnificent. Cabin is perfect -even better than the pictures. Nice open concept was great for our group as we did a lot of cooking, dining and hanging by the fire. Kitchen is well outfitted. Jenny was very responsive and helpful for all of our questions/needs.

50th Birthday celebration
We had a wonderful weekend of rest, relaxation, and celebration. To celebrate rate my husband's 50th birthday we rented the cabin with another family of friends. We completely unplugged. The views from the deck are intoxicating. The seclusion and privacy of the cabin was magical. The quiet, star gazing, sunsets, woods, outdoor fire pit, hammocks, indoor fireplace were perfect. The basement was equipped with ping pong, food ball, and movie room. We definitely hope to return to enjoy everything offered by this truly magical place!

Magnificent alpine escape
This secluded cabin is perfectly sighted on the top of Tonche Mountain, with stunning views across the valley. It is very cozy and well appointed. We had a wonderful time here over Halloween weekend. Would definitely come back.

Amazing Mountain Getaway
This is an amazing home nestled on a mountain top. It felt like an adventure, it was so remote and private yet a quick drive to Woodstock. The views were amazing, sunsets every evening, starry skies at night and an amazing place to watch lighting storms!
The house is stocked with everything a family would need, movies, games, books, binoculars, grill, hammocks! Only downfall was the internet, you won't be zooming but you are in the clouds so who cares. We had a wonderful time here and will be back again and again.

Beautiful house with an amazing view! Peaceful weekend with the family. The room above the garage gave my teenagers the Independance they were craving for! Location is 20-25 minutes from civilization if that matters. Wish it had a hot tub or pool but it was perfect for what we were looking for! Will go again!

Beautiful retreat
Jenny's cabin is exactly as it looked online: remote and private with a spectacular view (the main reason we chose it), open living room/kitchen/dining area, a comfortable bed. There were only 2 of us, so we didn't use the other bedrooms & sleeping areas. The cabin is exceptionally well appointed, with many thoughtful touches. Jenny's directions were excellent, and she was very responsive -- important for us because Hurricane Isaais hit the day we were supposed to arrive, causing blocked streets in both our neighborhood and the road up the mountain where the cabin's located. We had to delay the trip until roads were cleared by the next morning. Once we arrived though, we were so glad we chose this listing! Really beautiful spot.

Amazing family getaway
Four families were able to get together on a lovely fall weekend and soak up the views from every angle of the cabin. A true getaway from the city. It had everything for cooking and a comfortable stay that we left many of our staples in the car. We rarely saw the children because they were busy playing ping pong and foozball in the basement or frolicking in the woods, in hammocks, or playing volleyball outside. The one time they did come out was to help start the fire pit and roast marshmallows or wind down before the fireplace at night. We were so close to Woodstock and only ate out for one meal before a great hike. Everyone loved the cabin inside and out.

A special place to create lasting memories
My friends and I pick a weekend every Fall for a "guys hiking trip". This year we went to Jenny's cabin in upstate NY. I can't say enough good things about it. It was completely secluded, with unbelievable views. Inside the house was perfectly clean, with great amenities and lots of character. We always plan to have a big dinner on the Saturday of the weekend on the property that we rent. The cabin accommodated us easily, with all the cooking implements we needed. After dinner, we were all able to sit comfortably and watch playoff baseball and take breaks to play ping pong, foosball, and horseshoes by the fire pit outside. I really can't recommend it enough. It is a special opportunity to stay there.
