If we could give more than 5 stars we would! Our stay at Wayne and Josie's condo was perfect. The condo was exceptional in cleanliness and the most well stock condo we've ever stayed in. Wayne and Josie have thought of everything you need to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. They have supplied all the beach equipment needed for a fun day at the beach. Also you have all the kitchen supplies as well if you want to cook all your meals. The condo was perfect for my husband and myself. It was comfortable and cozy. The view is stunning and access to the beach and pool is just steps away! Wayne called upon our arrival to make sure we were happy with the condo and to contact him with any needs. Also before we even checked in he emailed us to let us know we could check in early. He also called before our departure to thank you for staying at their condo. Very nice man and communicates extremely well. The weather was perfect all week. You just can't beat the beautiful soft white sand and blue water on Sunset Beach. And the beach is not crowded at all but close to many things to do which we loved. We spent a few days at John's. Pass, did a shelling excursion at Shell Island which was incredible. I would suggest eating at Crabby Bill's, Sloppy Joe's and R Bar. This had been the best beach vacation and condo we've ever stayed at! We can't wait to come back and make Wayne and Josie's condo our place to vacation at the beach!

Beautiful well kept condo right on the beach!! Wayne is a wonderful, welcoming and responsive host. We go to Sunset Beach every year and this has been the best location with the best host! Thank you Wayne see you next year if not sooner!

Such a great place to get away and thoroughly relax on the beach. The condo was so comfortable and cozy-had everything a person could possibly need and then some. We hope to return to this wonderful spot in the future. Thanks again.

absolutely loved this place, very cozy little condo, perfect for 1-2 in the very comfortable king size bed (I did not use the queen size sofa bed); definitely the most well-stocked VRBO that I've ever booked, a welcome note (and a few masks) greeted me along with some Ghiradelli chocolates (nice touch); truly appreciated the welcome call upon arrival, definitely made me feel welcome (and the owner living across the street made it super convenient when I had an issue with the cable TV, which was quickly fixed); restaurants and grocery close by and nice (and safe) places for morning walks; easy drive back and forth to Tampa airport; the place was very clean and went beyond my expectations, highly recommend!

Everything was exactly as described. Plus having everything extra we needed for the beach without having to pack it and haul it from home. Excellent communication. Highly recommend.

My husband and I, along with our 6 year old son, drove about 13 hours from Kentucky for vacation here. We were nervous about choosing the perfect spot for us. When I tell you this place is perfect I’m not joking. Don’t let the outer appearance of this older building fool you. We parked in the parking lot (super convenient) and took the elevator to our room. Upon entering the place immediately felt like home. Super clean! Cleanest vacation spot we have ever been and we have done our share of traveling. The owners, Wayne and Josie live just across the street and are there for anything you need. Everything has been thought of for you here. Super comfy and power reclining living room chairs. Chairs for the balcony if you choose to use them. We never did. You can literally sit on the couch and the ocean feels like it’s steps away already. A closet full of beach chairs, umbrella, mat, floaters, boogie board and more that you can use. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. Any food you don’t use you are welcome to leave for the housekeeper. She passes it along to others that are less fortunate in the area. The walk-in shower is so nice after a day on the beach. Complete with rainfall shower head and a detachable shower head as well. We also took advantage of the washer and dryer at the facility that’s super close to the room. You have to pay a little to use it but so worth it. No dirty clothes to pack home! Pool was also great. 2 outside showers to rinse off the sand before you enter the pool. 3 ft-6ft pool so all ages can enjoy! Several outdoor bbq grills you can use out front. We went to the grocery store and forgot charcoal. No worries, there was a full bag to use in our room!! The king size bed and bedroom was peaceful and comfortable. The lighted artificial palm tree in the living room really brought the beach inside. The most delightful surprise we had was seeing how truly close the ocean was to the condo. We brought a wagon and rolled everything from the beach to the condo with ease. I know this post was super long but I can’t say enough about this place. This is the hidden treasure at treasure island/sunset beach you have been looking for! All of the people at Sunset beach were super friendly. This is a very laid back, small beach community with a short drive to lots of restaurants and shopping. Don’t skip Caddy’s! We ate there twice and everything was great!!

Our stay was wonderful! The location is a short drive to the grocery store and restaurants, and the beach is gorgeous and not crowded. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable, and Wayne was incredibly kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Wayne and Josie have set the bar high on rentals. I did a lot of research to find the perfect rental during COVID. Every review for Wayne and Josie's condo commented on how clean the condo was and they are right. The condo was very clean, organized, fully stocked (towels, linens, pillows, blankets, dishes, etc.) and it smelled good. Wayne was simply amazing. He communicated via phone and email. He was extremely responsive. Access to the condo was simple. I received a warm welcome with a handwritten note from Wayne and Josie to include face masks (thank you) and chocolates. The ocean view from the condo is breathtaking. I prepared all of my meals in the condo. Everything I needed was literally at my fingertips. Thank you Wayne and Josie for being such gracious hosts.

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet area - only 1 restaurant in walking distance but a short drive to lots of other restaurants. Grocery store within short driving distance. Loved the beachfront location.

Mr Wayne was very nice , easy to communicate with via text or phone call throughout the whole process from the initial booking up until the day we checked out . The condo was clean and had everything we needed . I plan to visit St Petersburg again and hopefully book the condo for my next vacation.

We cannot say enough good things about this property! The view is amazing, the beach is only steps away! The condo was clean and comfortable. Wayne, the owner, was great to deal with! We let him know during our first day there that the beach umbrella was broken and he personally delivered a brand new one within a few hours! We also had a late flight home and he gave us a late checkout without being asked so we wouldn’t have to wonder around all day until our flight! We will definitely stay here again whenever we come to this area!

The property was well maintained,excellent shape updated and modern fully furnished except food and clothes. Wayne and Josie were excellent Hosts wanting your stay to be comfortable and enjoyable. The condo was excellent with all modern appliances and big screen HDTV with cable and WiFi well decorated with a beach feel with all the amenities of home.Right on the Beach beautifull sunsets from the balcony or picnic tables by the beach. Beach is right in front of the condo with only a few footsteps to the water less than 100 yards Beach chairs,towels,and umbrella provided, even a fishing pole if one wants to surf fish you could not ask for anything more. when we go back it will be here.

Came here with my wife&2 kids and the first view was really gasping;) We walked in to find a warming welcome-note from Wayne. I’ll write about 2 things (Wayne& his condo) and( sunset condominium). 1- Wayne& his condo: Very clean condo which is equipped with everything u need and might need! Beach toys ( my kids were so happy to find them)& beach chairs and umbrella & coffe machine& slow cooker& even a nutri-bullet! The condo isn’t very spacious but very well designed; with a king bedroom& queen sofa and 2 recliners. The view from the condo is breathtaking; my wife&I woke up very early each morning to view the sunrise. We were in the 2nd floor which gives a great view plus we were able to watch the pool as well. Wayne is super amazing! He’s very kind, always on top of things, super speed in responding to any question or need. I asked him if we could leave late on Tuesday bc our flight was departing at 4:30pm and he made some phone calls and got back to me saying:” u can leave whenever u want” after contacting the cleaning team and arranging for them to come on Wednesday! Ask him anything at anytime; he’s always there to take care. 2- Sunset cheateue condominium, The place is very nice with “Caddy’s on the beach” so close and “Publix super market” At the corner; u will need nothing! Unless, u wanna go to eat outside or shop. I gave 4 stars not 5 because of 3 things, 1- the washer and dryer are located outside the condo. Which wasn’t clear in the description when I booked, I thought it’s inside. 2- there isn’t a bathroom beside the pool! So, if u have kids and u r at the beach or the pool; u will have to go to your condo to use the rest room. 3- I guess it’s because of the start of low season, there was a nice shower located between the beach and the pool. It was helpful if u wanna shower before going to the pool or rinse your feet from sand. I only used it 3days out of 7! Nobody was there to fix it and the pool started to have some sand residues on bottom. But even with these small disadvantages, I will definitely still coming back!

We are beyond satisfied with our stay. The location was perfect. Close enough to lots to do but the beach was not crowded at all. The condo had everything we needed and more. Wayne was awesome! Great communication. Was available of needed. He made us feel at home. We will be back.

We originally booked somewhere else and our original condo filed bankruptcy and would not uphold our reservation. LUCKILY I found this condo and Wayne and Josie were so helpful in making sure that we got our reservation booked! We had the pleasure of meeting the house keeper that cleans the condo and she was so nice and accommodating when we arrived early! The condo was spotless and had all the amenities and so much more! Wayne also went out of his way a couple of times throughout our stay to check up on us and to make sure we had everything we needed! I would definitely recommend to stay in this condo! The view is amazing and so close to the ocean compared to every condo we saw on the island. We are already looking into next year and flexing our schedules just so we make sure we can have this condo again!

This the 1st time staying at this place an we already asked to book again. If your like me you are always concerned if your going to a new place if it will be clean. This place was spotless, decorated not like the usual vacation spots. It was very comfortable and we were more than pleased with our stay. Great location for the beach an some restaurants. you won't go wrong staying here/

The condo was equipped with all you need and more. Very up to date. Very clean and tidy. I would recommend this rental unit to everyone. The view and beach are amazing. The next time I come back I will definitely try and stay here.

We loved this place. I have stayed at this place in the past but at a different unit. Both times were good but Wayne was just great. I stayed with my elderly parents. Wayne was so responsive and attentive to our needs. We walked in to a welcoming note. The view from the room is to die for, right on the beach. The name speaks for itself, sunsets were absolutely beautiful. We had plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, the unit was equipped with everything we needed. Parking was convenient and safe. This has become my get-away place. Thank you Wayne! Angie

Great location! Wayne, the owner was helpful and great to deal with. Condo had everything we needed. It rained some days but was still able to get on the beach.
