Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this immaculately clean and modern apartment! Our host, John, was extremely helpful in his communication and his nearby restaurant recommendations, market day info, airport transfer arrangements, etc, were much appreciated! Walking in the Plaka neighbourhood and surrounding areas felt safe no matter the time of day or night and there are LOTS of nearby restaurants, bars, and coffee shops to choose from!

We loved our stay at Ioannis' place in Athens. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and safe, and a very close walk to all of the attractions. Ioannis had his driver pick us up from the airport and he gave us great tips on what to see and when and was just delightful and informative the whole way. Communication with Ioannis was excellent too...he gave us a ton of terrific recommendations for our stay in Athens as well as our later stay in Paros. The apartment is very comfortable and had everthing we needed. Made for a wonderful time in Athens.

Very good stay at Ioannis flat. Appartment is modern and clean and has sufficient spacre for 4 people. Good location (walking distance from the acropolis museum). The area is quiet and safe. I especially enjoyed taking my breakfast on the small balcony. I can only recommend Ioannis' appartment.

excellent stay in luxury but also cosy apartment in the heart of Athens. This was an excellent home for our city trip in a lively and safe neighborhood at 10 min walking from the Acropolis. Highly recommended!

What a vacation in Athens! We highly recommend this apartment. We loved the apartment, it’s location and convenience to shopping, dining and local tourist attractions. The kids are still talking about the apartment and what features they want added to their rooms.The apartment is clean, modern and has a wonderful ambiance. The location is perfect. We enjoyed the walk to the Acropolis, Parthenon, prison of Socrates, Roman agora, etc… there are so many places to visit that are within walking distance. We enjoyed the local restaurants that were by the apartment and the late night walks home. John, the owner was great and answered all our questions thoroughly! He arranged to have us picked up by a nice taxi driver who gave us details of the area and sites as we went to the apartment. We plan on coming to Athens again and this will be our place of choice!

We had a lovely stay in this very modern apartment within easy walk to many attractions. Ioannis was extremely helpful with anything we needed. The neighbourhood felt very safe. Shopping was close by as well as several cafes and bars. I would definitely recommend this apartment as a place to stay if you want to be close to the Acropolis.

It would be my sincere wish that John had properties in each city my wife and I cruise from. He also went above and beyond in arranging all transportation for our stay in Athens. The transportation was provided by a very polite, prompt and engaging driver named John.

This apartment is all you could ask for in a happening and central location in Athens!!! It had everything it advertised and that you would need for a short stay in Greece. Would not recommend for more than 4 people but very Good.

This apartment was the perfect place to use as home base in Athens. It's close to everything -- tourist sites, restaurants, markets -- and the owner is incredibly helpful and responsive. We loved it!

Great property for two nights pre-cruise. John arranged for pick up at Athens airport. Small issue not having a large enough taxi for four adults plus bags. John was helpful in allowing us to store our luggage for the day so that we could continue to explore Athens prior to arrival at the cruise terminal. John is very responsive to messages and was most accomodating. I would not hesitate to stay again if I return to Athens.

We loved our stay - the apartment was in an ideal location and we enjoyed walking to all the top destinations and neighborhood restaurants. The apartment had all we needed and was perfect for travelers: laundry, full kitchen etc.

This was a nice place exactly as advertised. Ioannis was helpful with the booking and arranging our cab to the airport. Unexpected bonus, the cab driver continued our tour pointing out sites of interest and history along the way. I admit to being in travel mode at that point so it was nice to have a reminder that the vacation wasn’t over yet. Our only problem was minor-there were multiple key boxes outside the unit and even though the directions I received from VRBO said there were pictures attached, they weren’t there. Luckily the second key box I tried was the right one. It’s the one that doesn’t look like all the others. 😃

The property was beautifully renovated. The beds and bedding were virtually new, and super comfortable and the property was really quiet at night. We all had an amazing sleep. The owner was extremely responsive and really helpful. He organized a fantastic taxi driver for all of our outings, and made a reservation for us at a restaurant we were having trouble connecting with a table looking right at the Acropolis. Thanks.

This was a great property. Ioannis was great at answering every question I had. Arranging transportation, etc. This was my first trip across from the states and he always reassured me. Definitely glad that I booked the same Vrbo with Ioannis for my stay after our island excursions. My daughters loved this place as well.

This property has everything you need. It is in a great location, walking distance to the Acropolis, Plaka area and very close to a grocery store. There is an elevator but we only used it to bring up and down the luggage. Communications with the host was excellent. He provided clear instructions to access the apartment as well as arranged taxi pickup at the airport. He also informed us about lockers where we could keep our luggage after checkout and arranged taxis for this as well.
Overall a perfect place to stay in Athens.

Everything about this apartment was great! It was very clean, stylishly decorated and well stocked. It was definitely a haven and enjoyable place for us to return to everyday after our many adventures. The area always felt safe, even at night and its proximity to the Metro, restaurants and Acropolis worked out well also. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Atens!

We spent four nights here. Easy access by foot to all the major sights. Excellent dining within three blocks. The owner is so easy to work with. Very rapid response to all inquiries. Beware that the hot water quantity is a little limited.

The apartment is close to everything but just far enough away that you're out of the crowds. The neighborhood is quiet with numerous restaurants and markets nearby. The apartment is in an extremely quiet building and has all of the modern conveniences that you would expect.
Finally, the host, John, was exceptional and a pleasure to work with!

First & Foremost , the Host John communicated since Day 1 as well as throughout our stay . When entering this quant neighborhood , we saw an open market and plenty of restaurants, shops , and transportation options to the sites . This apartment is modem , sleek , and functional . There are 3 thermostats to control the temperature in each bedroom as well as the living room. Amenities included an iron and ironing board as well as a blow dryer . Now that’s convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and there are many restaurants within walking distance as well as transportation. Ex, Bus , metro , and taxi . Staying at John’s home felt like our home . This was the smoothest part of our vacation .

I had the pleasure to stay in this modern well equipped apartment in the heart of Athens. John was a wonderful host and arranged his wonderful well informed friend who’s name is John also, to provide transportation to and from the airport. The accommodations were perfect and perfectly located near everything. The metro was close by and only minutes from the acropolis. Just a few minutes walk from the apartment are so many great restaurants and sidewalk cafes. I spent my birthday roaming the city and touring so many beautiful sites with so much incredible history. If you want to experience Athens, you’ll have no problem with this great location. Two comfortable bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. I would not hesitate to stay on my return.

John, our host was exceptional in helping us get to his property, when we exited from our Cruise ship. He has a very nicely furnished and comfortable property. Very well situated to all the major Historical sites. This is a 5 star property with a 5 star host.

We spent 5 days here in October and loved it. Great host who goes out of his way to ensure everything is perfect.
Location is idea - can walk everywhere and located on a side street, not a noisy main road.

This apartment was wonderful. The apartment was exactly as the listing showed. Everything was new and worked great. Our host was very helpful with check-in and even met us there to show us the apartment. He arranged for a taxi to pick us up when we landed at the airport. We were close to major attractions. We would recommend this apartment to anyone and would love to stay there again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Koukaki. The neighborhood was very peaceful yet within easy walking distance to the archeological sites. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely recommend this listing.

OMG. What a great find!! John personally met us at the door and communicated via airport transport! This place was spotlessly clean, modern and in a great location! The linens and beds were of the best quality. The neighborhood was not only safe but one block down there were the best (20) restaurants/bars! John was so great about letting us ck in our baggage early and was adorably friendly!
