Two families came together to celebrate Mimi's 60th birthday. The room set up was perfect for our group & it was the best place we've ever stayed for kids! There was a great selection of toys and helpful items for the beach, a ton of fun things to do at the house, the kitchen has a bunch of stuff in it to make cooking a breeze, and the hosts were great with all their tips and recommendations! We rented a golf cart from one of their recommended vendors and it was great! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful experience for my grandchildren. There was so much to entertain them with. Highly recommend for a family with children under 13

This was our second time staying at this house. I love that it is so fully stocked and the owners communicated with us a lot. The only reason for a lower star was the cleaning crew was still there after check-in time. But we love this house and will probably be back. It's great for 2 families to share.

All was great; except complaints about uncomfortable beds on main floor and TV in main room never worked. Could watch DVD’s though.

My brothers and I rented this great place for our moms 60th birthday. We had family from ages 4-60 and the place was great for everyone. Short walk to the beach and the cabin was stocked with everything you can think of !

Our stay was fantastic. This home has everything you need and more. We will definitely stay here again and for longer.

We loved our stay. The house was perfect for two families with small kids (ages 3 and 6). There were so many great toys and books and games. The kids had a blast and so did the grown ups! We definitely hope to stay here again!

This was such a wonderful stay for our three families (3 couples and 4 kids) getting together. The open vast space and tall ceilings of the living room, kitchen and dining area was the scene of resting, relaxing, family dancing, eating, puzzle-doing, talking to each other while cooking and oh so much fun. The foosball table and table tennis were the highlight of the 6 year old and 76 year old’s time, especially during rainy nights, while others also enjoyed the kites and beach stuff available to use. The beds were cozy and for those particular about firmness of beds, I’d test them out and choose the one you most prefer. For our toddler, we moved one of the kiddo mattresses from the bunk beds to our room to create a little bed. There’s also an extra cot, so our family had so many options to make things work. The proximity to the beach was perfect as we got to enjoy short family walks to the ocean, while still being able to see the ocean from the window. The kitchen is perfect with all the plates/pots/pans/etc you would have in your own home. The deck attached to the living room/kitchen was spacious for eating, coffee-drinking, relaxing and blowing bubbles.:). There were also so many books and games available for young and old which also made it feel like home. Alice, the host, was very responsive and the attention to detail that she put into this VRBO shows her amazing hospitality and care. Every member of our family (from the 1 year old to 76 year old) loved this stay and we are grateful for a wonderful, spacious, thoughtful space that provided incredible memories!

The house is wonderfully appointed and great for families, even those with little ones. The layout is very comfortable for multiple families getting together. The kitchen is notably well-stocked with quality items to cook with. Fridge was clean and we used water and ice from the fridge without any issue. I've stayed at many vacation rentals in Galveston and this home offered the most comforts that I've experienced. It felt like I was staying at home. Would definitely come back!

It’s was super easy to rent this house for the week and the Host answered any questions we may of had and also gave us some helpful hints for the trip.

This house 🏠 was great, exceeded our expectations. The house is so close to the beach you can see it from both upper decks. The young ones enjoyed the old fashioned video console with the old fashioned games (pac-man, galaxy etc.). The other amenities (beach chairs/tent/shade and toys) the owners provide made our beach excursions worthwhile. I highly recommend this house to families looking for a beach getaway.

Our family had a great time here celebrating our daughters birthday. Alice and Mark have a wonderful home, where they’ve truly thought of everything you could need while staying at the beach with small children. Plenty of cooking necessities to make meals for your family, a charging station in case you forgot a phone charger, toys and games… the list goes on! It’s nicely cleaned and well maintained. The only thing we would suggest needing a change would be the beds. They were rather hard for all of us, but that most definitely didn’t ruin the trip.

Our teenagers....and adult boys loved the Atari table top game. My youngest son even learned how to play the guitar that was in the closet. This property is perfect, because it has everything you need for the beach and the owners are very hospitable.

The house was clean and well decorated. The owner, Alice, was very responsive and made sure that we were taking care of! Thank you so much!

This house was perfect for our extended family. It is very clean and well kept and has everything you’d need for a great beach vacation. Our kids loved the pac man table top arcade and all the children’s books. We also really appreciated the outdoor shower (with hot water!) for rinsing off before going inside. Overall, great location and great house!
