Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house was clean and so conveniently located and laid out. Our only tiny complaint was that the bed mattresses for the twin beds were quite outdated and uncomfortable. However, we would definitely return.

It's a gorgeous house in the most amazing location. Just as described! It was perfect for our trip. We'd stay again! Note that Google directs to the wrong location. The correct opening on Market Street is next to the Barber shop, not Costa!

This is a lovely house in a great location. Unfortunately for us, after a long journey to the house, upon arrival (at approx 7pm) it was clear that the cleaners hadn't been in to clear up from the previous guests... The place was a mess with dirty sheets and towels in all rooms, a dirty kitchen and balloons everywhere (they'd clearly celebrated a birthday or something). I messaged the owner who didn't respond and seeing as we had to go out for a family dinner and I didn't want to come back to a dirty house with unmade beds for the children, I embarked on tidying the house, finding clean laundry and making the beds. The owner did respond whilst we were out, apologising and offered to send someone round, but we arranged this for the next day. Apart from the apology no form of refund was offered - which, to be honest, I thought was pretty poor - at least the cleaning fee could've been offered... Apart from that, the house is lovely and in a great location. And St Andrews is fantastic!

Our second stay at this lovey cottage. The alterations since our last visit have made a big difference.Ideal to both play and watch the golf. Plenty of other attractions to visit. A shame the weather was so awful this trip.

Great location ,wonderful town . The location could be better supplied . 5 people only 1 toilet paper roll, no paper towels. Could use labels on the some of the buttons so you know which ones turn on the micro wave etc..

Spent a week with a couple friends playing golf at anear Saint Andrews. Can't imagine there is a better location in town. I have already been in contact with t he owner and will be going back again next year.

Located in the middle of the bustling University area. Very convenient, well equipped, and clean. Private parking provided which is a premium in that area…awesome!! Located in a private courtyard with a few other houses but plenty enough privacy.

This was a bucket list trip for us and I can't imagine there would be any place better for us to stay. In the heart of St Andrews near everything one could need: great restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and a grocery shop just steps out of the courtyard. It was also easy to manage our golf clubs and the cottage is just minutes away by taxi to all of the courses we played. Martyn was helpful and responsive when we had questions and our stay was fantastic! We hope to be back again to enjoy this wonderful setting. Bravo

The property is ideally located just off Market Street. Many restaurants, bars and shops are within easy walking distance and the first tee of the Old Course is but a 10 minute walk. Property was very clean and nicely appointed. I would definitely rent again.

We were a family which were gathering for a wedding in the town. Lovely house and a fabulous central location which is very quiet. The house is fully equipped for catering, laundry etc and is a home from home. There are wee extras such as board games for adults and kids. Fast wifi and netflix. Plenty parking. [For those who are interested there are some medieval domestic structures in the boundary wall]. A cleaning team arrived as we departed and the three ladies do a great job keeping it spick and span. I had a few queries before and during my stay which were answered really quickly by Martyn.

The property is exactly as advertised. Could not be a better location. We have already confirmed rental for a future trip. Highly recommend.

super location in the old town of St Andrews. central but quiet

One couldn’t ask for a better location right in the heart of St. Andrews. Everything that one needed was within walking distance and it was wonderful to have a private parking space right now or front door. The unit is well appointed with a spacious living and kitchen area and even though the bedrooms are small, they are all that a traveler requires. The bedding was comfortable and covers warm. We hope to stay there again during our next visit.

We had a great stay here. The house was immaculate and the fixtures within it are all to a high standard. Perfectly located in the centre of St Andrews yet quietly tucked away off the Main Street. Would definitely recommend.

My friend and I enjoyed a WONDERFUL stay at this property. It was a three minute walk to the St. Mary's campus (where I spent business hours) and was centrally located to all manner of shops, restaurants, etc. It was quiet and tidy and cozy. The area felt very safe. Martyn was extremely responsive whenever we had questions about the house, and he was generous in his advice about the area and transportation. It would be a pleasure to stay at this home for future trips to St. Andrews. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay!

Lovely property in the centre of town with parking space. Located in a quiet courtyard yet only a stones throw away from the town centre. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable and includes a beautfully renovated kitchen living room.

Good property centrally located in St Andrews. Large enough for 2 adults and 2/3 children. 2nd bedroom small and more suitable to children than adults. Single bedroom also small. Family bathroom has a deep tub with shower over the bath which could be difficult for older people to feel safe stepping into. Overall a great house for a vacation in St Andrews.

The house is in a quiet courtyard off the street yet close to shopping and cafes. It is well equipped and a good place to relax.

Last year we looked for a place to rent while in St Andrews for our sons wedding Seeing the house and location seemed perfect for our needs It certainly did not disappoint. Everything was perfect Would definitely recommend it

This location could not have been better. You're right in the middle of all of the shops, University buildings and restaurants. You're only a short walk to the beach. And an easy drive to golf. The off-street (behind the shops) location of the house made it quiet amidst the bustle of nearby streets. And having a private parking spot was superb. The gas fireplace was very much appreciated to warm up next to on chilly days. Overall, a great experience. The carpets and bedrooms could use a little updating (and possibly deep cleaning) but this did little to detract from an overall great experience.
