Apartment is in a great location! Just outside St Angelo Fort. Quiet but easy access to many restaurants. Easy access to Valletta by boat ferry. Plenty of space for family vacation and all the necessary amenities!

We spent 2 weeks in Christiane's apartment in Birgu. You notice at once that this not simply a holiday rental but a place which is loved and lived in. The kitchen is very well equipped and it is fun to cook what you have found at the markets or the little shops in Birgu. The beds are very comfy -- we couldn't believe how well (and long!) we slept.The flat is large enough to allow everyone "private space". Sitting on the balcony for breakfast is simply perfect. I imagine the balcony in summer is paradise in the evenings. Not necessarily in February especially when you experience a cyclone! The neighbours are friendly. The local shops, bars and restaurants are excellent (as long as you are not expecting huge supermarkets!) The little ferry to Valletta runs every 30 minutes. The fast ferry to Gozo (takes only 45 minutes) and leaves from the terminal where you arrive from Birgu. The bus service is excellent. The location has everything you would wish for and you certainly do not need a car The taxi pick-up by Franklin Garage at the airport which Christiane organised was ideal. All in all we would definitely recommend Christiane's flat.

Outstanding property & location made for an enjoyable stay. Check in is a little tricky but communication with owner was excellent. Improvement needed with cleanliness.... bed sheets in master bedroom had numerous stains, opened food packages left in fridge and dishwasher found with full load of dishes inside.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming and colourful apartment with outstanding views of the harbour. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped. The owner was very detailed with information about the apartment and was particularly helpful during a crisis that one of our group experienced. We enjoyed breakfast on the sunny balcony and a glass of wine after a busy day sightseeing. There are many good restaurants in the area and the boats to Valetta are only a 10 minute walk away. This is a very quiet location.

The apartment has a fabulous location with stunning views and is very spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are lots of books and games for visitors to enjoy. My only “criticism” is that the soft furnishings are looking a little tired, but I believe that this is reflected in the price. If you are looking for pristine luxury without the associated price tag then good luck in your search. If you want a spacious and well located place to stay with a parking space for a family or group of friends then I would highly recommend this apartment.

We spent four weeks at this wonderful property and had a fantastic time. Christiane was a pleasure to deal with. The property was spacious and comfortable. Unless you need to be near nightlife, I think Birgu is the best place to stay on the island. It is clean and quaint and quiet and remarkably pretty, yet has super-easy access to Valletta via bus or water taxi. Plus, it's hard to beat the Birgu waterfront on a sunny day. Within Birgu, I would challenge anyone to find a better location than this property. You are only a few feet from the harbour, with fantastic views, morning sunshine, and aftenoon shade, and yet just a 5 minute walk from Birgu Centre. We highly recommend this fine vacation home.

This apartment has the most amazing location for being near to Valetta, views of the Grand Harbour with bars, restaurants and shops near by. The apartment is spacious, very comfortable evening sitting area with morning sun on the balcony for breakfast time Ample towels to use bathroom and beach. ( saves luggage space) Shower in bathroom need a some attention. Kitchen fully equipped and seating for six at dinning table. washing machine and drier. Safe parking in a secure garage. I would wholly recommend this apartment for a holiday if wishing to stay near Valetta or Grand Harbour.

This ground floor apartment is comfortable, quiet, spacious, well stocked and has a small balcony overlooking the Grand Harbour, the tip of Valletta and Kalkara. Birgu is beautiful, probably the nicest place on Malta. Valletta is easily reached by either boat or bus (2 hour time limit for onward travel to other parts of the island). There are several waterfront restaurants overlooking the marina, a few in Birgu square and more within walking distance. The weather was warm in early November. The apartment has a fantastic collection of books and we recommend watching the Malta Story DVD. There is a small balcony and plenty of seats, cushions etc. A lovely place to stay.

Fab apartment. Plenty of room. My only gripe was at checkin. We arrived late at night. Lighting was really poor. To have photos showing where to go when you reach the under ground carpark steps would have been really helpful. Malta is a stunning place to visit and Christiane was very helpful organising taxis and answering questions very promptly. Would highly recommend. We had a wheelchair user in our party and found Malta and the apartment quite accessible👍

The apartment is located in a quiet area of Birgu and being on one floor was good for some of our party. It has easy access to waterfront restaurants and some fantastic ones in Birgu too. We had super meals at Be Birgu, Osteria & Tal-Petut. The view across the grand harbour was amazing and we watched boats and cruise ships coming and going whilst sitting on the balcony. It was very easy to catch a ferry or water taxi across the harbour to explore Valletta and travel back by bus too! Despite the rain with thunder & lightning we had a couple of sunny days and enjoyed trips to Mdina, Marsaxlokk and all around the island. For those looking for a bit more adventure, there is plenty! We can thoroughly recommend Diveshack in Sliema and jumping in the water at St Peter's Pool for those wanting an adrenaline rush. All in all a good apartment in a great location on a wonderful island which made for a super mulit-generational trip. Thank you.

The apartment was everything we wanted and more! Correspondence with Christiane was excellent. The view was stunning. Great air con in the bedrooms as it was extremely hot outside. Would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return one day.

The location of the unit is our favorite - right on the Mediterranean and steps from the Grand Harbour and the village/town of Birgu. Lots of room - living room very cosy with lots of books and dvds to enjoy. We never once turned on the tv. It was a cold spring so we would have meals indoors but drinks on the patio every evening - that is when we were at home. Well equipped kitchen, bedding and towels. We were very happy there and the owner was terrific to deal with.

I stayed in this wonderful apartment with my sister and a friend for a week. It has a huge living space and is well equipped. The views from the balcony are stunning and I have so many photos from this viewpoint. The beds were comfortable and there was enough hot water for 3 people showering daily. The balcony has sun until around 11.30am so we made the most of that and let the light flood into the apartment - it can be quite dark and cold (heaters provided). The apartment is close to the water taxis to Vallarta (2€ at this time of year) and several places to eat. The square behind St Lawrence's church has a couple of tiny shops but supermarkets are a distance away. The buses also stop here. Christiane is really helpful and communication is excellent. She was available to resolve a minor issue. I wouldn't hesitate in booking this apartment again and I loom forward to returning to Malta in the future. Wonderful location in 3 Cities neighborhood of Malta. Big, roomy apartment. Splendid views. Very convenient location. Walk to the local village square for a coffee or a beer. Good restaurants close by. Convenient to Valletta ferry and all that great location provides.

We had an amazing time in Malta and this apartment is a perfect base to explore the islands. The owner (Christiane) is very professional, accommodating, helpful and very responsive. The apartment is sleek, quiet (well, you only hear the water splashing against the waterfront wall), very clean and super comfy. The view is even more amazing, especially at night!! It's right next to Fort San Angelo and a few steps from the water.The neighborhood is quiet, very safe and quaint. There are a few restaurants and bars around, but, we only managed to have dinner at the Sicilian restaurant (forgot the name) by the waterfront - not so good. Water taxis (2 euros one way and very short fun ride) to Valletta is less than 5 minute walk from the apartment and drops you off close to the lift that takes you to the Upper Barrakka Gardens (lots of high hills here). The only downside is there is no one-stop grocery shopping - it is a bit out of the way. But, that wasn't a big deal, there are smaller mom and pop stores selling basic goods, produce, dairy and meat. Buses (2 euros one way) and taxis (15 - 20 euros, depending at time of the day sometimes) are also options to get to Valletta, but, the water taxis are the quickest and have great views. We also bused to Mdina, Rabat and Marsaxlokk (again 2 euros one way). I've raved about this apartment to friends and family. Now, they want to go to Malta. The apartment is lovely and comfortable, nice and clean.the owners are very helpful and reply quickly to any thing we asked.They booked the taxis from the airport which if you have a late flight is very useful.The view from the balcony is lovely.There are lots of things to do around this area. Along the harbour and across the bridge walk along the waterfront to near the end the restaurant Tas-Serena has great food.

This apartment is perfect for exploring Malta. Beautiful waterfront location, with wonderful views. Comfortable facilities, as described in the listing. Very helpful owner - we certainly appreciated having the airport pickup arranged. One of our party has difficulty walking, but the lift opposite the front door straight down to the carpark made it very easy. Thank you.

e amil communication was great, organsies a rental car thorugh owner, parking was initially complicated but then we got the hang of it, apartment as described, essentials and more provided ( rare for Malta), wifi great, air conditioning great but it doesnt get too hot anyway even in september given north east facing! swimming 15 feet away a boon. im moveing in next week;)

This apartment lives up to the excellent reviews it gets here. It really is a home away from home with everything you could need. We especially liked that you can swim pretty much outside the front door. Tip if you stay here: For just €2.80 return you can get the public ferry from Cospicua dockyard creek over to Valetta. It's a nice scenic short cruise in the Grand Harbour, the price even includes the elevator up to the city gates when you reach the Valletta side.
