The house was exceptional located overlooking the water and the grazing swans. Its location within Kingscote allows for easy travelling to all points of the island.

Great location, with amazing views! Friends were visiting from the UK so we needed somewhere large enough to accomodate 8 people and this did not dissapoint, plenty of room for us all. Lovely outside seating areas plus bbq area. Large bedrooms with plenty of storage and great bathrooms. Nice size lounge and great dining/kitchen area. Would stay again and highly recommend

We were happy in the holiday house. 5 adults, 2 kids, used every room & bathroom. Felt comfortable, plenty of room. So close to the beach. 100% recommend.

So, the house was amazing - very spacious, great location. We (4 old friends - of 45 yrs +) were there to celebrate my 70th birthday! The disappointing bit was the very strong smell of septic on arrival, and, subsequently the toilets filling up and not flushing properly, and, the septic itself overflowing. We were only 4... The house has the potential of 12!! We contacted the host who said he would send the cleaner to check. I have no reason to think this happened. Also, the grass out the front should have been mowed.

Wahroonga is amazing. Lovely spacious home. Well equipped and totally adequate for our needs. The location is fabulous. Quiet and scenic. The overall experience was great and the process was seamless. Everything just fell into place. Thank you Dwayne.

Fantastic views and position. six adults stayed and plenty of room for all of us. As it was the middle of winter the heating worked well and the whole house was very clean and presentable. A fantastic base for exploring Kangaroo Island. Very quiet and had everything we wanted and needed. One small problem the toaster was missing its its push down handle.

This is a great sized place for my family to stay, had plenty of room and didn't feel on top of each other. A couple of things were out of order but we managed fine without them. Great location.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay, the views are amazing and the property is well furnished and clean. The only downside is that it was advertised as 5 bedrooms (we required 5) but only 4 had beds in it therefore 2 adults had to share a bed. I would certainly come back to this property, all appliances were in good state and working well, the house was clean and tidy.

Unfortunately we found the kitchen was not clean, the stove was so dirty I was hesitant to use it, the dishwasher didn’t work, the spa was broken. At least the spa had a notice warning us, but the dishwasher we tried to use as there was not a note stating it didn’t work so we left it with half dirty water in it.. The tv downstairs was not connected to the antenna or internet so we couldn’t use that either.. altogether my children paid for us to stay there (we felt a lot of money) and they would be very disappointed.. my husband and I loved kangaroo island and had a great time..

Fab house, very close to kingscote attractions We were disappointed on some things that were advertised on the listing found not functioning upon arrival (dishwasher, spa, upstairs air con etc) Bbq was also filthy when we arrived. Otherwise a great stay!

Needs some repairs. I notified owner on 1 n left a note re 2 other issues. Hopefully they have been addressed.

What a beautiful property. House has everything you need and the views are wonderful from the front and back. Rosemary is a super responsive host and extremely helpful. We will defintely be back.

We booked this 12 months in advance - we contacted property manager at time of booking to clarify if there were Air Con. Manager told us All Bedrooms have a ceiling fan and Air con was in both the upstairs and down stairs living areas. At the time of staying - the downstairs bedroom did not have a ceiling fan. The upstairs Air Con was broken and did not cool at all. And as we travelled at end of JAN it was hot in the bedrooms and when you are expecting cooling and don’t get it - it is not what we paid for! We were told days before staying that we were not allowed to use the spa in the Master Ensuite and water leaks in to ceiling. One of the burners on the stove did not work. Rangehood was Filthy and had not been cleaned for a long term - plus no light working on it. Gas BBQ main hotplates did not work. There was a lot of Cigarette butts outside near table that had not been picked up. We found the beach out the front of the house was like quicksand for our kids - with dark smelling mud. We swam down at the Yacht club beach - which was alot more pleasant although required us to have to pack the car for the short drive down. The house was very large and great for large families or groups - I would recommend this house - but we were let down unfortunately.

The house had everything that we needed, a bedroom for everyone, great sea views, large dining table to sit around and plenty of lounge areas. Unfortunately, even though the place had been cleaned, there were areas that hadn’t been checked. The front door lock was hit and miss, on arrival the key wasn’t the front door and it took some time before we realised that we had to enter via the back door. The laundry door was also hard to lock and unlock,This meant lugging a lot of our gear down the side of the house and through the gate. ( However, we did get used to it) There was a lollipop left behind my bedside table and lolly wrappers left in the upstairs bedroom bedside and hair left on the bedroom floor. A lot of the kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery were dirty. The bbq didn’t work and was very unclean. Overall we had a great stay but I feel more time needs to be spent cleaning the house more thoroughly and checking and attending to worn and broken things.

Close proximity to beach is amazing and location incredibly convenient to everything we wanted to do.

The house was in a great position and have enough room for us all to spread out and have privacy, but come together too. There were a few issues that occurred due to the heavy rain we have had, which were attended to immediately. House had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay, KI is a very special place which always leaves me re- charged and relaxed. Our beach walks and the views were gorgeous.

Very nice house in a very nice spot. Great facilities.

Showers and tubs were moldy. No shower soap, shampoo or conditioner. Had to wash many dishes before we could use them. No foil, paper towel, cling wrap. No compendium of info on the unit how to use tv etc. Opened the window in on suite and window track was disgusting. Screens rattle. Track to the beach needs to be more than 50cm wide due to snakes in bushes. Spare keys left that didn’t open main door. Think they were another property. Side doors not locked when we arrived. Old sign on fridge about rat infestation. Need to replace it as is old and tatty. Terrible smell in upstairs bathroom. Think the drain needs snaking out. Good left in freezer from previous tenants. Really need to pick up your game. Due to weather and cancelled boat crossings we had to leave early. Emailed agent. Never had a reply. Disappointed with the accommodation is an understatement.

issues 1/ Wifi info provided was not correct - needed to call property manager and 2/ kitchen serving plates & pots etc needed a clean before we could use them. Inclide kitchen cupboards could do with a clean/wipe over. But all else was terrific. thanks we had a great time.

This property was perfect for our large family of 6 adults and five children. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The kitchen/dining area easily accommodated us all at meal times and we especially benefited from the extra large oven and hot plates. Heavy rain caused a minor electrical issue on one night but Dwayne was easily contactable and arranged for an electrician to resolve the issue promptly. There were plenty of games and books to entertain us all. Overall we had a fabulous stay and highly recommend this property for a large family.

Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! The property is in a beautiful location, is in great condition and well appointed. We are already talking about a return trip :)

Excellent spacious holiday rental with wonderful views from all rooms. The beach is just a few steps away. We had very pleasant morning and evening walks. A perfect 5 if the BBQ equipment is better maintained.

Simple booking and access. Plenty of space for a big family or multiple families. Multiple living areas, and outdoor areas. Fully working kitchen and appliances and large dining table indoor and out. Direct access to the beach and uninterrupted views of the water. Double garage with auto door was excellent with the kids. We had an excellent time and would book again.
