Beautifully decorated, house had everything we needed, an amazing porch and deck space, and the bedrooms and beds were all very comfortable and made us feel at home. We loved cruising and tubing Lake Chatuge with our boat rental, going for our morning run through the hills and lakeside scenery, and taking the kids to Marina Station and Helen. Hope we can make another trip next summer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Donna's home on beautiful Lake Chatuge. The house is very well maintained, the beds are super comfy, and comes with all the necessities to make for a great week (or two in our case) at the lake. We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this one was one of the best in regards to all the extra nice to have perks - everything you need in the kitchen for cooking, plethora of lake/boat toys and towels, great natural gas grill, and hot tub). With the fantastic screened porch, additional deck space and two-level dock, we spent the majority of our time at the home outside, including all our meals. Many s’mores were roasted over the great firepit as well. We were able to take advantage of the convenient location and enjoyed boating and water sports, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, swimming in the lake behind the house, and visiting local wineries. As a pet friendly house, our dog lived his best life enjoying the spacious and secure porch/deck area and daily swims and paddle board excursions. The house is in a very well-established neighborhood with plenty of separation between us and the neighbors made for a very relaxing and serene lake get away. We had a wonderful time during our stay here. The house was very clean and perfect for what we needed. I brought a large fishing kayak and the lot had very easy water access for getting the kayak in and out of the water. We loved the screened in porch and large grassy yard. We cooked all of our meals and the kitchen was well furnished with everything we needed. Donna was very responsive and great with communications. We cant wait to go back!

Fabulous house with great amenities! The owners have thought of everything to make our stay fun, easy, and perfect family time. The kayaks and paddleboard, cornhole boards, fire pit, and the screened porch and outside deck made for wonderful family time. Very clean home and comfortable beds. We would highly recommend and love to come back one day!

This was the best equipped lake home I’ve ever rented, as if it was your personal home. Quality furnishings, plenty of linens, fully stocked kitchen, garage full of lake toys, smart TVs, huge hot tub, indoor cozy fireplace, kayaks and canoe but what makes it extra special is the outdoor living space! Screened porch that spans the length of the house, with a hanging bed! Rockers and loungers on the sun deck and seating on the double decker boat deck. Huge outdoor firepit with plenty of Adirondack chairs and supply of firewood. Plus the back of the house faces west so you have plenty of afternoon sun and amazing sunsets! Less than 10 minute drive to Ingles and Boundary Waters Marina, so great location. Book a vacation here! You won’t regret it.

The owners were communicative and organized. The house has every Lake toy and kitchen accessory you can imagine. Beautiful firepit and hot tub view. We had a great family stay during Christmas. The house is fully stocked with everything under the Sun - even spices for cooking, firewood for the pit, warm blankets for the giant love swing in the deck, canoes, games, etc. We had such a great time and the owners were truly accommodating and super easy and efficient to communicate with. Definitely on our radar for a return trip.

Beautiful house and location

The home and property were beautiful and in a location that made us feel like we were away from it all while still being a short and easy drive from restaurants and activities in Hiawassee and the surrounding towns. We spent our days exploring and driving the off road paths, going to wineries and breweries, and enjoying good food, live music, and friendly people. When the day was done, the lake house was the perfect place to come home to and enjoy the relaxing amenities. Loved our trip and we hope to come back soon! Paul and Melanie

Our 2nd trip to this home and it won't be our last. Easy, clean, well equipped and private home welcomes you from the moment you arrive. A simple boat rental process at Boundary gave us a wonderful daily dream vacation..make coffee, jump in boat, enjoy the 360° mountain views and relax!

Perfect place for a family getaway! Water/dock access for the boat we rented was perfect! The kids fished off the dock, rode the paddleboards, we all kayaked, we walked in the mornings. Just a great place! The drive in to town for meals was easy and quick. Hiking to Bell Mtn was just minutes from the property. The Sunsets… over the water, we’re breathtaking! Thanks for another great stay here!

My family of 8 - consisting of 4 generations, to include my parents, my husband and I, my daughter and son-in-law and my 2 yr old granddaughter and 9 month old grandson thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this upscale lake home. The owners have thought of everything for fun times on the water. The sandy beach area was perfect for the little ones and the tube and wake board were a hit with my daughter. The kitchen was stocked with everything (the separate ice maker was awesome), the bedrooms were good size and the back porch and yard were perfect!!! We totally enjoyed ourselves and hope to be able to return to this home again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Wonderful family week on the lake. We spent almost all our time relaxing on the large screened porch or at the lake swimming, kayaking, and fishing. The owners have thought of everything you need for a great time at the lake!

My family of 5 were very comfortable and had fun all week at this beautiful cottage. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds and lots of entertaining spaces inside and out. The patio had the coolest couch swing , big yard great for dog & kids to play. Owner let us use their water toys, so my young girls played on splash pad for hours while we used the canoe. We would def stay here again. The owners were very responsive to all my messages. I don’t have anything negative to say.

Our experience with many properties we have rented in the past is that some appear and feel like a large hotel room with minimal amenities and little effort made to make you feel at home. This property is completely the opposite. From the moment you drive down the curved driveway to this beautiful home you know you have made a very good decision! The home is fully equipped, tastefully decorated with quality furnishings and clean. It is situated slightly above the water level so that the walk to the lake requires no long steep steps. When we were there in June, the lake water was very high and accessing the dock was effortless. Speaking of the dock, it appears to be new and our pontoon boat fit into the covered portion of the dock perfectly. Because it’s situated in a small bay, it receives few punishing waves from boat traffic. The grass of this rather large yard was cut before we arrived, so our visit was not interrupted by a landscaping crew. The back deck is perfect for morning coffee and evening conversation. The fire pit has very nice chairs and there was plenty of wood available. This is a first-rate property, and we hope to be able to get back to Chatuge Lake again soon. Thanks for the great stay!

This property was exactly as described and pictured. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The furniture was all extremely comfortable as well as attractive. The kitchen contained not just necessities but many extras. There was nothing that we looked for that we didn't find. The screened porch was wonderful no matter what the weather and the porch furniture was also very comfortable. We spent most of our time there just enjoying the view of the lake. The neighborhood is attractive and peaceful. I would highly recommend this house and will be returning regularly

This house is just a peace of heaven on earth. It has everything you need and is the perfect lake house experience with so many special details that made our vacation unforgettable. We had a wonderful stay! Even in mid-December, we were able to take the kayaks and canoe out on the lake a couple of times and felt like we had the entire lake to ourselves. The views of the lake from the house were beautiful and the screened porch was fantastic for relaxing even in the 40 degree weather... there are plenty of blankets to layer up and enjoy the fresh air! The cool air made the hot tub that much more enjoyable! We also enjoyed hiking, horseback riding and a visit to Helen, all within a short drive of the house. My only complaint was that our stay was too short!
