Our group is familiar with Pinecrest. Some of us either having owned a family cabin by the lake, just visited on occassion, or stayed at the Lair of the Bear. This cabin was set up perfectly for our (3) families. We had a range of ages from 3 years old to 8 years old and Adults 35+. There were plenty of games to play, dice, cards, puzzles for the kids, pool table for the adults, tv, etc. The accommodations were extremely comfortable. Every detail is very thought out and organized in the kitchen. I greatly appreciate that and as a host myself in Truckee, CA, we can always take notes from other owners about how to improve our own rentals. Our kids also brought their bikes. It was a safe area for them to ride around and even through Stanislaus National Forest as it opens up right next to the house. This is a great rental. We will be back!

We were vacationing for a family reunion, and this property was just right for all ages. You can tell the place is well cared for. A big, well-stocked kitchen; nice BBQ grill, AC!, fans in each room, nice cozy couch, and the pool table kept the little ones off their screens and in friendly competition. We could zip to the lake, horseback riding, or putt putt golf in Twain Harte. SO fun! I would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at your beautiful mountain home. It was perfect for our family. Kitchen was very well stocked, appliances were in great condition. Kids loved the pool table and we had some great tournaments! We hope to come back again.

Three generations of our family once again had a grand time at Pinecrest Lake. This year, however, was very special because of our stay at Ridgeview Lodge. It was amazing: very roomy and comfortable, best eqipped and best organized kitchen ever, owner very responsive, beautiful setting. We highly recommend staying at Ridgeview Lodge.

We have been renting up in Pinecrest for over 10 years and this is by far the best cabin we have ever been in. It was absolutely immaculate. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything. Beautiful deck, and furniture to sit outside in. Great place for a family reunion. We would definitely recommend and use this cabin again. Wonderful experience with the owner./property manager.

The property was immaculate. The kitchen super organized - we appreciated the labels as to where everything in the kitchen belonged - so helpful! The beds were comfortable and the space perfect for a large group with multiple eating and social areas. Carolyn, the host, was communicative up front in making sure we had the information we needed, as well as during our stay when we had questions. For an annual trip our group makes to Pinecrest - 10 years strong - this is the first property that we want to repeat!!

The cabin was very clean and well appointed. Location was great at the end of the plowed road and less than 30 minutes to Dodge Ridge and Leland Snow Park. Our friends and family loved the amenities, the view, and the pool table. We would not hesitate to stay at this wonderful home away from home in the future.
