This was one of our many visits to Catalina Island and a true testament to its magic, and our host made it all the more extraordinary. Once again, their hospitality exceeded our expectations and ensured a memorable stay from start to finish. Nestled in an ideal location, our accommodations provided the perfect vantage point to soak in Catalina's beauty. Having a golf cart at our disposal added an element of fun and convenience, allowing us to explore the island's hidden gems with ease. From charming streets to stunning vistas, every corner of Catalina was within reach. What truly sets this experience apart is the communication we enjoyed with our host. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort and enjoyment was evident in every interaction, making us feel like valued guests throughout our stay. As we reluctantly bid farewell to Catalina, we're already counting down the days until our next visit.

Dislikes- No AC, didn't like large cleaning fee and had to clean our room ourselves according to the checkout rules.. and even tho my wife was feeling sick the cleaning lady wouldn't budge for a later check-out at 11am but still charged a large cleaning fee and we had to clean our own room under threat of charging a higher fee if she wasn't satisfied with how we cleaned ..we felt like we could't touch or move anything out of fear of being blamed for something and charged a high fee.. didn't like the LATE 4PM check-in/ or the early 10AM check-out.. didn't like that my in-laws couldn't come out to see our room because they weren't paying customers, not even to look or hang out for coffee ...make sure you read the rules before booking if you can't get a refund for cancellation.. LIKES- THE VIEW.. The wave wall texture was impressive.. property manager was great ...returned calls or texts in a timely manner or the next day..

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. The golf cart alone is such a great bonus to this condo. The host was absolutely wonderful accommodating us. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you for your hospitality

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful VRBO for an extended weekend to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. The VRBO was clean and was exactly what we were looking for! The views are beautiful and the use of the golf cart made it so easy to go into town. The host is incredibly response and was great to us. We had a bottle of wine provided in the refrigerator to celebrate our special occasion. The stairs were a lot but I was fine going down them. Coming up was much more of a chore so my husband would drop me at the top and then park the golf cart. But it wasn't something that would keep us from staying again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This Hamilton Cove condo was a fantastic getaway for my husband and I! Views were beautiful and the condo was very well appointed! Use of the golf cart was a wonderful bonus! Most of all, we really appreciate the owner’s flexibility since the ferries back to the mainland were cancelled on the day we were scheduled to leave due to weather. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at this location and really enjoyed the island and everything that is had to offer. The owner was available whenever questions came up and made our stay easy and relaxing. We would definitely come back to this location if we were to travel back to Catalina in the future.

Great location, great views, and actually 9 less stairs than advertised (from cart parking space to villa). Villa is updated and well-appointed. Golf cart was great and fun to drive. Owner was very responsive and helpful day of check-in. Only (minor) dings are the faucets--all three are ridiculous and should be replaced. Bathroom sink faucets spray wildly and should be replaced with aerators. Kitchen sink faucet may just have built up hard water deposits. Top rack of dishwasher is missing. Other minor ding is that the plug for the golf cart does not always seat properly--wasn't plug and go for us ever, always had to play with it a bit to make sure it was properly seated for charging. But these are little things--very happy with our stay. Thank you!

Everything about the condo is great. This was my second time staying in the Hamilton Cove properties and its very nice. Lots of stairs going up but consider it your vacation workout. This unit has a ring doorbell which is fine and it was clear that the owner saw when we entered to unit because I got a text message from him almost immediately after we entered - fine. Here is what was not okay. I don't want to be surveilled on my vacation. I am 43 my husband and I were staying in this unit with our two young children. As I had told this owner it was a family vacation and other members of our family were in a different unit on the same property. My 78 year old father came up to look at the unit, I guess that was okay. However when my husband and I had my 18 year old niece (who happens to be black) came up to our room to watch her cousins for a few hours while we had some alone time I was immediately texted and accused of having extra people staying in our unit. Pretty creepy and also kind of racist. So if you are okay with someone watching your every movement then this would be a good choice for you.

The place was great. It was clean, quite, and the SMV was awesome to have. Will stay here again when we come back to visit.

Easy check in, clean place with all the comforts of home. The golf cart was definitely a huge bonus. Made getting around the island super easy. Would stay again!

Hamilton Cove is delightful and this condo has everything to offer. Well-furnished, very clean, and with sufficient amenities to make our stay very comfortable. Waking up to that gorgeous sunrise and enjoying morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine on the balcony was so soothing. With the included golf cart, we had the freedom to come and go as we pleased, see the sights, try many of the wonderful restaurants in town and enjoy the fun activities. Highly recommend for a long weekend getaway!

We stayed here for our 25 year anniversary and it did not disappoint. The private location away from the busy town is just what we were looking for. Amazing view, great amenities and an attentive host. The kitchen had everything we needed including a Keurig coffee maker plus a regular coffee maker. The BBQ came in handy too for a romantic dinner on the patio. We slept like babies in the comfy bed with the patio door open to hear the waves and breathe in the ocean air. We looking forward to staying again.

This property is beautiful and has a wonderful view of the water. It is well appointed, and Rimas was very responsive to all my questions and requests. Mind that there are a lot of steps to get to the door. My wife and I are in our forties and in good shape, and we were winded every time we would come and go. This is not for someone with bad knees or heart. The included golf cart is a must, as the development is about 2 miles from Avalon.

This property allows to stay one night, other Hamilton cove properties require minimum 2 nights stay. The ocean view is spectacular and property itself is very clean and comfortable. I hope I can have it for next trip.

The property owner was great to work with and was very accommodating. The views were amazing, location fabulous, secluded, private, yet easy access to all the amenities in the village. For all the years I’ve been going to Catalina, this location proved to be a new winner for me.

The condo is just lovely! Rimas was just outstanding to communicate with on our stay. There are a fews flights of stairs to get to the condo, however to view is worth the climb. We enjoyed our stay and loved the electric golf cart to get around town in. Next time we want to enjoy Catalina we will hopefully return to this lovely condo.

We had a great time in Hamilton Cove. The condo has a wonderful view and has been updated nicely. A few items are in need of replacement but they are still functional. We had an issue with a few missing items that were promptly brought over after requested. We would stay here again.

Absolutely loved this property for a nice weekend trip. My only tiny complaint would be that there should be more privacy on the balcony. Your neighbors can see you and you can see them. Other than that, that stay was amazing. Gorgeous views all the way around

Hamilton Cove is a great place to stay in Avalon. You'll need a golf cart to get around, but it's provided. Host was very responsive. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this villa again.

Gorgeous property on the beach. Lovely unit with lots of amenities, including beach towels & sports equipment. Golf Cart was priceless. A must have in Catalina and in ex Ellenton condition!! The owner is very available and a great communicator and very willing to provide assistance. Bed was comfy and condo roomy for 2 people. We loved it. Well equipped kitchen. We'll come back to this villa #58.
