This was our first trip to South Carolina and we could not have chosen a better home. We were impressed by the beauty of the neighborhood and the beauty and convenience of the home. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. The location is convenient to everything in the surrounding areas. Our family had a wonderful week at this property. The house is exactly as it appears online. The porches are so nice and give lots of options to have different groups of people to use. We had a toddler with us and he loved the porch areas, especially the little lizards on the outdoor porch! The kitchen is great for cooking and had anything you may need. Would definitely stay again. A very relaxing week in a beautiful area!

This property was a great fit for our stay during my sons Bootcamp Graduation. We had a family of six in the house and we all fit comfortably. It was beautiful decorated, clean and had a beautiful view of the water. It was nice to sit in the sun room in the morning, drink coffee and watch the sun rise. The location was very convenient, close by the base only about 13-15 minutes away. Also close to downtown Beaufort. We had a wonderful stay!

The house has been beautifully renovated - lovely kitchen and bathrooms. Being on the wetlands was wonderful - we spotted many dolphins, egrets, even an alligator swimming along the shore!

We stayed for two weeks in this charming paradise. The house was immaculate, inviting, and provided every need. The neighborhood has a small circle where we walked our dog — I could not stop looking up at the beauty of the trees as well as enjoying the gorgeous yards of the neighborhood. Everything you need is in close proximity, just a few min drive. My husband would take his morning run on an easy path to Beaufort and back. I only wish we had discovered the marina restaurant earlier in our stay. The absolute BEST part was our view of the water from the deck, sun porch, den, and main bedroom. From sunrise to sunset we watched birds, dolphins, tides changing, sailboats, and just enjoyed the peaceful breeze.

We spent the month of February in this waterfront cottage, mostly on the heated, enclosed back porch surrounded by beautiful views of the marina, marsh, and boats floating by. The cottage is set up for comfort with cozy, overstuffed indoor furniture, a padded sectional on the porch, and sleep-worthy beds in every room. The kitchen is well-appointed with sufficient pots and pans for cooking any number of dishes (we did bouillabaisse, roast chicken, shrimp, monkfish, sea trout, oysters, scallops and more; try Seafood Express for fresh seafood, on Ribaut just around the corner from the house). The wine refrigerator on the porch is great for storing bottles to keep room in the kitchen refrigerator for food. AND this is the first VRBO I've been to with such fabulous wine glasses--white, red, and champagne! We had unusually good weather for February and so spent most of our time outside exploring, but on the couple of days of non-stop rain we were able to entertain ourselves with the Roku TV on the porch and the living room TV set up for signing into all your own streaming accounts. Very handy. Our one minor suggestion would be to have a coffee table or ottoman in the living room. It would add to an already comfortable room. We would definitely consider renting this home again. And you should, too!

Our stay at Port Royal Landing is one of the best places we have every vacationed. Although we were there for our son's Parris Island Graduation, it felt like a true vacation. The property was impeccable, the views were awesome, and the overall process was just flawless. Thank you for a Great Experience !!!!

This beautiful home gave our group everything we were looking for and more. All the bedrooms were equally luxurious with their own view of the waterway. We loved sitting out on the sunporch, and the deck captured the warmest rays of the November sun. We loved sitting out there watching the birds, and even spotted an alligator. This will be our top choice for our next visit.

My husband and I rented a beautiful home in Port Royal SC overlooking a marina. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone that is looking for water view with quiet relaxation

The view from the back deck and sunroom are spectacular! Owners respond quickly to questions. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat ! In one word this house is amazing! Everything was immaculate and believe me I’m picky about that when staying somewhere on vacation! The kitchen was the most well stocked of any home we have visited on vacation. The downstairs bed was so comfortable and the shower was so nice. The view off the back deck was beautiful, from the gorgeous sunrises to watching storms roll in. If you are in the Beaufort area this is the house to stay in.

This house was great and we would recommend it to anybody! The back porch and deck were awesome to watch the sunrise and wildlife every morning. This place was more than we expected and we would love to rent again soon!

Everything about this property was great. The home was beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. If we had any suggestions for improvement (which would be limited) it might be for more comfortable seating on the beautiful glass porch overlooking the water & marina. Would recommend to all.

This is the second time our family has stayed at this rental and we love it. The house is always clean and decorated so cute. It is a great location and I love having coffee in the morning and our glass of wine in the evening on the back porch.

We really enjoying this house and especially how convenient it was to the beaches, Port Royal, downtown Beaufort, restaurants and fun activities. It was perfect for us. We had our fishing boat pick us up right at the local marina, just a short walk from the property. Love this house and we will definitely rent it again.

I booked this property only because I could not find a property on Harbor Island ( I am a beach person) for a much needed getaway for my husband and I. Since the house was much larger than we needed I decided to surprise my husband with a visit from old Fire Dept friends the end of the week (a belated anniversary surprise). The house was beautiful and we found it convenient to Hunting Island, restaurants in Port Royal (Madisons, Fish Camp, Smokehouse Barbeque, Marker 244 -at the Marina) and downtown Beaufort. It was a 15 minute drive to the beach but only a few minutes to the Sands. (Wear shoes. The shark teeth are abundant and my husband surf fished. )We took a enjoyable kayak tour in Beaufort and truly enjoyed the porch for coffee in the mornings. The vacation was so relaxing and we truly enjoyed the friendliness of the neighborhood residents. Also I booked a fishing charter from the convenient Marina with Captain Adam (585-545-8137). The guys truly enjoyed the trip and caught lots of fish. You will not be sorry to stay at this lovely home.

A winning combination with this home...spectacular views and a beautiful home with all the amenities you could want. The owners have set up the home to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible. I have rented many homes from Home Away but this one is the true winner! Close to activities and sights but set in a quiet neighborhood. We visit Beaufort frequently and I look forward to booking this home again!

If you love great water views, quiet surroundings, but also like being minutes from everything, you'll love this wonderful home. And that's what it is, a home. It's decorated comfortably, but you're not dodging furniture. It has an equipped fabulous kitchen with gas, comfortable bedding (and I'm picky), the most workable master bath I've ever seen, and so much more. Josh and Stephanie are so nice, available, and responsive if you have problems. But I doubt you will, unless you lock yourself out, like I did. Then you'll get to meet some of the wonderful neighbors. You're six minutes from downtown Beaufort and a hop to Port Royal. A fresh fish outdoor market is two blocks away. The dinners we had overlooking the water on the closed in back porch were just as enchanting as some of the area's best restaurant's. It can be romantic or it can be a great place to spend a family week or weekend. We had the pleasure of staying 7 weeks. However long your stay, it will be memorable in this wonderful home. Many thanks to Josh and Stephanie for putting it all together in such a comfortable, affordable package! I'm ready for an encore!
