We would come back to Deep Creek especially in the summer. We might look to a different house as the little things were overlooked. The kitchen needs restocking with dishes and silverware. The furniture should be replaced. I didn't hear any complaints about the beds. The hiking trails and state parks are great

The "fire pit" is not really useable do to location on the slope of the property. The home is older and showing signs of wear - sliding doors, windows etc. will definitely look for a different home with a better location next time we visit.

Any time there was an issue, the management office responded quickly. The only negative is that the downstairs bathroom smells like urine. There must be a leak that needs repaired. We did report it. However, a problem we run into in our vacation homes is more fridge space is really required of a house that is suited for more than 12 people. We also noticed the hot water did not last very long. The bedrooms gave adequate privacy, and the accommodations were perfect. We had a fire in the fire place, got lots of use out of the hot tub, sat around the large table for meals, and gathered around the living room for lots of games. The description said only 5 cars, but parked efficiently, we fit 7 cars. Also, during the ice storm, the driveway was salted and the road was relatively clear. The kitchen is also pretty well stocked for meal prep.

The hot tube was awes the kids were in it everyday we were there. The staff was great. On two separate occasions we realized we forgot some. They were extremely accommodating with helping us get our items that were left behind. We will certainly come back again. Everyone in our group definitely would like to come back soon. We kept the basement door clothes at all times because It smelled so bad. There were 2 couples that stayed in the basement and it was rough for both couples due to the musty/moldy smells. I would not rent this property again. It gave me a headache the entire time and I had allergy issues due to the condition of the basement

They had a great time. We rented a boat for 2 days so appreciated the dock slip.The hot tub is definitely a plus. We had fires at night at the fire pit. The only issue that I can see is that the firepit is on a slope so sitting at the fire was at times a challenge. It is very easy for the chairs to tip over on the slope. Overall a great vacation!!

However there were a few issues that we had during our stay. *No TV in two bedrooms *Mildew smell in the basement.We Had to dump two humidifier twice a day.(what a chore) *Internet went out a day before we were scheduled to leave. *Pots and pans were plentiful but in terrible shape. Dishes were chipped as well. *Grill was awful. We had to buy a new grate which we left for the next tenants. Carpet in the Master had a lot of stains. The description was accurate however the path to the water front was raw and not easy for children to navigate. Please make a path. We had good customer service however no one mentioned the issue with the smelly basement.
