We spent two weeks here in July. It is ideally located for trips into Halifax, Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Chester. Also close to the excellent Rumrunners trail for biking and running. This is easily the best Vrbo house we have stayed at- beautifully decorated and stocked with every item you could think of from olive oil to bandaids, and the owner is very helpful and responsive.

The weather was not wonderful but the house was perfect. It had everything we needed and the Wii and Netflix were both a lifesaver with 3 teenagers. I highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit this part of Nova Scotia.

I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the property; the lovely & functional decor; all of the basics for food preparation, including tons of spices; flour; baking powder etc. which made it easy to bake & cook; There was only one important drawback - it was at least a 30 minute drive to purchase groceries. Also, as we are all seniors, the steep stairways to the second floor (where all the bedrooms are) was a bit difficult to manage at times, especially for one of us that had a recent leg injury. Overall, I would recommend this property to future renters.

The house is spotlessly clean, very welcoming and most accommodating. Andrew and Janine provide you with a beautiful home that is well equipped for a wonderful stay. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. From this convenient location we were able to explore Peggy's Cove. Lunenburg, Halifax and much more. Communication and checkin could not have been easier. I would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in this area.

Despite Fiona everything was done to make our stay in a wonderful area as good as possible. Couldn’t be more pleased with everything that was done by hosts.

We loved our stay. The house was even better than in the pictures. It is beautifully decorated, yet welcoming and comfortable. There is a ton of space inside and outside. The furniture on the front porch is comfortable and we spent a lot of time taking in the view. The bedrooms were all a great size and the beds were very comfortable. There was a constant cool breeze coming off the water and fans provided in each room. Even during a heat advisory, the house remained cool and comfortable. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I have encountered in a rental. The owners have thought of everything. We cooked most meals at the house and I had everything I needed. There is a great guest book that introduces you to the house and local area. Make sure to head to The Deck for ice cream! The house is in a perfect location for exploring the area with points of interest within a reasonable driving distance in all directions. Andrew was great at communicating before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this home and would happily stay there again if we are ever back in the area.

The house was exactly as the pictures. Very clean and tidy inside, nicely furnished and a good supply of essentials. The Welcome binder was very helpful. The owner was very friendly in communications and responded quickly. He also provided good suggestions on places to eat & golf. Note that the nearby restaurant "The Deck" is closed for renovations however there are lovely places to eat in nearby Chester (The Foc'sle) and in Hubbards (Tuna Blue Restaurant). Overall, a lovely vacation with many happy memories!

This is the perfect place to stay. So clean and comfortable. Andrew has anticipated every need. We’d think of something we’d like to have and it would be right there. This was the nicest area; a quick drive to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. I’ll be telling all my friends in Ontario to stay here.

This place is beautiful. Very clean, modern, and well equipped. Beds are very comfortable.

This cottage is well kept, and made us feel right at home. We celebrated the new year together as a group of friend and Andrew so kindly left a bottle of champagne for us! Little touches like that really made our trip perfect. Would recommend to anyone!

This property is located in a lovely spot with gorgeous views of the water. It is quiet, comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated. You feel at home and spoiled at the same time. Communication with the host prior to arrival gave a relaxed, kind, worry free arrival.

The house was beautiful from the outside and pretty nice inside. The colour scheme was coordinated throughout and tastefully decorated. The home was well stocked to make our stay feel most comfortable.

This our second time staying at the White Cape Cod. Very clean, everything you need is there. The view is spectacular. The new beautiful fire pit was a huge hit. We will definitely be back. The owner is amazing and very accommodating.

Andrew's property is truly beautiful and has everything you need, whether for a short weekend in our case or a much longer stay. The location is stunning and private, and the house itself was spotless when we arrived. We also so appreciated the well-stocked pantry and kitchen. Andrew was wonderful to communicate with - super responsive and attentive, and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. We would highly recommend a stay here, however long, and hope to be back again soon! Cheers.

Our stay at Andrew’s property in Blandford was one we never forget. From the bonfires, to the beaches and all the wonderful food and laughter we had a delightful time in this clean and beautiful space. Everything about the vacation home was taken care of right down to the most minor detail and supply. This one comes as advertised. Thank you Andrew!

What a lovely place to stay! Everything was exactly as shown and the house was shiny and clean and very well appointed with everything we needed. We stayed for 2 weeks and there was just the 2 of us, but there was room for more people to be comfortable. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and had lots of day trips, returning to our lovely "White Cape" and a beautiful sunset over the water. Andrew was very good about keeping us informed and instructed in the process of entry etc. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a clean, updated and lovely home away from home.

My husband, stepmom and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Nova Scotia, and the White Cape on the Cove was one of the most beautiful vacation homes we've ever stayed in. The house was charming, with a modern, eclectic flare. It was absolutely spotless, and meticulous, and offered everything we needed to be happy and comfortable during our week stay. Stop looking, book this place now!!! Pictures do not do justice for this amazing home. Every detail was thought of when decorating by Andrew and Janine. From "Welcome" Flags on the wall to the details of the door knobs. There was a group of 8 of us celebrating two 50th birthdays and an anniversary. We had more than enough room to relax and enjoy the water and surrounding scenery. Andrew the guide book that you supplied us with for local attractions very helpful in planning each day. It was perfect!! The drive to local attractions such as Peggy"s Cove, Minas Basin to see Bay of Fundy, Grand Pre and Lunenburg were definitely worth it. Take the time to go! Andrew and Janine made sure that the home was stocked with everyday essentials from the moment you walked in the door. Visiting Sweet Annie at the Deck restaurant 2 drive ways from the home for breakfast with her homemade bread was a treat. Having Lobster from Andy 4 drive ways from the home was SPECTACULAR!!! All in all every one us us had an amazing time visiting your beautiful province and will definitely come again.
