This place was absolutely amazing, there was nothing that wasn’t perfect! Carmen has thought of everything to make our stay wonderful.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The host really went the extra mile. Her communication was awesome and providing eggs, bread and other goodies were so thoughtful. The house was in a very convenient location to see all the small towns of North East Ga , and the home was comfortable and inviting.

Tomlinson House is always my first choice when visiting my daughter at Piedmont. The location is perfect and Carmen has given so much wonderful attention to all details. I love to travel with my dogs and they feel just as at home at Tomlinson House as I do! From the farm fresh eggs (from her chickens!), the breakfast casserole in the freezer for easy heating, to baked goods, coffee, dog treats, doggie shampoo, comfy bed...everything feels comforting, cozy and pampering. And CLEAN!!! It's truly the best.

Lovely house, inside and out. Anything you could ever need was furnished. Carmen and Jason both are super sweet people. Highly recommend staying here. Just wish we could have tried all the goodies (food) she provided. Great cook! We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area!

Carmen was a gracious hostess, helpful & very hospitable. She had an big supply of brochures for your interests & over the top with providing yummy breakfast items to enjoy!

This was one of the most exceptional and professional vacation rentals I have encountered. The house was clean, cool, and tastefully decorated. There was a coffee shop and brunch place right in front of the house. I wholeheartedly recommend you stay here for your trip.

This place was wonderful. It was impeccably clean and had even more amenities than you might expect. We especially enjoyed all the little surprise food treats. The house is steps away from several great eating places as well.

We stayed in Demorest to attend a wedding in Clarksville. Carmen was an absolute joy of a host! Such sweet hospitality, wonderful muffins, fresh eggs and a breakfast casserole was such a charming surprise. More than what we expected, one of VRBO’s best hosts. Everything about our stay was perfect!

Carmen and the Tomlin House were unexpected gems for us. This is our first time using a VRBO and Carmen was helpful in making it so easy for us. Super communication from her. The apartment in Tomlin House was perfect for us and our cat, Eve. Though something most people don't need, Eve has asthma (therefore the need to travel with us), and the cleanliness of Tomlin House was "purrfection" for an asthmatic kitty! Carmen's attention to detail went above and beyond, even down to kitty treats in a jar for our girl. The fresh eggs from Carmen's chickens, the fresh-baked blueberry coffeecake, the breakfast casserole, as well as all the other extras were amazing and made out stay so much better. The convenience to Temperance Coffee House and Sweet Breads was nice as was the little street for taking a walk. I wish I could give higher stars for Carmen and Tomlin House. We felt so very spoiled and our cat was for sure! Thank you, Carmen, for making our stay so special, giving us such a wonderful place to stay. You are a rock star!

We had a lovely stay in Demorest. I work from home and just needed to go somewhere other than home and was wowed by the welcoming home that we arrived to and thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay. Carmen is an amazing host thar really did all the right little things to make your stay feel special.

Seemed like home away from home. Like to cook for myself and had everything I needed. Great stay. Wife hard to please and she was with this stay. Happy wife happy life, right? True story thanks to Carmen's hospitality and preparedness.

I loved everything. The moment I arrived, the owner was finishing up. It was nice to meet her. She did a good job with stocking and supplying the things in her rental. She provided breakfast goods, snacks and drinks. Well stocked with everything else you would need for your stay. She provided a book with nearby restaurants and attractions that you can explore along with maps to those locations. This was one of the most complete travel experiences that I've had in a long time. Its makes you rethink staying at hotels and just renting homes instead. With all this scare of covid19 and hotels not providing amenities but still charging you as you're still receiving them, you get more personalized attention and supplies and comfortable stay. I do recommend anyone in this area to choose this place, you won't be disappointed.

This Vrbo apartment was perfect for my husband and my weekend stay in this area. Carmen has thought of everything that a person may need and has provided it. She made a homemade breakfast casserole that was delicious - my husband’s favorite and a blueberry coffee cake that was to die for - my favorite! Thank you Carmen! The bedroom was large with plenty of room to move around and we slept well on an extremely comfortable bed. Overall, we felt like we were home. We now hope to make this our go-to place to stay whenever we are in town. So glad we found this North Georgia gem!

I have a little hobby of looking for exceptional getaways for my husband and I. From a private yoga retreat to an old farmhouse, we. have had quite a few unique experiences. Without a doubt the Tomlin House apartment and Carmen have provided us with the best getaway possible. There is no way to list all of the little extras we found. This venue is truly a labor of love for Carmen and it will be reflected in your stay.

We loved coming back to the Tonkin House - it felt like we were coming home. Everything is so well done and Carmen is such a welcoming host. Enjoyed being in the area and visit g the vineyard Carmen suggested. Already looking forwArd to a return visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast items were delicious. Everything was clean and comfortable. It is very close to our granddaughter's house. I am sure will stay there again when we are visiting the area.
