My husband and I loved our stay at Emerald Estate. The house is large and immaculate. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Clara was quick to help and answer any questions we had. She helped us navigate the taxi service from Provo airport to the ferry to the marina on N Caicos where we rented a car. We explored all of North and Middle Caicos. Our week was amazing. The snorkeling was okay the first two days but then the high winds made the water too rough. Nonetheless, there were many places to explore. (Side note: bottled water is needed for consumption at Emerald Estate.) There were 3 small grocery stores which made buying necessities easy. There is no way any pictures can do justice to the beauty of the water on this island. Thank you, Clara! We loved our 40th anniversary trip to North Caicos!

If you like a place that is beautiful and far from people, this is a perfect spot. Access to the ocean and the mouth of bottle creek. The only thing better, would be a direct path from the house to the lagoon so you wouldn't have to transport the kayaks by car. Rocky shore but in a half mile of walking there are endless white sand beaches.

What a wonderful property, all made better by Clara, the owner. First, the communication is super. Clara is so friendly and helpful and definitely available with great help ahead of our arrival with suggestions and help with a Covid question. The access was simple, straightforward but also secure. The home is lovely, spacious and has EVERYTHING you’d need for a great family vacation. Literally you’re home away from home, yet it’s set on one of the most gorgeous pieces of property in all of North Caicos. Emerald Estate is near the end of a point and is steps to as many beaches as you can imagine. Our family was there for the Christmas holiday and we literally saw other people on the beaches near the house twice! Most days it was just us! The water and the area are just sublime. The house is terrific. Spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook for a large family. Great “chef” cookware (could use one more larger frying pan for bigger groups) and the sharpest knives I’ve ever had in a VRBO home. A super BBQ, with a full LP tank added to our ability to make great meals we were able to enjoy on the nice outdoor table overlooking the ocean. Clara had SO many nice touches for us from the best soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms a very thoughtful Christmas tree complete with some thoughtful “presents” underneath. The area is fun and all the locals are very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend Emerald Estate.

This is a spectacular property. The house is beautiful, clean and very private. A 10 min peaceful walk and you are at a sparkling sandy beach lagoon. We went there everyday to swim, relax and enjoy the peaceful solitude. Clara was very helpful through texting. The locals in the area are friendly and very accomodating. One of them even made me a birthday cake! If you are looking for a quiet, romantic, private, secluded getaway, this is definitely the place to go. Thank you so much, Clara. I only hope we can visit again someday.

Emerald Estate is an excellent property in a beautiful location. As the last house near the end of the road, it was very private yet nearby all the things one could need in North Caicos. A very short walk to the point/inlet provided wonderful views and great fishing opportunities. The view from the house was amazing and the easterly breezes kept it cool and the bugs away. All appliances were excellent and furnishings comfortable. Clara was very responsive before during and after our trip in helping to manage logistics and with questions. All in an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comfortable home base while exploring the “old Bahamas” feel of North and Middle Caicos.

This was a perfect get away for our group. No crowds, secluded beaches, great place to recharge and relax. The house was beautiful with lots of amenities. I loved driving our jeep onto unknown roads to find spectacular beaches.

We loved our time at this property. It allowed us time to decompress and all out relax. We saw plenty of wildlife including osprey, stingrays, different fish and more! There are beautiful beaches everywhere with so many shades of blue. The sand is perfect and due to it being windy while we were there the bugs were never a problem. We enjoyed dinner in town a few nights but cooked at the house as well. It has all the tools you need to make great meals and store them. We recommend bringing half the clothes you plan on packing. No need for anything fancy. We rented a car from Al and would recommend his services as well. The cars are a bit beat up but they get you where you’re going. Clara was on top of our messages and always had an answer to our questions. Thank you for the real good time!

Our visit to North Caicos was excellent!!!! The turquoise water there is the most beautiful we have ever seen!!! We had a private beach there just a short walk from the house. It is very laid back, secluded, quiet and very relaxing. There isn't shopping or commercial restaurant chains on the island. It was time to slow down and relax. Just what we were looking for. Mrs Clara was wonderful to deal with and always got back to us in a timely manner and answered all our questions.

We are returning from 11 days at Emerald Estate. The owner was very easy to deal with and most accommodating. The check in instructions were extremely clear - no need for the host to be there at all - yet she was always an e- ail away if necessary. The house is luxurious and very clean. A/C worked great ! The house had everything you could need - literally ! Lots of privacy being at the dead end of the peninsula.Lots of room.Only a six minute drive from Horsestable beach - which is gorgeous. Bring walking sticks and take a hike from the house along the beach until you reach horsestable beach in one hour. Having a car is a must ! Would highly reccommend this home for anyone.

Emerald Estates is a beautiful home having all the amenities as if it was your own home. Alpheus was wonderful and a pleasure to deal with. The beach at the north mouth just up the road was breathtaking! The food at Aquatic was amazing, Sacha is a wonderful person & an amazing cook!! Looking forward to another trip one day back to Emerald Estates!!

Alpheus was a great host, very accommodating and quick to respond. The house is beautiful and clean, lots of thoughtful extras in the house. Comfy beds, pillows and linens, full size bars of soap, dishsoap, wifi and more. The views of the ocean out front and the flats out back are spectacular. We spent lots of time at the sandy point at the end of the road, a two minute walk from the house. My husband enjoyed bone fishing in the flats, perfect location to visit in the kayaks. North Caicos is a spectacular place to visit from breathtaking sites like Mudjin Harbor to friendly people and good food. Definately plan to visit North Caicos again and would be happy to rent again at Emerald Estates!

North Caicos is so beautiful! A 5-10 min walk in either direction from the property brought us to long stretches of secluded beach with white powdery sand and shallow turquoise waters. The house was beautiful and came with kayaks and floating lounges which we really enjoyed. We fished from the rocks in front of the villa and my son caught a 5-lb Jack on his first cast! And Alpheus really went above and beyond to make our stay just perfect. He helped us book a driver from the airport, a car rental, and a fishing and snorkling trip. He even arranged a nurse for COVID testing at the villa so we would have results prior to our return flight. Overall it was our best vacation ever! Would definitely come back, and we are recommending to our friends as well.

We had a great week long vacation on North Caicos. Alpheus was fantastic, met us at the ferry , escorted us to his beautiful home , and answered any questions we had. Beautiful picturesque views from all angles of the house. Will definitely go back. And we also had our best meal at the Aquatic restaurant. Sasha was a fabulous cook and treated us like family.

Great location....last house on a spit of land between the ocean and Bottle Creek. Good for long walks on the beach and kayaking. Four single kayaks available, but could definitely use a double kayak. Also would be nice to have a path cut behind house to reach Bottle Creek so you don't have to load kayaks in the car. House was very comfortable and manager very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Emerald Estates. Alpheus was a kind host who met us at the ferry and ensured we were settled into the house. The home is beautiful and definitely off the beaten path. We rented a Jeep and were glad to have it as the road to the house was a little rough. Overall, the beaches in North/Middle Caicos had the most beautiful water we've ever seen and were mostly untouched. As other reviewers have said, we would go many hours and sometimes the entire day without seeing another person. The beach and water right behind the house were amazing. Some things to consider: - Bring cash to the island. While most places take credit card, there are several places and service providers who only take cash . There was no bank or working ATM (that we were told of) on the island. - Bring some snorkeling gear. Alpheus' home has kayaks, water floats, beach chairs and several other things. We neglected to pack goggles/snorkling gear and the only place we were told that had it (Dedrick's) never seemed to be open. - The hospitality is very nice. Not Ritz-Carlton luxury, but very, very kind and warm staff and servers at the restaurants where we dined. We really loved the atmosphere at Miss B's and Barracuda Beach. Sasha at The Aquatic was also delightful. Food was a bit pricey, which makes sense given that almost all food is imported. - We rented the Jeep from Al's rental cars. The vehicles are quite used, but given the roads and environment, we didn't mind. Gas is very expensive but everything is pretty close so we didn't use much. - The home's kitchen has all of the basic cookware you'd need. Basic spices and coffee filters to use with the Mr Coffee pot. Overall, it was an amazing experience! Highly recommend!

Seamless check in. Beautiful house right on the water. A perfect quiet retreat for our family! Kayaks and beach chairs available which were used every day. Alpheus was very helpful in giving us information regarding car rental prior to our visit. Hope to return!

We were looking for a quiet, secluded getaway and we absolutely found it at Emerald Estate. The house was amazing and Alpheus was a wonderful host. We planned this trip at the last minute so I was having trouble finding a rental car during the busy holiday week but Alpheus even managed to find us a nice CRV from Emmy's Car Rental. They met us at the ferry and the car was in really good condition. When we were leaving, we just left the car at the dock for them to pickup later. so easy. Alpheus also met us at the ferry and we followed him back to the house where he gave us a tour and answered all our questions. The house was beautiful! Super clean, with an amazing view, and it had everything we could possibly need. There were even beach chairs, umbrellas, floats and kayaks that we launched right from "our" beach (~20 yards out the back door) It was a quick, easy paddle from there, around the point, and down into Bottle Creek. So to sum up... Awesome house, with an amazing location and a wonderful host. We loved it!

Modern, well-furnished house in a secluded location with direct waterfront access. Wonderful spot for peace, quiet and solitude. Alpheus is a gracious and attentive host and he ensured we had everything we needed without interrupting our privacy.

Very nice rental with all the amenities of home, and then some. Furniture, beds, appliances are all exceptional and well cared for by Alpheus and Clara. Situated on one amazing piece of real estate that pleases the eyes and senses. Sandy beaches void of people, stunning blues of the waters, and resident island people who love life. You will not find glitz and glammer, high dollar car rentals, or the masses looking for constant diretion. You need a open mind, a great sense of adventure, with a love for the road less traveled. We loved the morning sunrise from the upstairs exterior sitting area along with sunsets from the lower deck area. Snorkeling was available directly out front and down to the end of the point. We saw barracuda, snapper, lemon sharks, sea turtles, and mulitudes of reef fish. I fished daily in the surrounding waters, the Bone fishing is world class and 100% DIY ! Plenty of small restuarants and family grocery stores for your needs. I would suggest stopping at the IGA in Provo for meat and snacks...everything else is available on North Caicos....TAKE A CHANCE, RENT THIS WONDERFUL HOME, AND ENJOY....heading home,,,," I soon reach"

Everything about this place was perfect - the views, the beach right at your feet, the house with all the utensils, bedding, water toys, etc, beautifully decorated! Alpheus met us at the ferry as he promised, and we followed him to the property about 10 minutes drive in a rental car which is a must on this island. He also filled the fridge with groceries based on the list we sent him ahead of time, so we were all set for the first couple of days, thank you Alpheus! We then explored all the beaches and restaurants on the North Caicos as well as the Middle Caicos - each place is different and more beautiful than the previous one. Personally I enjoyed swimming off the back of the property the most although it's a bit shallow compare to other beaches, but what can be better than going to swim as soon as you get out of bed right from the door steps? The island does not offer much in terms of the night life, so if that's what you are after - you might want to find a place on Provo. We will definitely go back to this place if we are back on Turks and Caicos!
