We had a great stay at King Hill Cottage. We were dropping off our daughter at Dartmouth and visiting some friends in New London and doing some hiking. Great location. Short drive to New London, close to 89 and Sunappee. The house is beautiful, super clean and comfortable. Loved the clean and simple decor. It was hard to leave.

Our 6 family members stayed two nights for a wedding weekend. We all agreed that the it was the perfect house in the perfect location. We had everything we needed to have a wonderful weekend together. We appreciated the very clean house in just the right spot for all of our wedding activities. Although we didn't do any cooking beyond morning coffee we could see that there was anything we might need. The beds were comfy and we all slept well. We appreciated having all of the linens and towels provided. We could arrive without a worry. We would definitely recommend this property and if ever traveling to the New London area again we will definitely stay here again.

I booked this property for a girls getaway (bachelorette). The house is beatifully decorated and it was spotless. Figuring out the TV was a pain but the managers helped us out. I would suggest they have printed instructions for that.

Perfectly appointed cottage to serve as a base for activities near New London and Lake Sunapee. Sparkling clean with modern amenities. And the outdoor fire pit was spectacular. We will be back.

This cottage was absolutely charming. A 15 min drive to the mountain - it was super convenient to restaurants and fun? We had grandparents and our 2 young children. It was a perfect setup for the 6 of us — plenty of space, great kitchen and comfortable sitting area. We will definitely come again!

We enjoyed two nights at the cottage with our family and it was magical! The space is cozy, bright and comfortable. Our kiddos (8, 6 and 4) spent hours in the kids loft while we adults enjoyed the fire. We highly recommend Kings Hill Cottage for a quiet and fun getaway!

Spent NYE here with two little ones. We didn’t mind staying inside most of the time because the house was so nice! Clean, modern, comfortable. Lots of good restaurants nearby for eating in or takeout.

Loved the crisp…minimalist… white cottage, so easy to be comfortable in! Loved the view of the meadow and mountains from the kitchen window…. Best rental kitchen I have ever been in! Would recommend to anyone seeking a rental in the Sunapee area!

We loved all the little details here. The cottage is spotless. The linens, cookware, etc. are top notch. Henkel knives, fluffy high quality comforters, for instance .... There was a bottle of complimentary wine that we thoroughly enjoyed. Hosts are readily available and kind. Want to check out more of the properties in the future for sure.

The property was clean / comfortable and had everything that we needed. The TV, sheets, towels, pots, pans, utensils, etc. were all of a good quality. The house is very well located and convenient to Lake Sunapee and New London. The hosts were easy to deal with and responsive. We will definitely stay in the house the next time we are in the area.

Beautiful interior and exterior, very clean and comfortable. Greta location - close to New London for restaurants and shopping, and equally close to lake and mountain for outdoor fun. Would absolutely book here again!

We had a wonderful time at Stone Hill. The house had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and have a relaxing time. The outdoor space was a bonus and we had an evening around the fire pit. We enjoyed exploring the Mt Sunapee area and dining. There is a grocery nearby as well as lake access. We had paddle boards and a jet ski and found a small launch at Becketts Landing and also went to the harbor landing. Just a beautiful area and perfect for our family’s end of summer trip. Our 2 year old Labrador wished that the Sunapee area had more ‘dog friendly’ spots. There were trails that we could not go on and could not find a place for her to swim at (aside from the Beckets boat launch). Once we were on the lake, she could swim between our boards. The cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time here -- the property was beautiful and well-appointed, the location was central and quiet, and the overall check-in and check-out process was easy. Loved that it is dog-friendly, too. Would happily stay here again anytime we are up in NH!

Our family of 9 (7 children ages ranging from 3-10 years old) and our two dogs we very comfortable in this adorable cottage. We’ve stayed in many VRBO properties and this one was noticeably the cleanest property we’ve ever stayed in. I will say, it was closer to the main road than I was expecting but still at a safe distance even with young children and the views across the street were beautiful. Other than that everything else EXCEEDED our expectations! Linens were of great quality and smelled fresh like it had just been laundered. The kitchen was bright, spacious and well equipped! The living room was cozy and bedrooms spacious. My children loved the cute loft and “camped” in their own space. Two on the loft and 3 on the air mattress underneath was the set up as their own “clubhouse” with their own TV! Big hit! We didn’t use the space outside much but it was adorable! Had we had more time I think we would have used the fire pit but we were there for a wedding and were pretty busy. I can’t say enough good things about this cottage! We would stay at the Kings Hill Cottage again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend… 10 stars!!! :-)

The King Hill Cottage was really a great location for our extended weekend away with our family. The property was picturesque and offered us the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while having sufficient comfort indoors. Communication and information with the property owners was excellent and really appreciated. It was truly a great escape!

A nice peaceful stay in lovely surroundings… I had just gotten some bad medical news and needed place to disconnect. This was ideal. It so well furnished and organized. Very cute and quaint.

We were in town our son’s graduation and this was a cute and clean option close to the school. I noticed lots of thoughtful touches like extra razors and a bottle of wine for the guests. Clearly a well loved and maintained home. Thank you!

We loved this house ! It was immaculate , newly renovated and had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable! The home is located close to town and Colby Sawyer college so it was perfect for us. We didnt want to leave!

This rental was just about perfect. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, bedroom. Great lighting and easy to use TV and heat. Bed very comfie. Felt like home. The only drawback was the road location due to the fact that we travel with our retriever who likes to exercise. Fortunately there are so many lovely trails and conservation areas around, so we got to take some hikes. All in all a wonderful stay !!

I booked a weekend getaway for myself last minute and couldn’t have been happier! The Kings Hill Cottage was a dream. It’s clean cozy and everything I was looking for. It is exactly as it shows in the photos. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, the beds are very comfortable and nothing beats sitting by the fireplace in a blizzard. I will definitely be back!
