I’m trying to think of something positive to say… The property had parking facilities. New management was nice and friendly.
Where do I begin… The property was absolutely abysmal. The room looked nothing like the photos and was dated and dirty. The bedside tables looked like they had been wiped with a greasy cloth, our bed was full of hair or pubes and we also found the remote control inside the bedding which suggests the bedding was not changed from pervious guest. The aircon was on its last legs and barely worked, the unit was filthy so we were stuck in a dirty stuffy room all night. The floor had pieces of rubbish laying around that suggested nobody had vacuumed. The mugs in our room were also dirty and stained, and the fridge had dirty stains in it, very disgusting! I definitely wouldn’t recommend this dump. I would of asked for a refund however the manager had just started a few days ago and I didn’t want to make her feel bad.

The location was terrible with heavy traffic noise 24/7. Very old dirty building with no soundproofing and no lift. Filthy carpets and water damage in bathroom with a couple of tiles slapped over the damage. Shower fittings were rusty. The room smelt awful, the only modern and reasonably clean area was the reception area.

Great basic room, quiet. In a great location close to our sporting event and to shops. Good wifi and my son loved the swimming pool. Great value for money.
Website said the room would have queen bed and single but only king size bed in room.

room was clean. comfortable bed .chose this as the location was central. right along riverside. walking distance to esplanade and restaurants
spa in pool area not working. no signage to notify out of order.
as there are no lifts we had to walk to our room on the second floor through a fire escape sort of stairwell ,dragging our luggage up the stairs (not at all convenient,especially in the heat and humidity) struggle with the keys and locked doors at both ends until we arrived hot at sweaty to the non aircon hallway .. large fan blowing hot air

this was our second stay at the hotel, really convenient for stopping off on our long drive, rooms are spacious and comfy.
our first stay was great but our room this time round didn’t have a base for the kettle so that was a bit annoying in the morning.

did not have my room cleaned over the 5 days except for the last night I was there.
when beds were made, blanket and sheets were just thrown onto the bed.
Drained clogged in one bathroom so my children could not use it. would overflow with water. no satellite reception on children’s tv. Small pokey rooms with not much space.

Lady at front desk was really nice. Good location in town for the price. Bed comfy
Rooms were pretty gross, mucky round the edges. Bathroom didn’t have a grate over the fan so just a hole in the wall. Next to a main road so not quiet at all. Rooms on lower levels smelt and windows did not open at all.

there was constant noise throughout the night. people slamming doors and being loud. bed was extremely uncomfortable. location was right on the highway, so lots of noise and no privacy

Only the location
The carpets were dirty, my grandson ended up black from crawling on them. The kitchen cupboards were falling apart. No plug for the bath tub. One of the beds felt like it was going to break. And the some of the TV stations didn't work and the TV ended up not working properly on our last night.
