this is a really great place, we loved it! the apartment was spacious, lovely furnished and had a very beautiful view from the balcony and terrace. the breakfast was homemade and different everyday with Sicilian and regional specialties, which we enjoyed it so much, they even provided a variation for food allergies. the pool is beautiful, clean and we had a great time there, the whole garden is a true refuge.

Some things needed mending, was no big deal.

Quite far from the airport!

Perfect in every way. La Scibina has a beautiful garden setting with olive and pomegranate trees. Our apartment was large and well appointed with good AC, there were lots of friendly touches like flowers in our room and pastries on arrival that really made us feel welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The pool was excellent and very clean, as part of the COVID precautions we were allocated our own sun beds which was great. The location is very convenient too, just a 5 minute walk to the beach and promenade at Marina di Ragusta that has lots of restaurants. We had a truly wonderful time.

We loved everything.

The whole La Scibina team was just great. When we arrived they already waited to welcome us. The sweet and savory breakfast varied daily with typical dishes of Sicily. The pool area is really nice and for kids the playground equipment is sufficient. What we really loved is the personal care and being among just a few guests. @La Scibina: Thank you for everything! We hope to return one day.

Unfortunately, it takes 1h40minutes from Catania airport which is a bit long when traveling with young kids but this is really the only thing to mention here. Okay, also the mosquitos but this is nature.
