great beach view, iconic jacuzzi facing the sea view. however the overall uncleanliness inside the house, flies around the balcony and inside the house, the bathrooms smells, and old furnitures, doorknobs not working and everything lack of maintenance. it was not a comfortable 3- night-stay for me for the over €200 per night I’m paying. I will never stay again or recommend to anyone: (

- I stayed 3 nights there. 9/16-9/18/2022. Overall cleaning standard are low. All furnitures seems old and lack of maintenance. I feel the money spent is not worth it at all. - In the balcony where jacuzzi located, it has bad smell of animal pee, and we end up didn’t want to use the jacuzzi at all because we’re afraid of it’s hygiene. the hostess cleaned it after our complaints. - Things inside the house all feel old and lack of maintenance. window Mosquito net inside the bedroom cannot close. duster everywhere. bedsheets are old and used. I felt itchy all over my body after staying 3 nights :( - WiFi does not work at all in both bedrooms. NO signal to receive phone calls & text messages, either. So we could only use internet on the balcony or living room. - The hair dryer stopped working all of a sudden. the both bathrooms’ doorknob are hardly working. it’s a very uncomfortable stay. the hostess is responsive and friendly. however I hope they can invest some money to improve in the infrastructures inside this property.

I like the apartment, it was nicely equipped (I would maybe add some barbecue on the terrace) but otherwise it is ok. It has quite nice view (other vials next to us got even better one) but it was still very good. Terrace was quite big. Value for money was perfect. Additionally there was some misunderstanding with overbooking at the beginning but at the end host solved the issue in way, we still could keep our reservation.

Location is a bit far from main towns but with car is everything reachable, just sometimes takes a bit time. What was the worst part was the hot tub. It was cold even tho host turned on heating hours ago. Additionally we could not set more than around 35 C. Since in October is already quite cold it was not sufficient .. And there is something like automatic turn off around 6pm, so when we wanted to go in in the evening it was around 31 degrees and that was really too cold. (this has not changed even after we asked for longer heating one evening). I believe in summer those temperatures are perfectly fine but for autumn it is too cold.

Popi is an amazing host. Helped us anytime we needed and recomended nice places and a local guy to rent a car cheaper tha online. The house was clean, jacuzzi cleaned frequently, nice view to the sea, chill area, the AC did a good job over the day for all the rooms if inside doors were open.

To reach the bathroom from the room with AC you have to cross another room. The room with its own bathroom is heating up fast and doesn't have AC.

Thank you for having us at Vila Merhia! Great hospitality from the hosts, who made sure our stay was comfortable and provided everything we needed. The house is simply amazing, spacious, clean and absolutely beautiful blending into the Cycladic style.

We liked the space in the house, the large terrace and the great view. And offcourse the hospitality of Popi and her husband. We had a great time. We will surely recommend it at our friends.
