We really enjoyed our stay at the Rockin' Y Ranch. The house was spacious and clean. It was really well stocked with supplies, spices, condiments, etc. The pool was very nice, clean, and an enjoyable place to hang out. It really came in handy with the plus 100 degree heat we had the week we were there. The barn was great to hang out in in the evening, but wasn't air conditioned so really couldn't enjoy it during the heat of the day. Some ceiling fans or larger pedestals fans could help that, though. We had plenty of places to sleep for our group of 20+, but would have been convenient to have an extra bathroom, especially upstairs. We would definitely recommend this place, and are hoping to stay here again. Just not when it's over 100 outside. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and it was a great place to hang out with family and friends. Thanks for the hospitality.

You are not far from anything you want to do. And when you don't feel like it, it's a great spot for a large group to hang with all the amenities. Big kitchen, great pool, party barn with all kinds of games, firepits, and more. Perfect spot for our group and we will be back!

We came here to celebrate a friend's bachelorette weekend and it was so much fun! We had plenty of room and the pool and party barn were both huge hits. Communication with Natalie was great and we would definitely recommend this stay to anyone visiting ATX. Thanks again :)

Terrific place to catch up, reminisce, and celebrate. Spacious common areas with plenty of bedrooms for the group. Great outdoor spaces, refreshing pool, and unique “party barn” with games and AV systems. Friendly and helpful hosts. We had an excellent visit.

the house is incredible and the back house is perfect for a fun time. the hosts were great and helped us with everything and were very understanding with our flight trouble too. would highly recommend!

We had such a fun stay at the ranch. The house was super comfortable and has a big , well outfitted kitchen. The party barn was the perfect venue for our family’s Thanksgiving celebration.

The Rockin Y Ranch was the perfect place for our family reunion! The lovely pool, the fun barn and the outdoor fire pit made for wonderful family fun! We also enjoyed the beautiful morning sunrises with vistas of downtown Austin. through the old oaks trees that lace the property. Just a wonderful place to stay in Austin, perfect for us!!

The property is great to have a party with family and/or friends. The party barn and pool offer many activities to keep the group entertained throughout the whole stay.

Amazing experience staying at this beautiful private property. Non stop entertainment from the pool to the game-filled party barn to the short 15 minute drive downtown. Comfortably fit all 16 of us with lots of easy to follow instructions for the amenities. 10/10 recommend!!

We stayed for a girls trip. We loved the plenty bedrooms and large kitchen. The barn was fun too. You feel like you are at home. The perfect escape from it all. 15 minutes to Downtown. Thank you for your hospitality.

This property is amazing! There is so much to do without having to step off the property. The location is perfect for all activities just a quick uber ride and you can be at Lake Travis or Downtown! The owner is great at following up on any of your needs.

This property was a perfect getaway for our group of 14. We has plenty of options to play games, enjoy the pool, and the large kitchen. The house was fully stocked with whatever was needed. Would go back again.

AMAZING property that housed our company's 30-person offsite for 3 days. We loved everything about the home, the property and the amenities. This is definitely going to be a place where we could return!

First, you will not read a criticism of any part of this ranch/stay in this review, because there is nothing we could say we would improve - the place is amazing. We were a group of 8 guys so there was more than enough room. The location is amazing - so close the S. Austin and Austin with easy access to the airport as well. Yet, you feel like you are deep in to Hill Country while you are sitting at pool with the most serene setting imaginable all around you. We had thought the Party Barn was going to be the highlight but maybe because we were only 8, the amazing main house kitchen, flowing into the living room, flowing out onto the pool area is all our group could want. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the bedding. The place was stocked with all you need, better than any rental I've ever been in. This place is a diamond - if it's available and fits your needs, DO NOT HESITATE! Great all around!

We were in town for our son’s wedding and wanted to give the East Coast Family a relaxed Texas Experience. This was the perfect place. The house was extremely roomy and comfortable. It was well stocked. Natalie was totally responsive to our needs. The taxidermy was a great topic of conversation!

Fun for the whole family! Beautiful property with lots of room to explore. We really enjoyed making meals in the well stocked kitchen, playing games in the party barn each night and s’mores by the fire pit. The kids even took a quick dip in the pool although it was pretty chilly. There is some pretty extensive construction going on nearby but the owner made us aware before our stay and while it was a little noisy at times it didn’t really bother us. Great property!

We had a wonderful four days over Christmas at the Rockin’ Y Ranch!! We had seventeen people ages 18 months to 91 and every person had a space to be and something to enjoy. It was the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever stayed in… they expect a crowd and they’re prepared for it! Large pots and pans, plenty of dinnerware and flatware and glasses. They provided paper towels and TP, dishwasher and laundry detergent, lots of food storage options, etc. There are two fridges for lots of storage, too. The bedrooms all had closets with hangers and dressers to unpack. That may be a silly thing to list, but I had just come from another VRBO without any place to put clothes and this was a welcome change! We enjoyed the fire pit, party garage, places to run around and play football, multiple places to sit inside, and the special Christmas decorations and poinsettias and extra touches put out by Natalie. The only thing not listed is that there is construction going on behind the property and, while they were working while we were there and Natalie apologized for the noise, we really didn’t notice it at all except to have fun watching with our kids. This home is full of quirky charm and everything you need for a stay with multiple families or a multi-generational family gathering. Tons of beds and options for little kids. Natalie is amazing and we were so grateful for our time together in her home.

This location was great for our family to come together and celebrate our parents anniversary. There was plenty of room for 10 adults and 5 kids. The pool was not heated, but we knew that going in. The party barn was great to house 25 of us to also celebrate Thanksgiving, during the same time period. While not the cleanest, the barn was great to house the dinner/lunch/ and Thanksgiving. The week of our trip, they began leveling for a neighborhood adjacent to the property so we heard heavy equipment into the night and lost some of the property access. This construction also meant that the donkeys were released into the neighborhood, which resulted in the police showing up at 1:30 in the AM and wanting to know if we knew how to get them back. It also resulted in several days without the donkeys, which was of interest to several of our younger guests. Things happen. The house was full of great collectibles, cooking items, and spices; as well as had a great kitchen, with seating for our family. It was not as clean as we would like and one of the beds appeared to have been slept in. The biggest issue was the presence of cockroaches, which came out each morning and evening. The first couple we chalked up to being an older home and Texas, however after spraying the main level- we continued to see several each day. The host was great in responding to questions and all in all we had a great time. Without the mentioned items, this would have been a great place. Do not expect a new classy home, but a great location and room for the entire family. (Ps. I will add the kids loved catching lizards and scorpions around the rocks and abandoned trailers ) If this place is still around, assuming they are not going to bulldoze it, it’s worth a look for a bachelor party, family reunion, or large family get together. I should add, each gathering area had the capability to pipe music and we really did have a good time; just be aware of some of the possible “surprises”.

We had a great stay at Rockin’ Y Ranch! Tons of space for a large group to spread out - plenty of rooms and bathrooms! The barn is super fun for games! Property was fun to explore and felt really secluded even though we were only about 20 minutes from the action downtown. Property manager and owner were super responsive when we had any questions.

I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone. One of the most unique places I've stay in, and 15 minutes from Austin. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Awesome ranch, house and party barn. My family and friends from Philadelphia and NJ had a great time enjoying all the amenities at the ranch while in town for my daughters wedding.
